That's because they're not good guys. They enforcers of the law and keepers of the peace even if it means being the 'bad guy'. It makes them really easy to hate.

I love how we have multiple stories going on now.
It would be odd if, somehow, everyone's character ended up connected to each other at the start. Hopefully Lark's story wont end abruptly when Gellert breaks his limbs

Normally my active hours is in the middle of the night because I work only closing shifts all week every week.

You know when Gellert gets his hands on Lark--as I can't imagine him getting away from Gellert at all lol--I wonder what's in store for him. Maybe Lark will be banished from Wellborough :P
