LOL Melon I had this same conversation with you when you started arena RPING and you basically told me to stuff it until Rilla told you it was ok to listen to me...Anyhoo, yes Rilla, Melon and a few others can in fact mediate since they know how I run and examine a fight and a character or character action in a fight. If you still feel that you cannot gain satisfaction I will be home tonight and be on tomorrow and resolve your issue.

*** Addedum*** And LeeRoy you are aware that C4 is a shaped charge? Depending on the size of the charge it will make a nice hole, but if you want shrapnel you need to encase the charge in ball-bearings, nails or some such to use the explosive power to radiate death in the blast radius.

Hmmm ASTA after some consideration and talking to Rilla, we both agree that your character is all wrong for this arena multiverse. But, since I have no desire to hear you argue, rant and threaten about your rights or some such regarding my role-play of which you are merely a participant. I will allow your character with the understanding that if you enter a thread and the person or persons in said thread decide that they don’t want to fight a mecha space cat with worm-hole generating crap they can inform you in the OOC that they won’t fight you. You cannot force a fight with anyone who doesn’t wish to fight you. If that is not good enough then I am sorry, you will have to move on and find your fighting fulfillment somewhere else.

Skallagrim felt the electromagnetic energies whirl around him; slowly the induction field began to deform the air around him, creating lines of force, creating closed loops of electric energies around the black clad being, which in turn generates a magnetic field in phase with them. A multicolored borealis effect surrounded the Dreamer, as the amethyst energies in his eye-sockets dimmed to mere pinpoints of light.

"How do you know my name?" Michael shouted, with a hint of impudence. "Who are you and who are the dreamers?" There were too many questions to ask, but Michael doubted that he'd find many answers.

“There is little we do not know Michael Faraday…You have the potential to shape a great war, we seek to understand why.”

Stepping forward two steps, the Dreamer drew his sword Keefe holding it in a low rear guard position, the blade behind him and low, the tip barely an inch above the sandy ground. Left knee in the fore, the left hand raised above it, a shimmering amethyst glow encasing it. The weight of his body distributed evenly as the skeletal warrior allowed his energies to pulse with a deep thrum. A concentric wave of energy propagated from the Dreamer, causing a shifting of the sand around him.

Above him, the skies flared with deep flashes of intra-cloud lighting that raced and jumped in the darkness. If one were able to recall the stories of the Valkyries or the night hunters who rode on storm clouds with wild abandoned. It seemed as if the skies were alive with creatures waiting with unabashed eagerness to be unleashed.

A nimbus of violet energies raced around the body of Skallagrim, the smell of ozone increasing as was a pressure that seemed to weigh heavily upon the friends of Michael Faraday, a pressure that caused the hairs on their heads to stand up as if lifted by unseen hands.

I think toning down worlds at the moment will be a good idea so we can get these characters already int he NMV up and fighting somewhere. Nightrunner feel free to ask questions regarding the fight. Everyone has different experiences and learning is a process of trial and error as well as the tales from others.

Alright...yeah I was going to say as long as the sword has flexibility, a sword needs to survive impact and still retain a sharp cutting edge, is referred to as a spring. A powerful impact will temporarily deform the sword, however due to a degree of hardness it will return to its original shape (i.e straight and effective, not bent and likely to miss its mark due to an inability to travel in a perfect arc. ) This temper also allows the steel to retain enough hardness that it will generally use hold a good cutting edge when used against things like bone, wood ,and even iron.

Yes. Until he is tiered out and considered a character capable of fighting, he is a background character.
