Aoi Don Maquia

Doto's reaction didn't move Aoi too much, she was all too used to being sensitive. It reminded her of her life as a Genin as well, actually. Being from a very different world from most of them, where everyone lived in a community and barely any harmed was made between each member of the troupe. The concept of killing was practically fictional to her when she joined Konoha. Babied by unconditional love from her foster home, it hit her hard when she was put in a similar position as the two Genin before her. She didn't like it, it made her cry quite a bit. It was a spy who had a little too much information on the location of a secret base she wasn't even aware of. Her teammates didn't fare well to the idea either, but their sensei insisted that they'd get their hands dirty. The kid was hurt, but very much alive and conscious. He tried to look tough, almost as if he was trying to give off a lack of fear, but anyone could tell he was terrified.

She raised her hand.

She took the initiative of having first blood. The concept of taking a life slowly sunk in her mind as another chore she'd have to practice and getting used to, to the point of being desensitized by it. It succeeded as she joined the ranks of Chuunin, killing was normal when justified. She'd never forget the burst of fear that boy expressed as she approached the Kunai to his throat. She was a bit clumsy at that time and her hands were shaking out of nervousness. But it was done fairly quickly, the clean cut quickly leaking the life right out of his eyes. She didn't feel too good afterward, but with the praise of her Sensei and a little morality speech to explain how her action was the right one, she felt remedied from this negative feeling. She gained attention and praise from killing someone. Hence, her lack of worry in these kinds of situations. She associated this feeling to what she craved most: Fame and praise.

Haruka's expression touched her slightly, as if she felt obliged to consider her teammate's feelings in this scenario. There was no real danger and they could overpower the man whenever. She was going to let Rin do it, but not right now. However Daiki had his valiant heart going and stopped Rin before Aoi could give her the Sensei's head shake. Cocking an eyebrow, she couldn't believe what she was hearing. Daiki, acting like a hero again, in a time like this? This went against Aoi's desire to act through altruism, to consider everyone's needs or at least try your best to offer as much to others while getting what she wants herself. Rin needed this experience more than he did. In the future, she'd try her best to prepare Doto better. When he suggested alternative routes that could lead to more casualties, she'd mercilessly stomp the redhead's foot with brute force, enough to turn his big toe blue for a week. This would interrupt his little moment of 'selflessness' and turn the attention to the leader.

"God, shut up Daiki! My orders are final! Rin will conduct this execution~... Wait what?!"

She'd say with an empowered tone, almost screaming without giving off an angry impression. However she did actively try to hurt him as disobeying her command in order to put himself in value over a Genin was simply annoying to her. She still liked him though, as a friend, with that questionable heroism always so charming for a lady. She'd however not be so controlled when Rin actually chickened out too. Gritting her teeth in slight disbelief, she didn't expect her Chuunin to be to reluctant to performing typical Shinobi actions.

"Pfff, way to go Daiki! Now what will they learn?! They'll learn we do everything and Aoi can't teach them nothing! Ugh! You're such a pickle sometimes."

She'd rage at Daiki, the need to crush his foot even more became very tempting. They still had to prepare their execution and insure that he wouldn't come back as his very own puppet. They were still five on one, so he couldn't do too much, especially with only weak corpses at his disposal. She looked at the old man for a brief moment as they waited, he didn't look like that kid she handled back then. He seemed really empty, fearless. He wanted to die.

She sighed, now simply awaited for Haruka to get the kiddies back so she could maybe salvage this.

Aoi Don Maquia

Tactically positioned to react if there would be an attack, Aoi was well placed to witness the whole scene, almost as if she was watching a movie through her television, the window serving as a screen separating reality from fiction. But it was all too real for it to be that easy, the window was slightly opened and the gust of wind blowing the droplets right through that small opening had made some parts of his speech hard to hear. But Aoi understood quick enough that the man was displaying no non-verbal actions that reflected a form of menace, and his words dictated a need for euthanasia by one of the shinobi sent here. Pulling the widow up completely, Aoi jumped in to regain her fellow Shinobi.

