Current Cleaning day! Made a ton of progress and even found my long lost DS and my missing laundry card that still has a lot of credits on it. Found it in my winter coat of all places go figure.

Finally got into D&D. Now I feel trapped and I am in love. Should I ask for help or ask where I can get more dice?

Breaks ups are weird. Not sure how to feel about the other person, or about yourself. It hurts for sure, but it's weird and uncomfortable just how different things seem now.

@MonsieurShade
Welcome to the Colony, Watch your dog though, dogs go before people do when they are Hungry. Also enjoy the chemically filled fields of 100+ degrees green houses.
Hank screwed up, On his way back into the city he was caught in the spot light. Anything that is seen moving around the outside of the walls is Shoot on sight, This marksman was a good shot too. Hank was barely able to make it back to him home before anyone saw him bleeding through the halls. He got inside and walked over to the counter. He prayed the water was on, it rarely was and if you ran it too long it could shut down for days. He turned the lever and nothing. "Dammit!" He had some spare medical in his floor compartment, but when he got into his room it had been ransacked...everything gone...He had nothing left...

Hank fell to his knees. Still feeling the bullet in his back he winched in pain. "No...no no NO NO!" The next ration collection was in three days. No way both him and Murphy would make it till then, He had the gun, he could trade that for some rations. His pay for the job he did MIGHT cover one of them...But rent was due soon...Tomorrow to be correct.

Hank heard knocking on the door. "Colonial Military, Open up Hank." Oh shit was all Hank could think, Did they know about the smuggling's? the gun? "Hank open up or we will force our way in!" Hank the the gun back into his bag and but it down.

Hank would walk up to the door and open it trying to hide his wound. It was the district officer, this meant bad news...Very bad... "May I help you good sir?"

The District Officer looked...calm...too calm. "What were you doing outside the wall Hank?"

Hank was shocked, he didn't know what to say, or do. "What do you mean? I came home from work today, then I strolled around town looking for scraps like I always do."

The officer would force his way in putting his handgun up to Hanks Chin. "Did you know that the some of the walls have exterior cameras now? So we actually have an idea what we shoot at?"

Hank was scared now, They knew he was outside. If they didn't shoot him, he'd be whipped. Then he would still be left to treat the gunshot wound in his back. Then go back to work the next day. "I...didn't know..."

"Do you know what the punishment for what you have done is?"

Hank stayed quiet.

"YOU GET SHOT!" he'd pull the trigger but the gun would just click. "But then again, you already were. SO a whipping will do ya just fine." The officer would turn to one of the soldiers. "Make sure the post is ready by the time I am outside, Traffic hours about to start."

=========================================================================================================

Hank was tied to the wooden Poll outside his apartment, his shirt ripped off and the bullet would showing clearly. The district officer would have the whip in his hands.

"You do NOT go outside these walls with out my say so. You do NOT lie about it. We wouldn't want to risk another outbreak inside the walls again now would we?" He would turn to Hank. "Now, you suffered quiet a bit, we may let you off easy. In exchange for a change of work detail. The coal mines always need more hands Hank. What do ya say?"

The coal mines, Miles outside the walls, If he even found a way to survive it he would be gone for weeks at a time, getting paid worse then what he's paid now. Probably with the bullet in his back still. The chances of him making it back were next to nothing. Who would look after Murphy? She claims to be able to fend for her self but even if she does find a way to pay her own way No one will rent to her, she can't get her own ID, so next update she wont be able to pick up rations..."Fuck...You..." Hank would say low of breath, and blood.

The district officer would frown. "Too bad, I think you would have fit in well their, outside the walls." With out warning the whipping began. Blood flying in each swing.
Bum Bum Bum, Though maybe by some fortunate set of events Hank will get saved by a random wood chipper falling from the sky?

(And yes I am starting to obsess over the wood chipper.)
Name: Hunter Mornoe

Age: 18

Gender/Sex: Male

Survivor

IF SURVIVOR, LIST SPECIALIZATION: Hunter has worked with Electrical engineering most his life. He also has experience with firearms.

