Conversation Reaper with Thunder [+]

The Reaper gave a small snicker, keeping his eyes on Thunder as he got into position on the Carriage "Heheh, name on a list... i hear your a trapper of some sort, but I've never given 2 shiny shits about reputations, If i haven't seen proof of one being earned, then as far as I'm concerned there isn't one. ... on an unrelated note, you look like you have a very 'active' night... heheh."

A Mild smirk crossed his features when the subject of learning about the reapers was brought up "Hahah... There are 2 things you need to know... The first is that 'Big Daddy is the boss'... The Reapers are made of all kinds of 'individuals'... There might be a couple of 'kind souls' in there, but most are violent, Self interestest... all around dangerous... Some are complete psychopaths, other's are 'literal' monsters... But they all know and follow one infalleable rule, Big Daddy is the Boss... If Big Daddy doesn't want trouble caused, The Reaper's don't start trouble... at least not 'big' trouble, and the other gang's don't either, for the most part... The Reaper's 'rule' in a way because we are the biggest, baddest, and most dangerous of the gangs, we take the cardinal rule of the wasteland and make it our bitch.

That is to say, The strong rule... On appearance, and in fact by the interpretations of most, we're just 'heavy duty raiders', But without us, the area around Hoofington would be completely inhospitable to anyone that isn't a member of a gang... Hmmm... To explain that simply... The Reapers make it possible for a modicum of civilization to show, even if that 'modicum of civilization' looks like it's laying on a pile of bones and crusted with blood.

So, the second thing to know, is that 'nobody fucks with the Reapers, and anyone who does gets fucked up'... Seriously, by appearance alone, we might not look like much, but there's a reason that all the other gang's want to have someone who's part of the reapers... Heh, There's a reason the local Steel Rangers picked a fight with us and 'Can't beat us!'... Hah, there's a reason that our 'boss' has remained in-charge since founding the Reapers and even living 'monsters' follow his orders, and it sure ain't because of some stupid psychic control or brain washing."

Thunder sighed and rolled his eyes at the reaper. "I was really hoping for a little more, the reapers sound awfully dissapointing. I can see why they are thriving but its more like a paasing fad then an actual gang or soceity. They really are nothing more than raiders, except instead of numbers keeping them alive its brute strength. If you dont get proper order in your system you'll just crumple under your own weight. Hell if i really dedicated myself to it, i could probably take down the entire Reaper game in 3-5 years give or take. It would be simple, set the right traps, kill the right ponies, use some well worded subterfuge and done, i could get the reapers simultaneously to fight off 4 armies at the same time while dealing with an internal revolt, which you would start for me. Do the reapers even have a goal or purpose, a direction to orient themselves?" Thunders eyes were still closed and if it wasnt for the fact that he was talking he would look like he was sleeping. Thunder was underhandedly displaying that he felt no threat towards onyx what-so-ever. Although he wasnt actually mocking him, it was more of a display of dominance to show how much confidence in his ability he had.

Thunder used his magic to yank out a canteen full of whiskey from his bag and offered it to Onyx. "Well enough of that now, its a pleasure to meet you 'Onyx' and yes i am a 'trapper'. Although, i trap ponies not rodents but i'm sure you already knew that. I also work in equipment repair and upkeep as well as crafting. I also sometimes work as a demolitionist when someponies need something blown up real good. Like you i also give zero fucks about reputation, but building one for myself helps business so i don't really give a shit what you think i can and cant do because if you ain't payin me then i dont see why i should do anything for ya. This is also why i think you Reapers are weak, cuz its not gonna be some pony bigger and stronger than you thats gonna take you all down, it'll start with a pony like me and end with a pony like her." Thunder, still curled up in a ball, lazily nodded over to the carriage that a whie unicorn with a brown cloak was currently timidly boarding. A smirk crept across Thunder's face again. "Never underestimate the meak, they'll be the death of you."

Thunder shifted a little to get comfortable. "As for last night... i had an encounter that may have ruined sex for me for a long time. Lucky for me that same pony is on this trip so, sex isnt ruined yet."