With Haruka's and Rin's word that followed Doto's lack of enthusiasm toward the old man's request, Aoi saw opportunity for the little gemstone Genin she was polishing during this mission. As her teacher did before her, she'd find unique occasions to prepare the young ambitious to the cruel world of the shinobi. Although Aoi had never had the need to kill a comrade, she was often implanted the idea that it may happen since treason was all too common in "eras of peace" unfortunately. So in her mind, killing off even a defenseless individual without any means to defend out of necessity was the bare minimum she could teach them about life.

"I like your initiative, Rin~"

She'd respond to her statement and willingness to actually carry out the old man's desire. Initiative, something Aoi held dearly both in her general morals and in her fighting style. Just as she grabbed the first opportunity to be a team leader, she'd grab any other to avoid losing any chances at life. This made her gain notoriety, generally positive when it came to entertainment. So it made her happy to see Rin taking the reins a bit and holding onto the basis of their duties.

"Doto, Rin. One of you, kill 'em. We'll handle the repercussions... So yes we'll carry out your wish mister, for the safety of the people in this country and the safety of the village~"

Aoi ordered her Genin subordinates with a solemn tone before acting like her usual, playful self. She at least made death appear a little more lighthearted than it normally would be. But at least she was respecting the man's requests, plus it wasn't entirely unjustified. However the idea of her conferring this task to the kids may appear off to the vague morals of the shinobi around here. They were all killers here, or at least the Chuunin were. They didn't have the right to judge her choice of how to murder the man as long as it didn't involve some sadistic pleasure. Things were going to be done right under her command, after all results would only make her more popular.

"I'm sorry, Mister."

But with the little empathy and respect she had for the man, she bowed her head before tossing a kunai to both Rin and Doto. Was it going to be their first kill or was it all too common for them? Aoi could only guess Rin was the type to be desensitized already given her behavior, Doto however seemed to cower more to the idea. She wasn't going to pressure both of them at once, especially since one seemed more open to it. But eventually, Doto would have to face reality.
@Angel Eyes Don't underestimate my intelligence, I have Aizen level of intelligence as most would say, Renny and Kal knows this very well. I figured that Suku would face stuff irl as she's my senpai and factoring Fubuki into my plans fits. No matter, Fubuki will eventually shine.

... So you have a magical author that makes every retarded thing that has happened here part of your plan?

Aoi Don Maquia

With the kiddies out of the way, Aoi was very well ready to manhandle the origin of these threads. But before any of that, Daiki decided to offer a dose of doubt to the glorious captain of the team. As much as it made it seem like they were being casual and avoiding any form of suspicious from a possible nearby threat, she was vexed by his lack of faith in her colorful initiative. Pouting, she'd stop for a second to face him, almost as if she was putting aside her priorities to get things straight.

"Daiki... Does this face look unsure to you?"

She grimaced in a pretty grotesque manner, using her elastic-like features to make a ridiculous, stern look that screamed seriousness in its purest caricature. She kept it for about a second before the chakra threads would vanish and her Bungee would be severed, causing a double reaction out of shock for the clown. Quickly turning her head to the direction of the threads, she charged in toward that general direction, applying bungee from her back to a nearby shelf to insure a safe retreat. As she neared a corner, she swiftly swooped in with her cards up in a defensive manner similar to holding a kunai. Nothing, just a backdoor exit leading directly toward an alleyway. In Aoi's mind, they were probably stretched from a much farther distance and some how the puppetmaster could see them. But she didn't think too much of it and would ready herself in order to organize her team to approach this new lead...

But of course, as fate would have it, at that very moment Doto would have opened his big mouth to indicate he had found something, something much farther than the perimeter she had demanded to over watch by her comrades. She cursed under her breath since her orders were clearly disobeyed and Haruka didn't keep the kid under control... Which she couldn't really hold against him too much give it was THAT Genin.

"Let's go, Daiki."

