Same reason why we have people using swords and not firearms. I personally distaste melee weapons, for they force you to put yourself in unnecessary danger whereas a [theoretically] stronger and much safer alternative--this alternative being the gun--offers the user the same capacity to end life and/or protect themselves. However, I care not why other people use swords and spears and what-have-you, but as outlined by the RP's rules and regulations, they are analogous to firearms in terms of damage, reliability and effectiveness, putting sword-users on equal footing with firearm users. In terms of satisfying a GM's happiness---that isn't in my book. If a GM comes forth with a logical argument and infallible proof or evidence, I have no choice but to take the knee and probably learn a thing or two in the process. If a GM chooses to wave his or her internet peen around, this will only cause me to quit their thread and drag their name through the mud as I come into contact with people in my roleplayer travels across multiple forums or threads. I don't hand out candies and sweets out of fear of an unknown internet person's wrath.I respect people that are reasonable and who are open to discussion, not tyrants. Real-life situations are a bit different, since this mentality wouldn't get me far in a job, but this isn't my job now is it?That's fine, but I hope you have examples and reasons handy, which hopefully can be shared here or in a PM. For now, it looks like you're basing your worries off of past experiences without even knowing how I'll be using BoT in your MV or my roleplaying style in general. Judging a book by its cover and all of that jazz, I guess.

Just stop or I will deny it outright and be done with this. I could careless what you think about how I base my decisions, I don't need to give you a reason, and you can walk away and I won't be miffed or bothered by it.
• (Activated) Wormhole Manipulation (High): Wormholes allow Beowulf of Trinity a great deal of tactical flexibility, increasing his maneuverability and defensive capabilities. Wormholes are not constructed by Beowulf of Trinity, but rather are 'mined' from the material universe itself, with all of them being of the Morris-Thorne-Yurtsever type, putting them as spherical in shape and not as a simple two-dimensional doorway. Their times of arrival and departure completely up to chance, wormholes are naturally chaotic anomalies, with locating and controlling them requiring substantial energy investment on Beowulf of Trinity's behalf. The maximum size of Beowulf of Trinity's wormholes is directly proportional to his own bulk; they can be made smaller than he is, but not larger, with the overall size not affecting the energy that is required to open them and/or keep them active.

Beowulf can only maintain four wormholes for a time period of approximately five minutes (which, for game play reasons, translates to exactly three posts). These holes do not allow time travel, and take only a second to generate, re-size and close. Objects---organic and non-organic alike---that are trapped in a wormhole(s) when it is closed will normally be annihilated outright.

-Beowulf of Trinity can use wormholes to cover vast distances in very short time spans; they can also be implemented during combat, where a wormhole can by dynamically projected and shifted around so as to make it appear as though Beowulf is blinking in (and out) of existence. During these maneuvers, targeting him is incredibly difficult, though these 'wormhole hops' can only be engaged for a set period of time before the potent mechanical and electrical systems that make wormhole generation possible must be allowed time (1 post) to recharge.

-The total amount of distance Beowulf can travel between each 'wormhole jump' is roughly forty-five miles, which takes all but a second to traverse when this method is used. This requires the use of four wormholes, which cannot be chained together nor 'stretched' so as to allow increased travel time.

-Spawning them at the right time, Beowulf of Trinity can use his wormholes to absorb incoming projectiles, utilize two of them to form a sort of 'quasi-bunker' that can be sealed off on one end (but never both ends, as this would result in Beowulf's destruction) and used as a protective shelter, or employed as a means to extend his own firing distance.

Like I said I will discuss with Rilla. What ever we decide is final.
Because I said it does my call. I have seen to many fights where people with "worm hole" abilities avoid being hit because "ho I used a worm hole to avoid the damage"
However, seeing as how we have people that can pretty much cause all life on a planet to die out with a single attack in this MV setting, I don't see how wormholes are an issue.

Which character here in the MV can cause all life on a planet to die in a single attack?

I need to consider the use of worms holes because as I said the prospect for abuse is great. I will need to discuss it with Rilla..
I never understand people who claim they love fighting role-plays but shy away from an arena mv which is strictly about fighting with other experienced fighters.
The bubble-belly bear just got an energy disc sent to gut him....Ohhhh bear goop everywhere, that is worse than me destroying a city.

Why do you think I'm here?

Go KIll LeeRoy quickly then. Then rain pain on the MV...
I am the BIG E I need lesser evil people to carry the fight across the multiverse, otherwise I will become burned out by being in too many threads.
Necropoli is starting to heat up...muhahaha I just need more bad guys
The flow of nightmares, flowering delirium mingling with misery encircled the world of Necropoli. He who should not be, the shadow among dreams opened his eyes as the laminations of a world reached his ears. The swirling miasma of hellish winds roared, the hideous chanting of the three shadow creaures rose and fell with a morbid rhythm, a wicked smile flashed upon the dark face, Ghoukas reached out with his considerable powers, augmenting and strengthening the feelings of despair that infused the nightmares entering the sleepers.

A deep growl, as if from the bowels of hell itself seemed to erupt from the chest of he who should not be, a crimson serpentine tongue lashed and tasted the air. "Hmm there is a disturbance, a feeling of hope…a waste that such sweet offerings must be the last vestiges of a dying people." Hissed the great shadow seated upon the black granite throne, the ruined and battered bodies of the countless Necroploians lay in a great heap around the immense chair.

Laying back the great horned head, the one known as Ghoukas inhaled deeply then reached out with a clawed hand weaving the nightmare stuff into ghoulish monstrosities, incorporeal phantoms slowly manifested before the lord of despair. Someone was helping the child who defied the Lord of Nightmares.

"Find this hope…go and find this light and extinguish it from existence. Leave the bodies as a warning to those others who dare dream of salvation that there is none…" whispered the ever shifting shadow as the whorls of energy that flowed from the eyes changed to a brilliant red.

The large wolf like animals snarled and gnashed their teeth, their hollow eyes flared and illuminated with the same brilliant red light. Their mournful howls, frightening, diabolical sounds that carried along the hellish winds, to the far edges of the world, the bloodthirsty sound, chilling the blood of those who huddled around fires seeking safety in the flickering lights.

Those who slept, dreamed of cavernous maws engulfing their bodies, consigning their souls to an eternity of torment as the horrendous, otherworldly creatures hunted them in a land of twisted trees and fog-shrouded lands. They dreamed of the last lights in heaven extinguished as he who should not be unleashed the spectral hounds to travel the world to find the power that still illuminated the darkness.
