Cesidia grins and kisses him. "I know. How much farther?"
Cesidia sighs. "You know what I mean. He's going to pay."
Marin carefully gets up and starts to cook some food.
Cesidia grins. "We're not stopping at his city. I want to give him a fate worse than death. He can't mess with the princess, not while I'm alive."
Cesidia looks up at him. The fire in her eyes is unlike his in that it's not a real flame. It is a light of passion and emotion burning in her eyes, promising death to anyone who stands in her way. "Then we'll just have to work on that, won't we?"
Cesidia frowns and lays her head on his shoulder. "No, it's not." A fire flickers in her eyes.
Cesidia sighs. "I don't know, but I'm getting really pissed off."
Several hours later, Marin wakes up and stretches. She smiles softly at Eric, then carefully gets off of him.
Marin kisses his neck gently and falls asleep.