She had ordered, her mood being a little rattled by her sudden lack of control over the situation. With Daiki's consent, she'd jump on the roof of an adjacent building connected to the alley and hopped through rooftops to keep up with Doto's trail. He was running toward a teahouse which happened to be connected to that same alley. On top of that, it had a superior floor with windows exposing it. Aoi supposed that Doto's little initiative did help in the progression of this mission, but once again he was charging in regardless of orders which didn't make anyone feel good. While the Genin entered the building, Aoi used her basic chakra abilities to glue her foot and hand on a wall next to a window.

As she peered over at it, she signaled Daiki to come along and look from the opposite side. She could see what Doto could see, but the window would be located at the farthest side of the superior floor to the sitting man. Thus Doto was much closer to the man than Aoi would be, but in exchange she'd be in good position to cover him if needed while Daiki could surprise attack.

"Who is this weirdo..."

She didn't ask anyone in particular, questioning what was up with this screwed up town and just what were they supposed to do with no client on the radar. She readied herself before acknowledging that the man was drinking something. That made her recall, did the Genin actually throw up the obvious trap that was the soup made by the obviously unsympathetic zombie puppets? She gulped, a little stressed as to what her reputation would be if she had two Genins dead by poison.

Fujitora Choko ; The Overseer

Driven by the hilarity of how lame or bad of taste the jokes in the daily he was reading, he didn't leave the restaurant for at least a good amount of time. The only factor that actually made him depart before hi break was over would be apparition of a Chuunin messenger who passed on a request from the Hokage to meet him at the mansion for whatever reason. Rolling his eyes, he'd start by picking up one of his trademark cigarettes and lighting up without a single ounce of hurry in his actions. Upon inhaling a nice amount of tobacco, he'd release it all in a small cloud of gray smoke. Leaving the newspaper on the table he ate on, he'd dropped a bill largely covering both their meals and leaving a generous tip to the lovely lady Minamoru.

"Fucking hell, what do they want now... You can scram."

He'd say with authority to the small chuunin, the young man bowing his head in respect and slight intimidation before following the order by leaving the premises. Sighing out of disbelief, Fujitora walked out of the restaurant so he could leap toward his workplace and arrive quick enough to avoid any remarks about being late on an official Hokage request. A lot of people were here despite it being generally time to eat for them. Was this meeting that important? This question would be answered when he'd enter the conference room Ayame had recently joined. The mass of participants made it very clear this was not just some random political matter they could just shrug off for the time being. Joining the Hokage's and his sister's side, he couldn't help but ask.

"Zeno, what the hell?"

The commander appeared slightly worried as to what all of this may entail. He addressed the Hokage casually, considering him as a friend since he had been recognized skillful enough to lead the Jonin corp. They already had a Jashin problem going around along with gangs getting more and more violent in Downtown, all they needed was some new scandal that involved the Hokage's intervention. Hopefully, this would be in relation with their already existing problems and not a new crisis.

Aoi Don Maquia

Aoi's cheek puffed an extra size that moment as she recognized that her colleague continued to tease her with honorifics, but this time calling her "chan". In truth all Aoi thought of this concept was to be like her previous master and brag to all her friends how people were obligated to call her sensei, but her upbringing and lack of literacy until recently made it hard for her to completely understand this principle, especially coming from a troupe where everyone was equal and she'd only refer others as "Mister" or "San" because of general politeness but otherwise she was barely adequate to live in civilization. At least it caused her to have a little cat and mouse game with her much older comrade. Even if it led him to mockingly state the obvious. She cocked an eyebrow, but didn't make a remark this time as she concluded Haruka was examining it firmly.

He was more or less confirming what Aoi had mused, displaying a confident sense of precaution which she shared upon looking out the window. Her team was heading to the shoe store. From her distance she couldn't really know why they went there but as sounds of walls being erected and blades clashing occurred, the clown's stature tensed as she instinctively hopped off the desk and wielded a set of three cards in her left hand, reacting accordingly to Haruka's last statement.