Appearance: Hunter stands 6'2" with brown curly and burnt hair. his eyes are also brown and he tends to wear tinted goggles to protect from both sand and electrical accidents. His body is lined with scares from multiple fights and other electrical and mechanical accidents. He wears a T-shirt, an open wind breaker, and carpenter jeans.

Bio: Hunter was raised to survive, he learned to shoot from his cousin Emanuel. He was also encouraged to learn other skills that people found useful, that way when the day came to thin the heard he would still be around. SO Hunter took up electrical engineering, he has learned lighting, different circuits, and has accidentally learned some things on improvised explosives. After his cousin died Hunter will do what ever he can to help out where he can. All he can do now though is keep working, waiting for the day he is to get himself killed, either in combat or in some horrible electrical accident. So far the bidding is 2 for combat, 5 for electrical.

Extras: Hunter is a defensive person. He is kind to the people he trust, but if he doesn't trust you he will likely hold you at gun point (Or wrench) until he is able to trust you. But even then he can be a smart ass.
Things, just got real, also I may need to plan a new character after what I decided to put hank through. Dammit I never got a chance for a wood chipper for Hank...aw.
Hank screwed up, He got inside but barely. Then once inside those Anti scent things hunters use for deer hunting didn't work at all. Now his shotgun is the only thing between him and the vampire on top of him, Only if he shoots it inhere everyone and everything ill know he is inside.

It's hard to say hold old the vampire is, this one is male. Looks to be late 20s early 30s. Hank was on the floor with the vampire on top of him and the shotgun between them both. Hank moved to the side forcing the vampire to the floor, But he got back up faster then Hank could react and pushed him into the wall. Hank had barely enough time to turn around before the vampire tried to gut him. Only...he didn't. The modified armor served its purpose. His claws were lodges into Hanks armor. Hank Drew the machete of his back and would swing it into the creatures arm. It would fly clean off as he hissed in pain, He was free from Hanks armor but he was weaker now, and disabled. The creature charged but Hank had enough time to draw his hatchet and land it into his gut. Though The vampire was still stronger and kept going. When it stopped he looked at Hank and tried to remove the hatchet. But he couldn't get the leverage to pull it out with one arm. Hank still has both arms, and the machete. He would walk up to the creature blade in hand, The vampire got ready to defend it self not knowing what to expect from the human.

Hank leveled the blade of his machete, This is where his marine training would kick in, With mixed martial arts and rifle training. Though a rifle isn't the best weapon against a vampire. They charged each other, the vampire going low to avoid Hank and get him from underneath, hank then sidestepping catching the vamp forcing his own momentum into the wall. As the Vampire was fazed he only had enough time to see the blade run through his skull. Hank is guessing the vampire didn't see much fighting. he was sloppy, Cocky, Didn't think ahead. It cost him his life.

Hank would kneel by the vampire. "I'm sorry it came to this. I know not what you did, or if you deserved this. Your masters on the other hand do deserve this. You my friend were an obstacle. I am sorry our paths crossed and I had to do this to you. You wont be forgotten, May you find piece where ever you end up." Hank would leave the scent blockers on the vampire, grab his gun, and run off. He didn't have time to do the rest of his traditions, the screech from the vampire would draw attention. He was getting ready for a fight, But now the element of surprise was gone. Now he was in war all over again. Though this time it was personal.
Hunter would stay on the porch outside, He preferred it alone. Maybe it was the fact he was still learning to trust these new people. Maybe it was because he felt safer alone. Who knows. Though that tea was good. Hunter wouldn't mind some more, but he's already in debt to Irene enough. Maybe he can give her something from his supplies when he grabs them in the morning.
Oh sorry miss read question, It's six years after the outbreak in 2018. So it depends on the date you picked for your character.
@nerminator
Hunter guessed he was too quiet on the porch, he looked to his side to see Jonah. He would speak quietly. "Hey, stay calm, stay quiet, they'll leave. Just...don't panic." Hunter would go back to staring into the darkness. "Maybe 4 of them. Not too bad, but should stay quiet at that."
