Cesidia blushes faintly and smiles. "I love you too." She sighs happily and plays with his horns. "If everyone could just see you for the sweet, troubled man that you are then maybe there wouldn't be so many problems between demons and humans."

Elena frowns. "Shh." She keeps reading then yelps and wipes her hand on his shirt. "Nasty! And if you must know I have an addiction to salt and pepper chips, thanks to the god in my brain."

Cesidia kisses him back and raises her eyebrows slightly, taken aback. "Oh uh well... don't be ashamed of it next time. You can't help how you were raised. I know you'll be an amazing father so I don't have to worry about that..." she shrugs. "I can't think of anything. I'm happy, truly happy."

Elena chuckles and covers his mouth with her hand. "He has to sound like a steamship," she mutters.

Ren smirks. "Sure. You don't even smoke."

Angelica smiles. "I've met some kids of Pluto with similar powers, and I didn't see you at Camp Jupiter so I put two and two together."

Cesidia hugs him back. "Thank you. I'm sorry your childhood was... lacking. I want to make a new world with you, one where we're both happy. Not a demon and a human, but two people in love. I'll give you time to adjust, I'm not used to having a man to love. We can get used to it together."

Elena glances up and when she sees he's asleep mutters to herself as she reads.

Ren rolls her eyes and grins. "Nobody likes a show-off, fire boy."

Angelica shrugs. "It's cool. Hades?"

"Whatever for? I just put my heart on my sleeve despite what everyone else has been saying and I put myself out there to be left hanging. No big deal." Cesidia doesn't look at him. She takes a deep breath as she looks out at the kingdom. "No, really it's fine. I just... if you don't love me then what are we doing?"

Elena returns with armloads of books and she sits by Quentin. She pushes her glasses up her nose and starts to read, mouthing to herself.

Ren gestures to Mike. "Ninja boy gets it."

Angelica raises her eyebrows. "Well, that was weird."