"Yop, looks like shit hit the fan already! Let's go~"

She said in a playful tone, the complete lack of worry toward the current situation was blandly displayed and was evident proof of her lack of grasp with the reality of things. She saw this as a potential challenge to be better and of course, make herself look good as a teacher since her little munchkins would get the right training they need. Jumping out of the inn, she'd look left and right as if she was crossing a road before performing a second bounce toward the store's entrance where she'd see her Genin and Daiki handling the situation like well trained shinobi. She still seemed pretty happy and unmoved by what was going on, seemingly more intrigued as to what attacked them than how they were doing. They looked fine anyway, right?

"More like you're all lucky I sent you in!"

She'd return Daiki's claim about them being lucky that he was around. They sure made a mess of the place, shoes laying all over the place, shelves shattered, the whole place riddled with senbon. It was... Fantastic, she thought. They were the perfect team, no menace being a match to their greatness. She slowly made her way in, the zombie puppets appearing to be of little challenge to even the Genin. However they did leave a foul smell due to their decomposed state.

"Peeeeee-yuuuuu! Whoever got those bodies must be hella gross!"

She'd add while pinching her nose with her free hand, all the while hurling a single card at a completely maimed corpse right at the head to finish it off. The remaining threats, if they were of this level, would be easily handled by three Chuunin and two Genin, but she had noticed the strands of chakra connected to the few remaining corpses. The most logical solution would be to follow them, no?

"Daikiiiii~"

She'd call for him so she could have his attention as she pointed at the strands leading deeper into the store. It was too dark to see if it led to a corridor or an exit, or something entirely different, but they had a lead and the puppet master couldn't be too far if he'd have to over watch the progression of his puppets. She'd slowly approach the trail, this time being a little more cautious in case of a possible sneak attack, all the while finishing off rather easily lone corpse puppets so they'd go on unhindered. She had her cards ready and everyone seemed wary enough to be ready for anything. She gestured Haruka and one of the Genin to remain near the entrance and eventually find a possible escape route for their foe or even another entrance they could use to surprise attack their enemy. She felt so cool by doing that, by the way.

Aoi Don Maquia

Everyone was doing as she ordered and that made her feel... In control. She felt like she was actually conducting everything and nothing bad could go south with her in command, after all it was like handling an audience, right? She'd sit herself on the edge of the counter and peered down at the dead puppet, examining it for a second before concluding she had no clue as to what she could do with it. Looking back up at Haruka with a malicious grin, she wanted to make him work for not calling her Sensei for the second time as demonstration to the others that she was the badass of the century.

"It's Sensei, Ueno-Kun~"

She'd arrogantly claim once again while keeping that creepy grin. She'd follow up with an order she had just come up with to actually get some answers concerning this situation.

"But it's okay, as long as you give me your super experienced opinion on this body~ Do you think someone's waiting outside with more puppet strings just to kill us all off?~"

She had asked him, the idea not being too ridiculous in itself since she had very well seen what was going on. But it was okay, she had confidence that Daiki could pull off miracles with his secret Sharingan she had been aware of since highschool and Rin would have her kekkei genkai to give her a small advantage toward the average thug. As for Doto, well, she still had him on bungee, so if he were in danger, it didn't matter too much. She didn't find it too dumb to be waiting inside either as she could easily overwatch from a window anything that would try to ambush her comrades all the while having this building more or less cleared with their appropriation of it.

"Should we go out and search for our client or do you suspect all this being an elaborate ruse, like in a cop show? It was all part of a grand scheme... In a dark and stormy night..."

She added, formulating various ways she could get her team out of danger because of these outcomes all the while looking exceptionally fantastic and downright amazing in terms of presentation. The ending of her sentence would be enacted in a way that she was simulating an overly dramatic scene a la dark themed narrator. She was going to be the best team leader in her school year even if it means pulling off ridiculous stunts to achieve it.

