I don't know why people don't say my characters don't have weaknesses. But then I never understand why people attack my strengths.
I am like Rilla. I don't fight unless I need to.
I am going to actually allow DJ to see the red glow on the edge. It would be something that stands out. I won't allow him covering the distance required to avoid the fire wall. It won't burn you as much as hoped because of the ice. However, it will create a steaming effect that can damage you. Regardless of the damaging factor, steam or fire, you do have to take some damage. More than just a singed tail.

You will have to rewrite the post to mention the increased damage taken by your running dodge.
My characters all have weaknesses Khan, you just need to learn how to fight.
I will read everything, suspend your posting until I have ruled.
How is what I said unfair? If a few people come here and want to run a game where they face a gm run monster fest and not each other that certainly doesn't match our ranked element. If they come and want to have a rapid, T2 style match, with canon characters with friends and not detailed posts that again doesn't match "our" elements. That is not to say they might not want to join later, but their initial reason is not to join our competative ranks.
That only happens if they want to participate. If they want to start their own arena fight with friends they aren't interested in "our" arena elements.
An introductory subforum would be nice if people used it to learn and become an active participant. Many come here with the idea of starting a thread and fighting any which way. Those people have an idea of what they want and when the community doesn't respond they leave. Those who step into the chat with an introduction vanish shortly after. It is a tough line because the arena denotes different things to different people.
I actually left it open so one of you can start that aspect of the battleground.
In the old days when text fighting was still developing, the mere mention of a number would be laughed at. T1 is a writing game not a numbers game, the categories are broad for a reason and nothing is off limits. But so many now want a number system to make everything fair. *shrug* T1 was the original answer to fairness nearly 15 years ago. For me nothing has changed.
