If Turbulence could visually convey any sort of expression that was hidden behind his visor, he would show the most baffled face ever to be expressed on all of Cybertron. Before him was what appeared to be an extraordinarily unusual mock game-show the likes he had never seen before. Wreck-Gar, the Junkion identifying himself as "show's" host, spoke as if his voice modulator was drowned in Cybertronian engex as he welcomed Prism with the other Junkions applauding as the audience.

Ignoring, or at least attempting to ignore the Junkions and their rather alien antics, Turbulence observed Prism as she interfaced with the pod; the object the scavengers had surprisingly allowed her to interact despite visually bearing claim over it earlier. But what before even more startling was the image of Kup that showed up through holographic projection. Kup informed them that their mission had reached a very critical state and advised that whatever was within the pod be secured somewhere. But from there, a gunfight began to ensue with Kup quickly vanishing before other familiar figures crowding the screen before cutting off. In was interesting to note that the Junkions around them finally fell silent as if they knew too something bad had happened.

Turbulence did not know the Autobot Sergeant all that well aside from name and mention only and never took any order directly from him either. But for a moment, he did catch Prism's surprised and then shocked expression to Kup's appearing face and almost graphic departure. Perhaps she knew him? Prism then appeared to scramble over the key pad in order to unseal the pod. Eventually, she got the right code as the hull retracted, vomiting encased gasses for who knows how long. But once the fumes dispersed, both Autobots then felt dread for the time in a long time; before them was the body of Optimus Prime.

Prism collapsed to here knees as her counterpart surly but slowly approached Prime's broken form, "Oh no..." he said under his breath, unknowingly he was still streaming the entire event.

Their leader appeared damaged beyond repair, displaying many marks from a surprising number of different weapons and instruments, all of which could of been responsible for snuffing out his Spark if that was currently the case. While physically surveying the damage, Turbulence noticed Optimus Prime's chest panels felt loose, almost buoyant, as if they were not locked down to his chassis as it should of been. Suddenly, a sense of urgency had befallen the Autobot as he quickly determined what was kept locked away within Prime himself that all Autobots revered the most and acknowledged.

"Prism," he began, sounding very worried in the process, "I need help opening his chest cavity; its loose."
okay, lore drop time, just to everyone is on the same page here.

The autobots used the last space bridge to escape to earth, shutting it off just as they came through the other side. Meanwhile the decepticons were still in rush mode, and couldn't get to the bridge in time. So, unfortunately, they had to make their journey manually. The autobots hid on earth for a helluva long time, staying as low beneath the radar as possible and using up small amounts of the earth's energon reserves before the decepticons came. Then, well, the decpeticons came.

Wouldn't that like literally retcon my intro post? =/
@ShiningSectorto this day, I still cannot believe that Weird Al's Dare to be stupid was in the first transformers movie. If that were me, I'd still be talking about this song and it's involvement in the movie until I'd die.

The Transformers movie soundtrack is filled with artists from the time the movie was made. You had Lion doing the main theme and *squees* Stand Bush, well, being Stan Bush and others too. It was a pretty big though underdog-ish film at its time.
Turbulence maintained his distance but nevertheless, kept a guarding eye on Prism as she set out on Nighscream's suggestion to investigate and even communicate with the scavengers before them. If the Junkions proved as fanatical and hostile as Turbulence was cautiously anticipating, he would not hesitate to use his ordinance as he saw fit. Prism reverted to her Cybertronian form and slowly approached them before she had called out to them, asking to speak to whomever was in charge of this, parade.

One of the Junkions directed their attention to the Autobot and counter-questioned her with the most usually query Turbulence has ever heard; and this was the soldier who'd take ridiculous suicide runs on a cycle-by-cycle basis. Are you coo coo? The hell does that mean? thought Turbulence as he tried to piece together what in Primus' name that meant. What became worst of all was now the nearby scavengers began to perk up and repeat the same question and not a moment too soon did some of them look up and point at Turbulence's gunship form.

So far, the Junkions appeared harmless, if not completely brain-panned. With a grunt, Turbulence swooped in and transformed himself back to his sapient form, landing on the ground with a thud. Just as he landed, a small group of the scavengers approached him and asked him the same stupid like they did with Prism.

"...What she said." Turbulence replied before the assembled Junkions, not wanting to even repeat such silly dialogue coming out of their mouths and vocal speakers.
Nay! Lets be stupid!