Aoi Don Maquia

Doto was rolling around, which could be to her advantage as it could possibly distract the weird guy if he were to try anything funny. If anything went wrong she could just pull him in with her bungee's power, but they waited. Daiki added his two cents, trying to reason with the guy which seemed pretty fruitless as he'd look up toward the leader of the team. Aoi reacted with her eyebrow cocking in confusion as to what he wanted from her in particular, especially with a kid rolling about covered in transparent goo. It didn't take long for the artificial person to jump and start assaulting Aoi. With Rin by her side, she didn't really have the option to retreat in the risk of exposing her new found subordinate. Instead Aoi prepared herself, clapping both hands together. Before she could expose what she was doing, Doto had apparently tripped the guy, causing him to fall to his doom down the set of stair. 'That was... Anti-climactic' she thought to herself upon witnessing this scene.

She'd look to her left, then her right. That couldn't be it, that was the most boring display of abilities since the Rock Hard Lee bad came to town and made a major public flop. She wasn't expecting some comeback, especially with Doto acting as if everything was cleared and the menace was gone, like some stereotypical horror movie where a jumpscare was bound to happen. But alas, it did not occur and it just ended up with Doto accusing Aoi of killing some dude even if ignoring the kid was their undoing.

"He's dead?! ... I regret nothing, I saved my Genin~"

She'd say to ease a bit the tension brought upon this place. But she was curious to know if he was dead. She didn't release the bungee on him but manipulated it slightly to have it glue itself on the back of his shirt, because Kami knows how it would be mandatory to keep this kid on a leach. She approached the stairs Doto run through so carelessly and popped her head out of the railing like a kid's cartoon character to peer down at the fallen corpse. Well it was confirmed, it was some old, dusty puppet so no regrets whatsoever. She'd hop down to the lobby's level and stood on the front desk so she could investigate the "corpse". She thought for a second and noticed Doto was accompanied.

"Hey Rin, Daiki go with Doto please. Haruka come and see this real quick!"

She'd request from her team as the leader she claimed to be. She was imitating her past sensei, scrabbling her team in a logical way to keep things under control. To her Haruka was the smart guy who could make sense out of this while Daiki could probably hold off incoming threats with the help of two Genin. She was going to stick around and not leave Haruka exposed and alone to a possible to ambush.

Aoi Don Maquia

The crew was safely uniting in Aoi's temporary headquarters to attend in her little improvised meeting for chuunins only. Daiki got a little tense over the soup while Haruka complied without adding anything else. At least they were acting like their usual selves, both being such fantastic buzzkills that it made Aoi the star of the mission. Anyway, they were united in the bedroom and Aoi felt butterflies in her tummy, butterflies coming from the feeling of actually being the center of everything as the leader. She liked it when people listened to her.

"That's DON Maquia-Sensei for this mission, Ueno-KUN!"

She say with sass, but the tone gave off the lack of seriousness in her words, and those who knew her would conclude that she wouldn't be the confrontational type anyway, so going against her more petty orders was not of worry. She was sitting legs crossed, on her bed as she looked at the two. She took a minute to think, Aoi wasn't too sure as to what she would discuss actually and made this meeting out of pure impulse, but she was still proud of it. While some ruckus was being made in the hall, she finally stated what she was wanting to discuss with her two colleagues.

"Okay okay! So... How do you guys feel about all this? Do we make some super fighting tactic in case mister stalker is dangerous?!"

She'd ask with enthusiasm going at a crescendo pace as she spoke. It was her first serious mission in a long time after all and she wanted a good report from both her colleagues and the client. As such, she actually gave a little care to being prepared, contrarily to her usual impulsive behavior. It was quite foreign to her, hence her need to pause and think for a second before saying anything. But she'd then answer to her own question to get the exchange going on.

"I personally think that this inn is creepy, 'cause it's so quiet around and yeaaaaahhh! Oh and also there's thi- Ugh Wait a sec guys."

She'd cut herself off, hearing Doto being a little too loud with his commotions to the point of having Aoi intervene like the good leader that she was. She marched out of the room, letting the two men discuss whatever if they wanted to stick around. Poking her head out of the door frame she'd glare at Doto as he had just been kicked out of Rin's room. Puffing her cheeks, she was going to scold the heck out of Doto for going in a girl's room and making a mess about it.

"DOTO! Stop messing around or you'll get a pink slip! I'm warning you I'm not afraid to use it! They call me the PinkSlippernator for a reason! Now... Huh? Hello?"

