No problem, the scene flows nicely from the previous one and saves me having to find a way of getting Harry outside. :)
Quickly fastening up his pants and belt Harry grasped the girl's hand tightly and gave it a firm shake. "Name's Harold Allnut, but my friends call me Harry," he replied, his eye quickly sizing Hanna up as he tried to judge how easily he'd be able to take her down and steal the gear.

After a moment Harry let go of Hanna's hand and stepped away with a smile. "In my experience everything's for sale, it's just a matter of finding the right price for it." As he spoke Harry brought up a chrono display on his HUD, which showed him they were both a few minutes early for their rendezvous.

Moving over to his radcycle Harry quickly snapped open the rear compartment and pulled out a jumper cable. Locking it into place on his backpack he quickly topped up Wrench's batteries, making sure he was fully charged. It wasn't really needed, Wrench could operate for several days without charging, but Harry'd learnt the hard way to always make sure his equipment was primed and ready, just in case.
In The Fog 11 yrs ago Forum: Casual Roleplay
@TheUnknowable@Lionheart I am wondering how the monsters were able to survive outside the fog and how he, and for that matter the captured villagers, survived in the fog, though.

I could see the monsters performing raiding strikes, since the description says they attacked the village and carried people off. As far as the people surviving in the Fog, that all depends on what the monsters intended to do with them. After all, dinner only needs to be kept warm for a couple of hours at the most, presuming the monsters liked eating live food.
If it's government regulations then an inspector needs to come over to confirm the work needs to be done, then a supervisor needs to come to confirm the work site complies with Health and Safety Regulations. Only after that's been cleared can the actual repairman be sent, and he needs to confirm the state of the site before doing any work, and then wait 4-6 weeks for parts to arrive. At which point, because it's into a new month the inspector needs to recertify the site, and the supervisor needs to clear Health & Safety again. The repairman can then do the work required, and then calls the supervisor in to make sure that the site has been left it a fit state, which the inspector needs to confirm before opening the elevator for public use.
Harry groaned loudly as the dawn's early light stabbed into his eyes. covering his face with his hand he glared up at Elsie's bare backside as she stood in front of the window a curtain in each hand. "If this is your way of asking for a little breakfast, you'll have to give me a minute to heat up the sausage," he said with a grin.

Yanking the sheet off the bed Elsie quickly wrapped it around herself. "Something tells me your sausage will take more than a minute to cook, and you'd better be gone before my husband wakes up and finds me missing." The buxom barmaid retorted, her hands tugging her hair into a ponytail and quickly fastening in place with a tie.

For a moment Harry simply lay there, the dawn light warming his naked body as he watched Elsie's figure backlit against the rising sun. The heat was certainly beginning to sizzle his pan, but Elsie was right and Harry couldn't risk making an enemy of her husband. With a sigh he reached down and scooped his pants up off the floor, quickly pulling them up his legs before grabbing Elsie's hand and pulling her down on top of him.

"Y'know I'll be out of town awhile with this new job. How 'bout you keep the home fires burning for my return?" He said, giving the playful wench's neck a nuzzle.
@DJAtomika My first suggestion would be to duck. :)
Let's hope the new player is trained in elevator maintenance, 'cos that lift is taking way too long to get moving. :)
As the locks gave way under Marga's deft touch a gentle hiss of escaping air wafted past as the uncontaminated atmosphere within began to mix with the thinner, less well fragranced air in the corridor. A moment later a series of clicks and whirrs could be heard from the ceiling as ancient systems came back to life, panels sliding apart and gears moving into place lowering a pair of automated guns down into the passageway.

For a moment the guns swung back and forth as if uncertain as to what they were supposed to be doing, before springing to life, peppering the hallway with laser blasts designed to discourage unwanted access to the control room behind them.
T'Lora is a pilot so there's a good chance she'll swurve out of the way in time to avoid running you over.

Unless she decides to swerve in time to ensure running you over. :P
If you write up a post of Linc waking in the morning and setting out to find food and water (or something similar) we can run from there with our little convoy heading out of town and running into you.

Not literally, I hope. :)
