Even some of the the intermediate-level characters smell of demigod-level wank.Amazing how the first arena thread on the old instance of the Guild had a strict set of guidelines pertaining to character creation and character power, while this one allows for extensive freedom which has resulted in said e-peen waving. I mean, unsure if my concepts even register as 'low tier', since they're all ports from the old Multiverse, which was significantly low-powered when compared to this.

You don't have to participate. This is my multiverse. I prefer intermediate characters. Yes they do smack of demigods because they are supposed to.
Classic E-peen need to be the baddest ass character out there. I had hoped most people would stick to intermediate but, alas nope.
You apparently don't look at the approved character list do you?

“My people went quick.” Fury shouted at the top of his lungs, floating backwards slowly and pulling the debris with him, when it was almost at his right hand he took stock of the General’s position, wherever it may be. “Yours will burn!” Fury yelled, and simultaneously launched his projectile at the hero, with a massive wave of kinetic force propelling it with deadly intention.

General Freedom rose slowly, his eyes narrowed as he watched the Fireen capture the debris with an energy field, a trick that many energy manipulators can do. Charging his own energy, feeling the ZPE race through his system, feeling it surge as he prepared to unleash a burst of energy, when suddenly his eye caught movement.

By then it was too late as a tremendous plasma burst, followed by another and another slammed into his body. The shimmering blue ZPE field surrounding him rippled as water when a rock is tossed into it. The first burst surprised him, the second, third and fourth made him angry.

Rising into the air he had taken his eyes off the Fireen, and he paid for it as the debris that was caught and sent back, crashed into him at a tremendous rate. The force that hit him was equal to a freight train moving at 180 miles per hour, more than enough to cause the General to grunt as he found himself flying backward, head over heels. A few hundred meters later, one of Alternate Earth’s mightiest heroes crashed into a retaining wall for the elevated gardens.

The force of the impact, coupled with the mass of the hero brought nearly 20 tons of material down on top of the man known as General Freedom. As the dust settled, nothing moved. Yet under the tons of rubble and dirt, a blue glow slowly intensified.

The Nas’Gaduran knights moved forward, one jumping into the air where his thrusters elevated him and rushed him forward a short distance. The other scampered by the floating Fireen, the energy surging along the length of his weapon, the crackling of the plasma as it hovered in a containment field on the tip, ready to be unleashed glowed angrily.
If you want I suppose, although you will be rebirthed as it were with everything on your CS.
There is a line in the Hall of Dreamers ooc that says when ready the waker shall be whole and substantial ready to live again.

Sukoh stepped forward into what seemed to be her domain and he leaned forward over the top of the staircase, almost touching her with his nose. His lips barely moved as he spoke in his animal tongue. "Who are you?"

A soft laughter filled the void, as the skeletal begin sat back, visibly chuckling at the question, the glow bathing Sukoh brightened.

“Oh my genetle bear, I am Scathach” she said as she reached out and stroked the bears nose, “I am both shadow and substance, alive and dead. I am the Dreaming Queen.”

Behind Sukoh another shimmering translucent shadow appeared, a man, strong limbed and hearty stood upon wobbly legs, his eyes wide with fear and apprehension as he stared at the bear, then he sat down and laid his head on a pillow, falling asleep.

“I have never seen a bear in person, although I have experienced the terror of a bear. I have witnessed the frolicking and play of cubs, the ferocity of mothers. I have seen the harsh winters and the brutal springs where food is scare for the cubs and the weak and weary seeking shelter from hunters. “

Before she could continue a shadow appeared, a skeletal being, whose very being seemed to be fold in on itself at times. The words passing between them are in a hoary language both ethereal and fearsome, a language forgotten by a race long dead and seemingly eternal.

Scathach lowered her head a moment as she pulled her hand back, a glow of red energies raced around it and an image appeared. A grotesque horned horror emerged from a gateway somewhere. As the being roared to the heavens it paused and stared, as if it knew it was being watched and a feral grin spread across its black lips. A raucous laughter erupted from the beast as it turned its attention to a mountain in the distance.

A hint of sadness settled on the skeletal being, her voice had lost its cheeriness, she rolled her hand over and dismissed the image, “Tell me the story of your life Sukoh. I wish to know the dreams of others. What is it you dream of giant one? What vistas do you wander when your mind is free and unfettered?”

Behind the veil, a hint, an impression that the Dreaming Queen was smiling, winsome and lonely at the bear, “Forgive me Sukoh. I do not wish to delay you on your next path; I merely sought to understand you.”
