Hmm cant believe I'm the first, but I'm definitely interested
Ludwig Von Gravenheim Krauste

Bar, Miyama Town

He was about to announce himself to this valiant goddess before him, excitement and giddiness taking over, his nerves and doubts about this war were quickly turning to hope and ambition. With a servant like this, he was almost guaranteed a ticket to survival. Dressed in a shirt and tie, silk gloves on his hands and smart shoes on his feet, he really was the definition of a magus who was not cocky and regal. Many wore large cloaks and magnificent coats. But not him. That was a giveaway, besides the mask he looked like any normal guy around in the year 1888. "Ah my apologies! Allow me to introduce myself!"

Suddenly, he was interrupted. A small figure crashed into the bar, the bar he had specifically picked out to use as a base of operations ahd stocked up with his materials and chemicals. All of a sudden hope crumbled around him as he realised his fruitless efforts. They were found within minutes of summoning. The masked alchemist flinched and quickly turned to grab a flask from a table, folding it up and ready to pull the cork off viciously.

Then, as if she held power over this little man, Athena ordered him to remove himself from the premises. Looking at the pompadour man, he could tell he was this...thing's master. Narrowing his eyes Ludwig tried to get a gauge on this man. He'd never heard of a Japanese man with such a hair cut being involved with magecraft. Perhaps this man was not even a magus. What on earth was happening with this confounded war?? He stared at the two intruders and tightened his mask so that his mouth was completely sealed, walking towards the sake barrel slowly as he observed the situation, not saying a word as the small man insulted and absconded with impressive speed.

After this whole fiasco was over, wide eyed and his hair a mess from him grabbing his head, he turned to Athena with a start. "I-I am quite sorry! I had no idea how easy it was to be located with such powerful magic, I" finally he began to compose himself and adjusted his tie. "Where was I.." He opened his mask again and took another swig of alcohol. perhaps that would help this manic day be over with, and for them to get to know each other. "My name is Ludwig Von Gravenheim Krauste, I am an alchemist descending from Germany" He did his own little bow and looked around again.

"Forgive me for my mind, but I believe we may have to relocate..I would prefer the enemy was not at our doorstep"

Ludwig Von Groveheim Krauste

Japan was never on the list of places he needed to be in before he died. yes he had heard of the majesty of it's landscape and the properties of some of the artefacts and herbs there. Yet, it had never drawn him there. Perhaps it was the rustic nature and the fact that they held such a past of conflict and ever changing culture.

Truth be told he did enjoy the atmosphere, although that didn't change the fact that foreign disease was around him. In any other scenario he would not even come here, he would send out for someone to visit for him. yet here he was, the heir to the Krauste family was here in person. No one else would dare enter this war, the rest of the familyw as convinced it was a death sentence. Hence why he was here. They needed to put him in a situation where he could prove himself or not. if this didn't go well, the family wouldn't have to worry about him anymore. So, success was a must.

In any other scenario, he would have had every thing already planned, every scenario and singularity in his mind would've been added up and planned for. Everything would have been predetermined. But without any guarantee who he would behold to be his ally...well he couldn;'t decide.

Legs crossed and head in his hands, he sat atop an old chair within an old bar. None of the residents were there anymore, he had booked this place out after his grandfather had paid the owners to find somewhere else to be located. Around him were some hastily set up conical glasses full of liquids and in the middle of the room was the symbols drawn in a dark crimson liquid some would connect to blood, yet Ludwig would say it was a chemical.

"Fill Fill Fil.." he muttered the incantation, eyes wide and set on the floor, beads of sweat on his forehead. he couldn;t afford to mess this one up. Around the room were variations of alcohol, just in case his servant was one who enjoyed the activities of drowning ones sorrows with liquids.

A mask over his mouth. Ludwig chanted it more and more. "-Arrive from the ring of deterrence, keeper of the balance!" he called out and watched as the symbols glowed.

So this was what destiny and ruin looked like.

Felix nodded to himself, still alone in the room as he glanced around, his eye still shifty and suspicious of anything going on around him that he could no longer see due to his more restricted peripheral vision. He couldn't help but crack a smile on his face as he thought about the fact he wasn't indebt for once. It was nice to not have caused the chaos and even though he had, it was him who had taken a toll for it. Riley and Marc had had history with the girl, it could've ended worse for them than it did for Felix.

"Sure let's call it even" He joked with a light chuckle before wincing in pain and resuming the conversation. "I'll drop you a call if anything comes up, sure i'll be fine for now though, while i'm staying here I'm supposed to be safe" He went silent on that for a second, feeling like he was lying to himself. "I'll catch you later Riley, Ciao"

He pressed end call and laid back on the bed, dropping the phone to his side. Everything was fine, he'd messed up but he'd get over that and make up for the mess he'd made.

Felix actually let himself chuckle bashfully, it was low and sharp, inhaling quickly and stopping himself before it hurt too much. After finally getting through to the correct Police Department he had contacted someone he had already met before, someone who had already experienced the same levels of chaos and unprecedented conspiracy that he had. He hoped that to her at least he didn't sound like a raving loony. He could only hope, right now he had to make sure everything that needed done was done and after that he could worry about his reputation and the state of it at this point.

"My apartment's 3B, no roommate right now and I had given it a good clean before I left, so it's organised and not a mess,
at least it should be"
He replied, tapping his finger on the phone rhythmically now, trying to keep focused on the call. "Again, thank you so much Riley, I owe you one"

he fell silent as he recorded her number, before taking the piece of paper with it written on and folding it, slipping it under his pillow, in case one of the nurses took it away as trash. "I'll call if I need you, I'm not here to be a nuisance, I'm glad you have connections" he smirked and nodded to himself. "Plus you look like you could beat someone up with ease, especially me"

Felix clenched his jaw, feeling his muscles seize up in pain from the agony his face was still in. He tried ignoring it and unclenching his jaw and nodding with a breathy laugh. This was all just too much at this point. Isolation was annoying, the fact that the police hadn't believed a word he'd said because of his inability to be rational and patient, again was annoying. At least Riley was going to make some attempts to help keep him and the others safe.

The accident. Yes he'd heard of it. He'd come across it during his research and snooping around following the attack at the stadium. Funny that, Riley had had a nasty accident too. "I know about that accident, when I was finding out more and more it came up. In my room in my second top desk drawer you'll find a multi-sided object. I don't know what it is but it sticks out like a sore thumb in that jumble of writing supplies. I personally think it's either something to be kept safe or a death signal to me. Either or, whoever sent it has other people trying to reclaim it."

He let out a grunt of pain and gasped. "Don't endanger yourself alright, I'll hang tight in here, but yeah, give me the number." He retorted, reclaiming his pen and notepad from where he had placed it.
