Adelisa shouted at Archeron, who was still gettin ready, "I'll cover for you!" Archeron, still in the shower, said back "thanks! I'll be out in a second!" She rolled her eyes and muttered to herself "more like an hour" before grabbing her purse and walking out of the house. A small smile appeared on her lips as she walked to where Archeron and her worked: the local animal shelter. It was Archeron's idea, but she was all too happy to oblige. It wasn't that far, seeing as they didn't need a car in the small town unless one went to the beach. She was not one to go to the beach, but Archeron would go a lot of the time. As she neared the shelter, she past a cafe, a library, a restaurant, and a set of homes until she finally saw the large Animal Care and Control Center sign in the front. Upon her entry into the parking lot, Adelisa noticed something was off. The animals were howling mournfully, showing signs of trouble ahead. Her walk turned into a sprint when she noticed the noise. As she ran into the center, she saw the concerned looks of the citizens. A heavy-set elderly woman with a sleeve tattoo came up to her in her large uniform, her name being Mary. Adelisa called her spitfire. "Listen, barbie doll, you need to calm those dogs down before I get slapped for a complaint and I end up getting arrested for assault on said complainer." Adelisa grinned and nodded, saying "ma'am yes ma'am!" Spirfire grinned and said "have fun! Where's pretty boy?" Adelisa smiled softly. "He's gonna be late. He had to go help his friend fix his car." Spirfire rolled her eyes and said "inthat boy actually came to work early that would be the miracle of a century." Adelisa laughed and said "he's good for it though." Spitfire nodded before going back into hustle mode. "I'll get some volunteers to help you." Adelisa nodded, both of them silently agreeing to run to where they needed to be. Adelisa sprinted off to where the dogs were held, her keys jangling against her bag made the dogs bark at her. I could really use some help right about now, Archeron! she thought, hoping for it to send to Archeron but knowing it probably wouldn't.
Thank you! @ShadowVentus
Adelisa groaned when her alarm went off and she rolled over to look at her phone. What day was it? Oh shoot! We're late! Adelisa shot out of bed like a bullet and ran into her brother's room, not realizing her brother had friends over. "Over on your left, Jake! Left!" Adelisa glared at Archeron and walked over to the TV, unplugging the game system. Archeron, 'Jake', and his two other friends looked at her with either a glare or an incredulous look. Then, realizing she was in boy short pjs and a tank top, Archeron's friends stared at her. She rolled her eyes and said "take a picture, it'll last longer. Archeron! Can I talk to you in the hall privately please?" Archeron rolled his eyes and got up from his seat, walking over to her. "What?!" he angrily said. Adelisa put her hands on her hips and her eyebrow rose. "Do NOT talk to me like that, Archeron, or I'll tell all your little buddies in there your middle name." Archeron huffed and said "what?" in a softer tone. She smirked and said "did you forget today?" He shrugged and she said "we've got to go to work!" Archeron's eyes widened and he said "crap! Not again!" He ran into his room at the same time Adelisa ran into hers, Archeron kicking his friends out of the house so he can get ready and Adelisa getting ready.
Adelisa rolled her eyes at his joke and giggled softly, not taking any offense to the joke. "If only you knew. Let's just say, you were not the only one having a go at some rogues." She stood to her feet and nodded. "I hope that my doing so wouldn't be a bad gesture on my part, but as you can tell I'll take what I can get." She did a little mock curtsey and said "pleasure doing business with you, sir" before following a woman guiding her to the bathroom upstairs. As she climbed the stairs she heard the woman say "do you have any clothes with you?" Adelisa almost giggled at that, but shook her head instead. "No, my clothes are gone. These are the only things I have left." The woman nodded and said "well, since you are helping Sir Alistair, I think I can give you something of mine. Do you like dresses?" Adelisa laughed. Hard. The waitress smiled and said "well, that answered my question. I'll just give you some jeans and a t-shirt." Adelisa slowly stopped laughing and said softly "thank you." The waitress shook her head and said "do not get used to it. Once this is over with, you will not come back. Expect it." Adelisa smiled wider. "Trust me, I do expect it." The woman gave her a weird look as they stopped in the hallway in front of a door, the waitress opening it. Adelisa entered the bathroom and shut the door, locking it out of instinct of distrust. She stripped down and turned the shower on, smiling when as the water slowly turned warm on her hand. She dared not look into the mirror. She hated mirrors. She stepped into the shower with a soft smile. She looked down as the waste washed off of her, turning the water pitch black. She heard the door knob move and she heard a female voice say "I have your clothes, no need to lock the door." Adelisa stepped out and unlocked the door, quickly jumping back into the shower before the woman saw. She waited until the woman left for her wash her hair and step out. She noticed a soft blue tank top, a pair of black jeans, socks, and a towel. She looked at the tank top with wide eyes. That... exposed too much. Her arms were filled with scars, two large ones on each arm; so why would she want to wear it? I have nothing else... she thought. She slipped into the clothes with hesitance and then looked into the mirror. Her hair, unable to be cut, went all the way down to the lower parts of her thighs, was shiny and clean. Her skin was clear of dirt and her scars litered her pale skin. She sighed defeatedly.
Awesome! Now, we wait for Gingerboi!
Done ^~^
I can make a male only if no one else wants too. I don't mind.
Adelisa nodded slightly, curiosity enveloped her as she said "well, we should wait until sun down. Your men and women would probably appreciate that too." She looked over at the clock and that's when it hit her: where was she going to go? She no longer had her little shack let along the money she had or her mother's things. She had nothing and no where. She knew that that was his plan. She knew he was setting her up to fail. "You are quite lucky, Mr. Alastair. Quite lucky indeed" she murmured to herself. Then she glanced at Alastair for a moment and grinned slightly. "I'm surprised you haven't reacted to how I know of you and your rivals." She looked him over, his clean clothes and nicely trimmed hair showed all signs of living lavishly. In fact, she noticed everyone who worked under him lived quite fortunate. "Extremely lucky" she whispered under her breath as she looked around the bar. She felt like a dirty sock in this place, but she didn't mind. She scratched at her cheek that marred dried blood and flaking skin, showing how fast it healed and the mark it left behind on her. She knew she wasn't going to get used to helping a family that actually survived long enough to take in her warning, but it was a stretch.
I can make another character if Calla doesn't want too. But only IF. I don't want this RP to be uneven.
Awesome sauce! I'm good with the pairings. Alright, I take it since these rose children are sacrifices, will they be went off to all of the creatures' houses in the opening post(s)? If that's the case, then I REALLY feel like drawing out Naoto's front door. For some reason I have every detail of his front door planned out in my head. A little cabin in the woods, with a small porch. The door has a tiny sliver of a winder on the left side, just enough to get a quick glance who's outside. The door swings open to the right, inwards. On the left is a hand-made rack for storing certain objects. The first one on the rack is an axe. The next three spots are empty. The next spot is a shotgun, and the last being where the shotgun is usually... but, for spoilers sake, I'm not saying what's there right now. ;) Oh, not as many details as I thought. Hmm, not even sure I could draw that even. I'm having a hard time visualizing exactly where each line for the weapon rack would go to give it a nice 3d effect from a standpoint inside the house.... Wish I knew someone who could draw. lol
Yes. That's exactly what was going to happen.
