@AlicePleasanceLiddell My dear, this is not the roleplay I was speaking of hehe. This is a place to collaborate and share ideas on tabletop game settings and such.

Would you like the link to my fantasy thread?
There we have it, our first player post. Thank you.
:)
@Grifter How far can I stretch this? Wolf? Or maybe war dog? If not those then a hawk would be nice.
@Grifter Animal companion a possibility?
Gargan Eklund
'The Shadow'

Age:
24

Gender:
Male

Rank:
Scout

Personality:
Gargan is a mute. As such he is not the most social or talkative of any group, be it around a fire or among a patrol. He speaks through facial expression, deep guttural grunts and the occasional pointing of finger or steely glare. He very rarely shows emotion no matter the situation, in fact emotion could be argued to be the most lacking part of his personality.

Appearance:
Strong and slender, Gargan has lean muscles and very little fat beneath his light earth colored armor. He could appear skinny to some, but this would be a dangerous presumption to make. His hair is an abyss of blackness carved into a meandering stream surrounded by emptiness and smooth scalp. The cowl of Gargan's clothing is almost always up and hiding his neatly kept beard of equal darkness. When he eats, however, the cowl is removed and the many scars leading to his mouth, as streets do to a village center, are revealed.

Picture:

Weapons:
Bow and arrows, Twin dirks.

History:
It is said that Gargan is the sole survivor of a sorry village raided by its foes, the buildings burnt and the people slaughtered. They say he was found by travelling merchants, not much older than a babe, sprawled among the crimson blood and dying embers, sickeningly silent. When the merchants approached they noticed that this child was hurt, its mouth bloodied and tore.

The tongue had been cut from his mouth, the knife used showing no mercy in its movements, leaving cuts and wounds as it went. He was clutched tightly to his mothers cold corpse, one hand around her limp thumb and the other rested upon the bow she had evidently tried to use against an intruder. The story goes it took them many attempts to pull him from where he rested among the remains of his past, and when he finally did he refused to let go of the bow.

In the coming years he was taught how to speak - or rather listen - fight and hunt by the pelt and meat trader. It is said he was lost then, after having been rescued, and continued his life among the wilderness until he came across a village that suited him.

Skills:
Scouting
Animal handling
Archery

Weaknesses:
Fondness of children
Mute
How sounds a keen eyed scout with minimal armor and a finely crafted bow?

EDIT: Proposed appearance - pre11.deviantart.net/3f2e/th/pre/i/201..
@The Harbinger of Ferocity An approach I approve of friend.

Once we are on our feet and moving I will begin to act as both the, for lack of a better word/phrase, NPC's and the world in general. Events and consequence of action will begin to be woven into your characters lives. Unless anyone is adverse to this, then I will reconsider.
@The Harbinger of Ferocity@King Tai Accepted, although this is a jump in thread, my appreciation of such sheets is invaluable when it comes to the RP itself. Many thanks to you all.
@xxrhoo@TaroMaster4

PS: A like means an accept.
Seas are cold everywhere but along the equator before the sun rises. Take no heed of such information friend :) @The Harbinger of Ferocity
@The Harbinger of Ferocity Then I shall look forward to your character sheet. Only natural clothing if any and minimal to no weapons.
