@TheDarkTemplar ill be honest,I had no idea where you wanted to go with this kest hive, but I thought it would be confusing and mysterious to have it be connected to a nicely build hallway
Hah
As soon as the way was open, Glodin made his way to the door. Marcus' words stopped him in his tracks and he turned and smiled. "Aye, this one has some fire in 'em!" Glodin charged back in to assist his comrade in battle. He made sure to keep the blighters off the leitenant while the human took care of most of them at a distance.

Once the deed was done he watched the beasts burn a bit before following Marco, the newest templar in their group. When he stepped out he looked around only to find them in a nicely built hallway with a cave like ceiling. "This ain't no kest workings..."
Glodin watched as the two humans decimated the nearby kest workers and the hybrids. "I trust you two lads with covering my back with shots like those. Just promise me that I won't be leaving this nest with a few bolts or holes in my back!" He took point as soon as a path was clear for him and marched forward down the only visible exit besides the whole they slid down.

Glodin stomped a worker kest as he marched with a face of pure disgust. He made sure to skewer its head on his pick to make sure it was indeed dead. "Gah, I hate bugs. They are disgusting and filthy wretches. Aye lads! I see a door up ahead-" before the dwarf could finish his statement, the crashing sound of metal hitting ground came from behind them. The beasts in the cages managed to break loose. Glodin turned to the sound only to be faced with a terrifying sight of kest hybrids sprinting to him and his comrades. Glodin repositioned himself to be between his group and the abominations before them. "My turn to fight boys!" he shouted as he cocked back his arm and hurled his hammer at the approaching creatures. The hammer crashed through the chests of three of the decaying and brittle beasts before returning covered in a foul gore. Glodin prepared himself for the worst at the hands of these abominations, but one thing is for certain, he would die defending his comrades if he needed too.
@OtomostheCrazy I would have guessed Steve
He looks like a Steve
@TheDarkTemplar hey buddy, hit me up with that pm of what the groan is as I have a post prepared to find where it is
I just need to know what it is so I can react accordingly.
Alright
Let me get this this straight
So its not real butter?
I cant beleive it
Glodin had barely even begun to draw his pickaxe before he felt the ground beneath him give. The sturdy dwarf slammed his pick into the ground as he began to slide only to find his pick melt through the earth like butter. The rune worked as promised and sadly gave him no support as he slid into the depths. When he finaly reached the bottom he would have managed to land on his feet if Marcus was not in the way. Ot was the human's fault that he was stuck under a dwarf. The stocky dwarf quickly got up and looked around. "Aye lad, never toss a dwarf. No good ever comes from that. And don't worry, I'll get that torch lit in a jiffy." but before he even had time to grab the flint and torch there was a thud behind him announcing the new arrival.

Glodin turned to the intruder with pickaxe drawn expecting a fight, but was faced with another templar. Before the dwarf could ask the man introduced himself as Marco. "Alright laddie, just let me take the lead so you don't hurt yourself further. By the way, the name is Glodin Quarry of Uldgorin." Glodin turns back to Marcus and nods. "Marcus, light your torch now. And both of you just keep the lights behind me as best as you can. The light makes it hard for me to see into deeper darkness."

Glodin may not have heard the first groan, but he did hear the sound of a strong exhale coming from the same location after everything quieted down. He readied his pickaxe in his left hand and drew his hammer in his right before movinh tword the sound as quietly as he could. Sadly the dwarf wasn't one for stealth, his armor clanked and his footfalls were heavy, not to mention each step made a squishing sound in the mucus like layer of slime covering nearly everything.
@TheDarkTemplar@OtomostheCrazy
I do apologize for my miniscule post, I normally post more as you have seen. I don't plan on doing it again.
Glodin put out the flames of the forge then donned his armor. He grabbed his hammer and pick, placing the hammer on his belt and his pick on his back. "Alright lad, lets set out. I'd like to see your magic cannon there in action before the day is through." He adjusted his gauntlets and belt before motioning for Marcus to take the lead.
