I'll post tonight or tomorrow definitely (assuming I haven't been kicked out). My computer has been absent because someone needed to see it to fix its USB.
As it turns out, Krystanthe's cue was unneeded, as Sepia was genuinely smitten with the adorable little kittens. "They're so cute!" she giggled, petting the kitty on its head. Privately, however, she wondered how this was ethical, or even possible for that matter. Still, she replied in a purr, her voice dropping from innocent to something else quickly. "It'd be a pleasure to know you. My parents always try to set me up with boys of...equal status, but you seem different. Interesting." She smiled at them sweetly, her eyes half-closed.

"So, tea?"
North flinched when the Lupa mentioned her, but responded anyway. "Um, yes-s ma'am. It's North." she rubbed the side of her arm nervously. "And how do we do that?" She was hesitant to display any sort of incompetence, as it had gotten her in trouble in the past, but she figured that knowing exactly how to do this kind of thing was a necessity. When it came to matters of death and respect, making a mistake could be much worse than just asking for help. "I'm not really even officially part of this pack, so why is she asking me anyway? I would've thought that this would be against some sort of tradition." she sighed. "At least I can be of some help."
By the way guys, how do you like Skyra's battle outfit?
It took a good while to find a good one XD

You have inspired me. I had to find one for my own character. Just. Had. To.
"Oh, anyone's fine with me." Sepia said excitedly. She was fairly sure that nothing would get her spirits down on her first mission, so it seemed like a good idea to take advantage of that and be easy to get along with. Combined with the fact that any of these people could be potential friends, it would have been hard to choose anyway. "Who do you want to go with, team leader?" she asked Krystanthe. "You're in charge here." A sudden thought seemed to cross her mind. "Shouldn't we try to be tactical as well?"
Yeah. I'm not really sure what's going on with KESS at the moment.
My character will probably stay.
As North neared the kitchen, it became apparent that many others had already gathered there. She focused on their voices, trying to pick out the woman who'd helped her earlier. It was going to be difficult to find her if she wasn't in the kitchen, as North had just realized that she didn't know her name. She regretted not taking a closer look at the note, as it may have been signed, but then again she probably wouldn't have been able to read it anyway. Just figuring out where to go was difficult enough. "I should probably devote some time to learning the skills of civilization - including walking on two legs." Making it down the stairs had been reasonably easy, but she was pretty sure that any attempt at something more advanced would end up with her falling on her face.

North edged just barely into the kitchen, keeping her back pressed against the wall and trying to blend in."So...many...people." she whimpered nervously.

North rolled over, trying to block out the light beaming down on her face oppressively. With a slight huff, she reached up and rubbed her eyes, noticing as she did so that the backs of her front feet felt strangely smooth - and that she could move them that way at all. With a small catch in her throat, she slowly opened her eyes. Small hands greeted her; shaky and thin, but most importantly clad only in pale, cold skin. Sitting up in shock, it came to her attention that she was quite cold. This, she noted with a blush that brought a hint of color to her previously washed-out cheeks, was probably because she wasn't wearing anything.

Scanning the room, North quickly noticed the clothes that (she assumed) Sasha had brought her. She slid out of bed and knelt down, looking for something that would provide her with the coverage that she was used to. After putting on the necessary undergarments, she settled on a black V-necked sweater, a red cami, a red skirt cut right above the knee, and black leggings. Once she deemed herself presentable, she headed down to the kitchen mentioned in Sasha's note.
"Put it to sleep...like using a lullaby." North thought back to when she'd been a child, and after particularly difficult days, her mother would sing to her. She could still remember her mother's voice, rough and strained during the day, but at night had an unexpected sweetness to it. Her room would be dark and warm, and during the summer, crickets would fill the empty space between words with their own songs. In the winter, a fire would captivate her with its crackling pops and snaps instead. Allowing herself to remember what she'd felt - a soft haze of contentment, security, but most importantly affection - while reciting the verses brought a wave of bitter, smiling regret crashing down.

"You would have hated her if you'd known ay different, so why should your memories be fond?" Maybe it was gratitude, the desire of love in return, or even just hormones and chemicals, but North found that her one human tie to the world was the only thing that would bring her back.

Wandering child of the earth
Do you know just how much you're worth?
You have walked this path since your birth
You were destined for more

Sighing softly, the young wolf felt her heavy eyelids close in sleep, unaware that she was now a small girl curled up on the floor.
