Personality: He is a very self-confident man that could have been easily mistaken for arrogance if not backed up by his skill. Honorable as much as you can expect a man of noble birth to be. Very defensive and insecure about why he left his home Ark for Honshu. Despite this, tends to be an amicable fellow that is determined to assist humanity in reclaiming land and fighting off blood-beasts.

History: Antoine has only recently arrived to Hâncheau a few months back on one of the very rare trade ships. But he claims that he hails from a far western Ark to one of many a noble families that spent more time squabbling among themselves on how the Ark should be run, rather than actually running the Ark. He says that his mother was a rare breed of noble that was a proud boisterous woman but actually had the skill and work ethic to back her words up. Same cannot be said for his father who was a cold distant man that was more fond of drinking and gambling the family's funds away than to serve a day of work; claiming that he could hire others to do his work for him.

Said to have lived his life to an almost facsimile of luxury thanks to his mother, but as he grew older he wanted more in life and trained himself to be a hunter; much to the chagrin of his mother who wanted him in a safer professional field. But his mind was set and lo and behold years later he'd become quite a skilled hunter.

Motivations & Aspirations: He fights monsters while helping humanity and gets paid for it. What's there not to like? But he does aspire to the first one to discover the biggest and meanest blood-beast of all time and kill it.

Skills/Talents:
[Crack Shot] - Won't be shooting any fly's wings off by any chance but can pop a Crimsling in the eye from 25 yards no problem.
[Axe Fighter] - Would rather keep nasty beasties at a distance but his axemanship is nothing to sneeze at.
[Quick Reflexes] - He can't remember how many times his reflexes has saved him from getting killed.

Equipment of Note:
Sylvette: A reliable six-shot lever-action rifle of unusual make that uses the 8mm rifle rounds of the Lévesque Modèle 91. The stock has a built in axe to assist in dispatching ornery foes that get too close for comfort.

[Bonds]: Eris C. Stoney (A woman with Mediterranean heritage that was his Highschool sweetheart and later on his wife), Randall W. Dash (An extroverted Asian-American man that has been best friends with Franklin since he adopted him to his friend group back in Middle School.) Uncle Tom Stoney (The one responsible for saving Franklin. A tall but rotund man that worked overseas as a civil engineer.)

[Character Flaws (may be self-perceived)]: Low self-confidence causes him to doubt his decisions and regularly berate himself for mistakes; even insignificant ones. He has terminal insomnia and usually wakes up earlier than needed but is incapable of going back to sleep.

[How and why did your character get to Silent Hill]: Franklin, after having a discussion turn into a heated argument with Eris, drives off in an unusual anger from their suburban home in Brahms. A couple hours into the drive, he arrives to an observation deck overlooking Toluca Lake and it's towns. Despite having no business in the area, an unknown force drew him closer and closer to the town of Silent Hill.

[Bio]: Most folk would pass by Franklin and consider him to be one of the dime a dozen nobodies they've seen countless times in their life. But he's had one helluva fiasco of an excuse of a childhood. How could they? To them he was just another random nobody they'll likely never see again.

Franklin was born as the only child of Marcus Stoney, a renowned and skilled doctor, and Alexis Stoney, a frail but adventurous and nature loving woman. For a good majority of his childhood it was relatively normal, but when he was 8 years old his mother got sick with an incurable disease. It became his father's obsession to try save his wife at any cost. In this dark time, Franklin's only solace was his pets. No matter how good a doctor his father was, he was still human and failed to save his wife, leading him to alcohol abuse and to resent young Franklin.

Franklin didn't understand why it was his fault. Just that it was. His father yelled at him daily, berated him for every little mistake the boy made. If he spoke up against his father or tried to fight back, he'd be beaten and locked into a musty closet for the rest of the day. Killing his pets, and sometimes making the boy kill them himself whenever his father 'felt' like he deserved more punishment after being locked in the closet. Swearing that if Franklin ever tried to tell the police or his other relatives, he'd lock him in the closet and throw away the key. This happened for two more years until his father made a mistake.

His uncle Tom recently came back from working abroad and made an impromptu visit to his brother and nephew. His father had passed out from the night's drinking and uncle Tom, being family and all, let himself in. Uncle Tom found Franklin in the closet and called the cops on his brother...no...whatever monster that was pretending to be his brother. Ten minutes later, his father was arrested and the nightmare was over. Uncle Tom adopted him and moved far away from his old home. To Brahms where he could begin again.

But the suffering never stopped. His shy and meek personality caused him to become the prime target for bullying. But another righteous soul saved him. Randall W. Dash. School life became unbelievably bearable with Randy around. He was Franklin's rock in school. Even helped him get together with Eris in the later years. Got a degree and everything for him to have a normal adult life. Things were going well.

Then his father died and Eris and him got into an argument weather or not they should attend the funeral service and if he was allowed to be buried alongside his wife.

Standing at a slightly above average 5'8, Franklin is not an individual that stands out in a crowd. Not that he wants to anyway. He wears a simple green windbreaker over his usual sleeping attire; a simple white t-shirt with grey jogging pants and a pair of slippers that resemble bass.

Eh Sure.
The axe stock is as comfortable as any other wooden stock reinforced with metal. Just don't go dropping it or we'll be missing toes left and right.

Reason why he came all this way is because everyone in his family but him is gone. He wronged some powerful families and they did not take it lying down. So it was a choice to join his family's unmarked mass grave or skip town and head to the farthest Ark possible.
