Ren blushes when he kisses her cheek. "Thank you." She looks up at the starry sky.

"Ugh, snakes." Angelica wrinkles her nose in distaste, and her eyes flare slightly as she makes them turn on each other, making them think they hate each other.

As the strange boy backs out, a winged girl comes in. Delia jumps to her feet and kicks her stuff back. The girl introduces herself as a Valkyrie and flies her to a dining hall, setting her down near the rest of the new arrivals. Delia crosses her arms as she looks around with a frown. "Valkyries aren't real. What the hell is going on?" she mutters.

Ren frowns and lets him hug her. She sighs softly. "It's a gang tattoo, marking someone as a member of a dangerous crime family. Mine's scarred because... I got kicked out. But you can't tell anyone. I lose street authority and I can't protect you if people find out what it means."

The force field nearly knocks the dagger out of Angelica's hand, but she steps back and settles into a stance.
