J.R. stands and puts her book in her bag. She stays by Theo’s side, but hangs back a little so she doesn’t seem too clingy. She looks around and huffs a little. ’Don’t worry, Jisabelle. It’s just another place. You’ll be fine,’ she tries to convince herself. “What’s being the son of Tartarus like?”

Ivy gets off of the bus. “Sorry, Artemis, but I have to go.” She leaves Arty and finds Tony. “Tony, right? Hi, I’m Ivy.”
Jonathan moves a book of myths to the bottom of his stack. “What do you like to read?”

Arthur smiles. “Got to keep my teeth squeaky clean somehow.” He picks up a cupcake and takes a big bite.
Yalanilue shrugs. “Be careful.”

Corona comes to a conclusion and sighs. “I suppose I don’t need my sight. I have you.” She smiles at Andy.
Marin frowns. “That’s not helpful.”
Yalanilue shrugs nonchalantly, and yet still deviously. “Whatever way you choose, human.”

Corona pauses, and looks at Andy. She smiles and kisses him, then hugs him. “That’s not what I’m thinking of, Andy. I was trying to remember if there’s some spell to ensure my afterlife as a ghost. Or at least gain my sight.” She frowns and starts to murmur to herself.
Ivy’s frown deepens, and she sighs. “I doubt my dad even knows. He.. wasn’t the smartest in the bunch. I just know it’s got to be my mom because this is the only thing I have of her.” She fingers her necklace, then sighs. “I have very vague memory of her, and she was never around. Somehow less than my dad.” She laughs, attempting a joke.
Yalanilue grins, a mischievous glint in her eyes. “How about we sleep together?”

Corona taps her chin. “There has to be some sort of spell.. there always is. Hm..”
Yalanilue grins. “Hell no. I’m sleeping.”

Corona smiles softly. “I will be able to see. Thank you, Sebastian.” She cuddles Andy back.
J.R. raises an eyebrow with a small grin, then stands up. She sighs a little, brushing her hair out of her face. “I’m J.R.. I’m fifteen, the daughter of Hermes, the messenger god, and I write for fun.” She sits back down, hating the attention.

Ivy bursts out laughing. “That’s hilarious! Good one. I get goat men and monsters and that shit, but there’s no way I’m the daughter of a god. Daughter of a monster I believe. Really good joke. I mean, if I was the daughter of some great goddess, that means I’ve had a mom all along right there. But that’s impossible, because she died.” Her laughter fades and her smile transitions into a frown, and she looks at Arty. “Right?” The color drains from her face as the intros start. “What the hell? Do you have another of those barf bags?”
Yalanilue shrugs. “I do. I suppose you could stay awake.”