As she was carried away in her little monologue about punishing Doto with a pink slip, a notice showing a lack of proper discipline or something very school-like that no one actually cared about except maybe for Genins. But she was once again cut off by the silhouette of a strange looking man. The appearance didn't bother Aoi as carnies were not really all that less creepy in general, but she did notice something strange with him beyond the questionable appearance. There were things stuck on him, string-like things all around his body similar to her Gooey Bungee but much thinner and hard to discern. However they gave off a color which made them a little more evident for her to see as she was used to optic illusions and minor details on elaborate tricks. She didn't take any chances and imposed herself in the middle of the corridor, immediately latching a Bungee on Doto's body, whether he liked it or not. She couldn't have a Genin getting hurt under her command after all! She didn't pull though, in fear of making a bad move to provoke the strange man.

"'Ey Doto, c'mere next to me real quick, my Gooey Bungee is stuck on my hand and I need your help~. And let the mister introduce himself..."

She'd say out loud, for one to give a practical reason for Doto to get out of the way without waving any red flags but also to warn her comrades that something was up. This could or could not be a threatening approach, but she didn't take any chances.

Fujitora Choko ; The Overseer

The whole time Fujitora would snicker like some 9 year old who had pulled the prank of the century, making fun on her as she did give off that annoyed vibe he was looking for, but she did retort with something that played along. He'd laugh in response, being the usual sport he was when it came to jokes, whether they were direct at him or not. Wiggling his index finger at her to express his amusement and approval for what she said, he did concur on the fact that he looked abnormally silly, even for a clown.

"Hahahaha, holy shit yeah I went full moron there. Now all you gotta do it make your hair darker and we'll be the masters of disguise."

Unbeknownst to him, this was what she was going to do anyway, what a stroke of luck huh? As the sushi arrived, he nabbed a couple of chopsticks and went all in wolfing down whatever was at the end of the sticks. He was indeed hungry and all that work sure made him a lot more prone to having a need for delicious and filling food. His sister would of course take the opportunity to talk about what was dwelling in her mind, confiding to her brother as she often did. He'd do the same with her, though if he had a need to express something he'd ask her to the restaurant instead. She talked, and Fujitora ate. He didn't like to chatter while eating, one thing at a time was a philosophy he did like to apply when food was involved. He'd listen of course, and answer with "Uh-huh" and "M'hm", all the while understanding perfectly what she was saying. After all, no one knew them more than each other, not even their own parents.

She was talking about a man, obviously, and about her ideals of things belonging to her, and them. He could put sense into it, and her way of speaking was often put in a way that even some elements were irrelevant to anything concerning her current torment. Once again, he could filter that. As she finished, he'd nod and pause for a few moments to think.

"You sound a bit on edge, Aya. You may want to think things through if you want to go beyond taking care of other people's kids and taking your own step into this world. I'm sure our origin won't matter, in the end."

He'd say, being a little more explicit than her, all the while not truly exposing his thoughts on it, or at least not making them obvious enough for typical bystanders to comprehend. He wasn't finished though, he had to answer her question. It seemed pretty rhetorical considering their history, but she wanted an answer and he'd give one to her as always.

"Of course, Aya."

He'd answer all so simply. This prompted her to immediately leave without adding a single word, which left her brother rather flabbergasted to say the least. He didn't say anything as the surprise was just astonishing to a point. Plus, he was left to pay the bill, causing a fail to bulge out of her forehead. Well, she may have won this round, but the never ending sibling feud would be his one day. "Bitch." he'd mumble under his breath as he acknowledge the bill for their little meal. At least he could finish the leftover she left, as vulgar as it seemed he didn't care too much considering the amount of respect he had gained in this village. He still had a bit of time before his break so... He'd grab a forgotten newspaper on a table recently abandoned and started to scrutinize the jokes section.

"Oh wow I am way not high enough to be laughing at this."