EDIT: Will post later this evening.
Turb? The Autobot flier flew in closer around the impact site surrounded by leveled structures and disemboweled streets. While still feeding his visuals to Prism and Nightscream, he zoomed in on his optical spycam mounted on his forward gun turret, in order to fully analyze the scene. Amassed at the site were less than two dozen figures narrowing in on ground-zero. While it pleased him to see more of their kind on a desolate society devoid Cybertron, the Crybertronian-shaped entities' behavior however came off as unusual.

The scavengers, as Turbulence assumed them to be, appeared to be focused on some sort of rounded object embedded at at the point of impact. It was surprising how much damage the object had produced given its smaller size though in all fairness, it was still larger than either he or Prism combined. The clustered group of mechanical being seemed marveled at the object and perform numerous acts Turbulence could not understand nor comprehend.

"You're not hallucinating." said Turbulence over their comms, "I spot 20...What looks to be scavangers - Junkions, surrounding some sort of of pod at the center of the crater. Doesn't look like they noticed us yet."
Travis awoke the next morning face down on his new desk. Stinging from fatigue, his eyes twitched as they slowly opened. He groaned and breathed heavily through his nostrils while stretching back in his seat, finally yawning when leaning as far back as he could. Staring back at the desk's surface, he could see plenty of work and study had been performed at a very late schedule, likely very early in the morning. Travis could vaguely remember taking his notepad to jot down a few words and translated symbols and somehow, he still didn't know how, that turned into full-fledged project. With another groan, he pinched the bridge of his nose and rubbed away and rheum that may have collected before snatching some of the graphs and detailed diagrams to at least see what he had been working on.

As he figured what is was, it was his late-night idea of another experimental rune, influenced by Artos' superb skill in ice magic. Much of the rune's structure of still incomplete but the base however contained the foundation of how the spell would engage. It was very much like his own backdraft rune; influence by scientific know-how and natural physics. This piece of work, what he guessed going by the proposed drawing, would discharge a thick surge of cryogentic fumes, likely to freeze anything almost instantaneously. Notably less explosive than his earlier work but nonetheless still, dangerously, effective. Oxygen appeared to be a main component but so did water too.

He caught a few side notes identifying the possible use of minor water magic in order to achieve the desired effects if dispersed H2O particles could not be produced through the spell. Interestingly enough, there was a side note on the side notes - he must have been very tired at the point to pull something like that - mentioning the possible use of wind magic with his backdraft rune in order to change its effects. To what end though, it did not detail.

"Coffee." Travis said allowed to himself in a demanding and unamused tone, "I need coffee."

Eventually, Travis made his way downstairs fully dressed and having already showered. Turning to through the lounge and then the kitchen, Travis could see most of everyone sitting at a large table, hosting a wide variety of breakfast assortments atop its surface. The bagels and cream cheese looked particularly appetizing and it pleased him to know there was joe and plenty of it.

"Morn'n partners," Travis declared with one of his father's enthusiastic Southern accented greetings.

It may have not been noticeable at a distance, but once he took his seat, the two small black circles under his eyes were evident enough to illustrate how well he had slept. Despite this, he did his best to maintain a cheery attitude over the clear fatigueness befallen him. Travis produced one of his own and rather large mug and placed it on table before pouring the contents of the coffee pot into it.

Just as he mixed in some creamer and surgar, Travis couldn't help but notice Felix's manadial holographically displaying what appeared to be a local news article though he personally could not make out the headlines from where he sat, "Any funnies?" he asked jokingly.

I think I may have started something...

I mentioned some backstory on Trypticon in my previous post but I did not anticipate what you had in mind for his role here so should I re-edit?

to be honest, I think that pain would be more a mental thing than anything else in regards to transformers. I remember specifically the team trainwreck comic posted on here where a little bot lost his legs or something like that, and considering that they don't seem to need their legs (or any real appendages for that matter) to function, visual stimuli would seem to be the best, if not the only way to tell if they were injured, unless, of course, the were hit in the chest or the head.

Perhaps that is one method to verify damage. We can see that Tailgate (the little bot) also had internal readouts that also informed him what was going on as well. However in that scene, we only seen the aftermath of his accidental tumble that put him in that predicament. But with your later statement, yes, Transformers do not require their limbs to function so long as their head and most of their main body remains intact.

Also, here is Starscream blowing his foot off.