Onyx snickered madly for a moment and cat an actual smirk Thunder's way, even if he wasn't looking, and completely shrugged off the little 'display' "Heheh, silly pony, I said that's all you needed to 'know', I never said that's all there was... in the end, there's a lot that is just nobody's business but ours... you don't seem to 'know' anything about the hoofinton area 'do' you? you'd probably understand more if you did, but i'm not the type to waste my time recounting 'tales of the home country' to someone i barely know, but bring that on, Big daddy, though he likes obedience and such, he 'loves' to be challenged, of course he's in charge because nobody has been able to challenge him... besides, some of us ain't hardly that easy to kill, we ain't all just 'baddassiest raiders but otherwise just ponies'... i said 'monsters' for a reason, hell, there's even one of us you 'can't' kill, period, no shitting, she even took a trip through a wood chipper on a bet! put herself right back together! Never seen a Reaper faint before, but a couple of the newbies face planted from that show... but of course, in case you don't get the idea, The Reaper's already 'own' half a dozen armies of their own in the hoof, sure... most of em are brainless Gang-banger 'fodder', but... well, I won't say more, just feel free to pull your shit and lets see how it goes, heheh... let just leave it at this... 'there's a reason Red-eye don't go to the hoof, and it ain't the enervation'."

His smirk turned into a slightly cock-eyed grin as he saw the cantene coming his way, taking it himself with a smirk and went right ahead to take a nice long gulp from it... he half expects it to be poisoned, though clearly doesn't worry about that. "Heheh, you certainly reek of being the type who's certain you're smarter than everypony else in the figurative room... though you're also full of assumptions from the sound of it, I didnt imply looking down on the Meek, though i can't actually fault you for 'that one', it tends to be a given in the wasteland that 'organizations that boast considerable violence think everything else is inferior'... of course, being that the Reapers are a hodge-podge of the 'Best' from Allover The Hoof, Just about every stereotype can be attributed to them because 'someone' in the reapers is probably from one of those... ya know, only if they're worth shit...... And ya know, in light of 'that'... I'll give you a little bit of advice... juuust incase you ever get the inkling around the reapers... don't try to get in bed with Brutus, He will 'break' you, literally... Avoid Deus all together, and don't fuck with Gorgon... Otherwise, go nuts, and if you can sleep with Psycho or RAmpage and still walk away i'll be impressed."

It would only be a few moments, after the Bridge finished lowering and connecting the city to the ruin, before the caravan started moving, sound of smoothly turning wheels, strong hooves clacking the ground as they pull the weight, and very quiet hum from the 2 larger Metal Carriages.

Once the Caravan clanked it's way across the metallic bridge, back onto stone and dirt, Most of the guards got busy 'looking attentive' and observing the area around them. The Caravan kept a good pace, though slightly tamed so that nopony would fall behind from not being fast enough to change Cars.

It was Sparse, but already a guard here or there would occasionally whistle and 'aim' to call attention to potential threat he saw... It was a typical occurance though, for a caravan of this size to attract attention as though there were blowing a fog-horn saying 'we're hauling lots of valuable stuff! but at this point they were few in number and not crazy enough to charge into certain death, yet, but every whistle was a reminder that they were very noticeable out here.

Music, while not forbidden, was usually preffered to be kept down... entertaining the group can be healthy, but playing full volume is more likely to attract, or awake, something not worth a fun little tune... keeping this in mind of course, Symphony began singing, it was fairly quiet, Audible to the caravan if just barely, a slow and 'smooth' song to start with, to set a calm mood.

Behind them the sight of Friendship city drawing farther into the distance, ever growing walls of ruined buildings filling the space between the Caravan and the city, it was a sight that could wear on the mind if one stared for too long and wasn't already used to such a sight of worse... The the Caravan took a turn, and like that they were completely surrounded by the leftovers of the original wrecked city, 'safe places' gone from sight, the sight of ruin in every direction and the sickly reek of a decaying world filling the air.
