Isn't measuring roleplaying experience difficult? It's nothing more than collaborative writing at best, and not really a skill on its own.

True but having fought bullshit fighters who pulled crap out of their ass tends to make one read the entire fight very carefully so that you understand what is happening and if it goes to a judge you can point to actions leading up to support your action or completely blow up the bullshit attack from your opponent.

Dude I can see the weakness in every character, just because I see it doesn't mean it's non-metagamingly exploitable. Sometimes in character logic only goes so far, I'm not talkin' about yer mech Green, your mech has a hilariously blatant weakness. But I'm getting at stuff like: Golden Age Green Lantern's weakness was wood. Wood! How would you be able to learn this information in combat? Nobody in the arena has wooden weapons. Would they just conveniently be disarmed and find a stick to beat the shit out of him with? Sometimes weaknesses can be ridiculously dangerous, other times super obvious. But just because it's obvious doesn't mean it's exploitable. Example: Superman. Kryptonite, a material that's dangerously radioactive to humans. It's also incredibly rare. And then you've got normal human characters who are low tier, who are all weak to bullets. But we all know what happens when you shoot bullets in an RP.

Really. I cannot tell you what to do or how to ease your worried mind. If it so troubles you have to fight along T1 rules and exploit weaknesses that you glean through the actions of your opponent and their stances, descriptions and how they present their attacks then I cannot help you.
Hmmm oh you mean the lion god who created a universe 150 times the size of a normal universe at his birth by the black hole compression powers of a trillion trillion lions all merging into one? That god? A 2,400 ton mech can be beaten and Greens has huge weaknesses, really glaring weakness that can be exploited, in a non meta-gaming way, to expose the soft pulpy pilot inside.

So, can I have him as a background character? I promise he won't be exhibiting any powers past high tier, and he'll be a casual observer at best. It might motivate me to swap out an all star cast of Mad Acolytes as a faction at a later date if he's around.I'll even limit myself to one planet a month, starting with Khan's.

LOL the Mad Acolytes may have competition in Rilla's faction he is working on. Sure keep him as an observer like the god that runs LeeRoy's LeeRoy character.

I don't like where this is going, having entire planets destroyed in a heartbeat doesn't sound fun or entertaining.

Really...you think I will let planets be destroyed in a heartbeat? LOL.
Well I started on AOL forums in 94-95, moved to CompuServe then yahoo chat rooms. Bopped around for a while before I found T1 and have been a follower of the style since. So how long ago is that? Ages.

The Mad God is two of one things, the god of madness, and a mad god.You be the judge. He also ate a planet.Which had hilarious OOC consequences.

That was a crap storm and a half...I thought it was funny as hell though because it made sense based on the actions of the fight.

I disagree with that, honestly. It doesn't affect me either way, but I think they're not quite as obvious as you make them sound.

Meh, maybe, maybe not. Maybe I just look at fights differently than you do.

Hey Skallagrim, can I introduce the Mad God as a non-critical multiverse participant, just for some comic relief in the Nexus Of Worlds?I can restrict his powers a little bit so the Dreamers are still on top, when he's in their realm at any rate. It would also give me something to put in the fail OOC post.

Sure I like the mad god, he is funny as hell. Make sure you list him as a non-critical and have fun with him.

Ya, not the most reliable folk. You should see how fast she drops her own Rp's.@Skall Which reminds me, how long must I stare at her dragon in magic world before I can ignore her?

After 72 hours I suppose like a tourney, you can write the presence of the character but just move past them. If it is in mid fight well you know those rules, 48 hours before connect, if they miss a deadline again then killing blow. If they have informed you of some reason they will be late then you can work it out with them and pick it up later. Melon I am going to get a post in alt-earth and have the mobs come after you and the girl.
