After having its little fun speech acting as a form of intimidation for the two women obviously talking about Yakoul down at the dungeon, the empress had made her glorious comeback as soon as Yakoul had terminated its thoughtful monologue. As it heard the woman's voice, Yakoul froze and swallowed its overflowing pride of being the empress' pet and having the right to express such atrocious things without punishment. Yakoul turned to face the empress who suddenly caught the creature's tail before scolding it about how it seemed to enjoy using it. Yakoul winced, though not out of pain but out of sheer guilt and disgust for what it did to disobey, lowering it head down to face the floor as a sign of apology and submission to the woman. As soon as Shoko's morality lesson was made, the compliment ensued which very suddenly made Yakoul smile again.

"My apologies, m'lady... I'm not worthy."

It said, slowly rising its head back up to face its superior upon displaying complete submission to her. Its tail was now free and Yakoul had set its hands behind its back once more, taking a well mannered position once more at the side of the empress. When Shoko revealed a special awe-inspiring power, Yakoul's eyes were overflowing with curiosity, its heard following different flashes of light that were triggered as events were flowing very quickly in the imagery. Yakoul didn't really understand what this brought to them, but it didn't question much and its attention was captured by anything that seemed pretty to it. Only when the One-Tails would be spoken of and Yakoul's ears would twitch as a huge explosion could be captured from afar. The being could hear the extremely powerful entity already causing havoc in the nearly desolate battle grounds the jounin had created after exterminating the rats. This made Yakoul enter a rather defensive pose a it was unaware as to what may happen.

"M'lady Shoko, what do we do? Shall I evacuate you or should I neutralize the threat? Or do you have a better plan?"

Asked the crazed animal while remaining close to its master at all times. Last thing it would want is a bijuudama crashing toward the only thing it had to protect in its life. It was ready, senses breaf already in full power in order to capture every movement made by the titan outside of these castle walls.

I have a character named Soria Tetsukuzu-Senju (aka Soria of the Forest). He's technically a sage because he passively absorbs natural energy from nature (plant life) and he has an intimate bond with nature (flora specifically), hence his alias and partially his ability to manipulate plants.So yeah. Technically, a sage is just someone who absorbs natural energy and uses it for jutsu. The animal sages just tend to have an advantage since they also get to take on traits of their summon(s) giving them additional physical characteristics.

If it's an animal, then it should have the possibility to be a "great sage", despite it being of real nature or so called "myths". And by that logic, whoever bonds with a dragon should, by all rights, become a Dragon Sage.

Screw dragons, they're too overused and overrated anyway.