He'd tell himself as if he were batshit crazy. The jokes were evidently the lame bubblegum types he'd only spew when reaching a critical point of intoxication. Nonetheless, he was loading his brain with these atrocities for his revenge against his witch of a sister who fulfilled his black hair prophecy.

Aoi Don Maquia

During their travel Aoi had made herself pretty comfortable on Doto's back, to the point of adopting multiple positions to bother him, but putting it under the flag of adding challenge to his training. He hadn't gotten the memo though, she was going to cut off on his earnings if he wasn't going to be more careful with his maneuvering. So far, he was doing a lousy job which tested the clown's patience. When they arrived near their destination, rain started to befall the protagonists and prompted Doto to comment on it. Aoi enjoyed the rain, it simply felt natural for her and didn't mind getting wet whatsoever. That and she had an evident advantage in rain with her ability to actually turn invisible in to. Maybe she could pull a stunt on someone by going full stealth on them as they complained about the bad weather.

They then reached the conveniently placed inn Doto didn't spare from his attention, forcing Aoi to come along and investigate with him. Obviously he read faster than she did so she spent the time looking around the deserted building and noticed like many others that there wasn't much of an audience around, something she wasn't quite used to. As such, she had a pretty negative vibe as Haruka did, but it would be quickly overwhelmed by her desire to actually grab something to eat. Her tummy growled.

"Ahhh~ I need a snack, I'll be right back after finding my room!"

She had released Doto as he headed to his room and charged in her own so finally sit on something comfy that wasn't Doto's bumpy behind. She noticed soup just as Rin had apparently, her curiosity pushing to to sniff it out and question its presence. It was still hot, which was kind of weird given... No one was around? Aoi's little brain started to work, mostly because she was hungry and really wanted to choose the best option as quick as possible. Plus her ninja instincts were tingling just as Haruka's did. Where the heck was the staff to grab all their heavy stuff if they had the time to warm all of these homemade soups? She asked herself. Quickly she shrugged off that feeling and simply pulled out a cereal bar out of her sleeve, devouring it shortly after. The bowl of soup was left on the little table in the middle of her room, just staying there like some taboo idol no one was to touch.

She quickly grew bored though as she wanted to finish this mission quickly to get back to her normal daily job, but it was obviously going to take a little longer than that. These didn't feel like Genin missions at all. Walking out of her room, she'd skip through the corridor leading to the other rooms, pressing her ear against the Genins' to hear if everything was alright. First was Doto who was slurping down the soup and still making a fuss about things. He seemed alright so she didn't worry about him. Next was Rin, doing the same eavesdropping as before, she heard the girl moving around to lay down on her bed and slowly make little to no noise. Aoi assumed she was sleeping and didn't investigate any further, after all they did walk a long way. She'd head back toward the stairs leading to the corridor.

"Oi! Haruka, Daiki! In my room in five!"

She'd announce loud enough to be heard. She wanted to gather her colleagues of the same rank to discuss what they were going to do as preparations as well as give their thoughts on the current situation. She could tell that there'd be some suspicious given Haruka's caution, she'd want to know what would be Daiki's feeling.

Fujitora Choko ; The Overseer

It had been a hard two weeks on Fujitora, as Jonin commander he had the obligation to intervene in such bloodbaths, especially if it concerned the upper class of Konoha. His subordinates has supposedly recovered something from his previous lead, but he was not to analyze them by himself due to the item's class as a valuable historical novelty. His research team would handle it instead, while he enjoyed pictures of the object. But recently he was more occupied handling interrogations and the general public than the depths of the case itself. It wasn't like he was the leading detective on the case though so he didn't feel bad about it. On this current day, he was working on various paperwork concerning the many complaints from X person living in the outskirts concerning Jonin activity. They had to close off a few areas due to odd tags spread that looks a little too similar to the tattoos they had found on all these goons at the warehouse. Speaking of which, the autopsies revealed the same death seal on each with the exception of the redhead mercenary they had not yet identified. There wasn't much else to lead on since they were all dead or escaped.

