Delia sighs, getting irritated and impatient. She checks everything that's in her bag when the door slams open. A tall man in a ski mask and all-black starts yelling and pointing a Glock at a heavyset man called John, "You! You work here, don't you?" Delia frowns and is able to sneak behind the gunman, determined to get the cash in her bag to her colleague. Unfortunately, the gunman sees her. Delia manages to kick the masked man in the groin and to stab him in the eye with a nearby knife before he shoots her. The last thing she sees before she blacks out is a winged woman.

Elena gasps softly when she feels something wet through her shirt. She realizes he's crying and she holds him tightly. Without realizing, she starts to cry as well.

Ren frowns. "I haven't been hiding that long. What does that have to do with dancing with me anyway?" She tries to keep the disappointment out of her voice.

Angelica shakes her head. "Nope, too easy." She extends a hand to help him up.

Hotel Valhalla

Delia gets an iced coffee and she hides behind some customers while she waits. The other girl keeps trying to inquire why she wasn't at school. Delia manages to evade the classmate until the girl's parents take her home, and Delia slides into a booth with her drink, sighing heavily. She sits close to the window and keeps her bag close to her. She takes out her burner and glances at it, then lets out a soft disgusted huff before stuffing it back into her bag. Her contact still hadn't called her back.

Elena lays her head on his shoulder and sighs softly. She smiles softly and hugs him a little tighter. "Thank you," she says softly.

Ren blushes. "Why would you want to do that?" she says quietly.

Angelica frowns. "C'mon, spar me. Please?"