As he was nearing his lunch break, he received a text from a very special someone. It as Ayame, his darling sister he had a very intriguing relationship with, going beyond the typical sibling feud a they considered themselves best friends ever since she reached her teens. Then again the age gap between the two made it a lot easier for them to get along. The text held a typical invite to eat, which was actually quite normal of her to ask since they were the best friends in the world and all. But as happy as he was to have an excuse to eat somewhere, the last bit just pulled a nerve. Though not smoking drugs didn't bother him that much if it was in public places or whatever, but the fact that she explicitly asked him as if she was expecting him to be an embarrassment just annoyed him. It was almost provocative of he really, which prompted him to respond with a whole lot of maturity. In one of his drawers he pulled out a little bag before snickering alone in his office.

The lady said in ten minutes and in ten minutes he was. As Sentou and her friend walked out of the restaurant, they could notice Fujitora dressed with his normal attire, but this time with a top hat, a pair of sunglasses and a false mustache. Yes he was going to push this to ridiculous levels of un-funniness just to annoy his sister for trying to boss him around. He'd wave at the youngsters with a silly smile on his face.

"Hey there kiddos, hope you all had a good meal."

He said nicely, and loud enough to be heard by Ayame, before entering through the door they were leaving from and walking up to the table she had taken for both of them. His silly smile wasn't gone, it was actually staying there as a means to get a reaction from her and gain a petty victory over her before smoking a cigarette.

"Mademoiselle Choko, fancy meeting you here, aha~ I must say I am having such a dandy day today, m'hm~ What good wind brings you here, hmmmm?"

He had asked her with the most over the top voice possible to imitate a classy gentleman and of course trying his best to shame her in front of all the people enjoying their meals. This would be even more funny when they'd notice that she was the Hokage's assistant having a talk with some very obnoxious weirdo that was her brother. He'd eventually take them off, though, as there was probably a reason as to why she was last minuting this meeting. He was ready to speak seriously with her, but the force of habit would inevitably cause him to screw around with literally anything as long as there wasn't one of his work colleagues around.

Aoi Don Maquia

Her life choice of gabbing onto Doto's back would prove to be a rather bumpy one as the boy's movement were akin to a bull's during a rodeo competition. Luckily for Aoi, she glued her legs on his shirt, preventing a dramatic fall as he'd carelessly move around. He was whining about how it was hurting his back to carry her, but she didn't mind it too much for it was all going to be blamed on training or something synonymous to that. Haruka didn't really express any concern about her actions and simply stated obvious facts about things while Daiki looked as exasperated as ever. But with a stroke of fortune, Dotorame expressed acceptance and enthusiasm toward the actions of the young girl riding his back. She mockingly shrugged as she looked at Daiki, pointing at Doto's head as he stated his satisfaction toward the "training" she was giving him.

"Hey, you heard the boy! This is to reinforce him as a shinobi!"

She pulled her tongue out at Daiki, Doto being unable to see it as she clearly expressed her little devilish schemes right at the redhead's face while he couldn't do much about it. Now the position of leader came back to her mind and she came to realize she had another one to babysit, a much tougher crowd than Dotorame would be. Rin, the freezing slut girl every girl and their mother knew about and gossiped over behind her back as would most teenage girls. Aoi was a level above her, so she didn't get the juicy details about her yet, but she expected some nasty stuff.

"Heeeellllooooo Rin, right?! We have a special and very well paid mission we gotta do! Of course you're being paid the great experience of working with experienced Chuunin~"

She'd jokingly say to keep her fellow Chuunin humored and the little Genin on edge, but she was evidently bluffing as regulations didn't allow for such fraud. She did however lift her finger upward to the level of her cheek, indicating she was going to add something to it, a little catch to keep things interesting.

"BUT! If Doto here can keep a regular footing and we reach the meeting point under two hours... I'll reconsider the split! And... I'll teach you a new move Doto!"

She teasingly add, of course the first part being prompted by the boy's random streak of pushups. She didn't like bumpy rides too much and she sure as hell wouldn't let the boy off her little training session to better prepare him for the hardships of the shinobi life!

"Now... Let's go guys! We have some creepy stalker to neuter!"
