Current Been practicing drawing for a few months now. Biggest tip I can give so far is copy, copy, copy. It really helps you learn the basics in a very hands on way,

Hm, well Skepic, my nation sheet is done. :P

Alright, I'll check it out

I intend to make a nation for this RP, in the southern tundra. Populated by gas-powered robots. Are robots okay? About 100,000 robots total.

PM me the details of what you have in mind.
UPDATE

Sadko, I love the NS. Really adds to the world! Good job, accepted. Once one or two more reach completion, I'll create a depository and you can go post your NS there, of course, after I have approved of it.
SO! Allow me to QUOTE my rules, since, according to the majority of the nation sheets here, you did not read them (I count three sheets that confirmed they had read the rules):

Rules

-The GM has the ultimate final word for anything. Period. While I am happy to hear what you have to say, when I say "No" it means "No", end of discussion. This also means holding your opinion on the matter until the GM gives the final word.-

- Long pointless debates and arguments over ultimately trivial things seem to be a bit of a plague here after I looked through some of your long dead Steampunk/dieselpunk NRPs. So if it cant be settled in a few posts, take it to PMs. We are not here to argue who made the first assault rifle, or when the first whatever the fuck was made.-

-ABSOLUTELY NO POWERGAMING/GODMODDING! The leaders of your nation do not have acess to the thread! Thus any secret messages or other discussions cannot be heard unless the circumstances call for it, i.e the players already talked about a spy being present or whatever.-

-Grammar and spelling must be readable.Posts should not be one sentence. I want to see some good paragraphs. Of course if there's not much to post, that's fine, post it anyway-

-STAY ACTIVE! PLEASE! If your are thinking of joining the NRP, keep in mind I require that you post at least once every two days. I get things can get hectic in life, but want to see this be fairly active and not die four posts into the IC. Let us know if you are going on some sort of extended absence and try to tie up any loose ends so you don't leave other players hanging.-

-The Great War Machines! Now war is always fun to have in NRPs, and I am going to be very liberal on big nations possessing some massive war machine. However, the few restrictions I will apply is that you can't just whip it out on every battle and they will be generally be slow moving. Other than that, go nuts! Just understand they are not really there to win your nation a war, but to add to the world and have a Goliath for David to face.-

-On that note, technology in general! I will say that we shall limit it generally to something of the early 1940s, AKA, no jets at all, wider diversity of armored vehicles and aircraft, ect. Flying wings and such will be allowed and to be honest, I will just play it by ear.-

-Have fun! No really, I'm being half serious here. This is a fantasy/adventure based NRP with notable characters, places, and wars alike! Don't get to caught up in realism and just sit back and let things slide by. We are all here to have a good time, so simply shrug and move on from it.-

-Put "I read that mess, can we start already!?" at the bottom of your NS to confirm you have read the rules-

Pay close attention to the two last rules

How many times must I make myself clear. I DO NOT CARE ABOUT SPECIFIC NUMBERS! I don't care how many battleships, aircraft carriers, or whatever you have! They should NOT have any great effect on the Roleplay. If you are here to powergame, try to "win", or striving to create a supreme nation "because I want a supreme nation" and not that you think it would be fun to have a nation that ultimately wants to take over the world, then leave. Period. I stress again and again and again that this is not that kind of roleplay. We are not here to spout out numbers at each other in page long arguments, we are not here to argue "What came first and when". We are here to have floating fortresses, crazy mechanical contraptions, and awesome fun total wars that are filled with personal struggles of characters all caught within this mess. From the great general to the lowly conscripted private, to the civilian trying to survive that mess both in and out of war, you decide who's story will be told. Stop arguing over such petty things.

I have said before I trust that nobody will abuse this huge amount of freedom I'm giving you. Yes, there will be great war machines that will seemingly crush an entire army in a single battle, but there should be an agreement on BOTH ends on what will happen. Maybe that massive mobile fortress gets taken out by a lone crack squad who against all odds destroys the mobile monster. Who knows?

Anyway, please refrain from commenting on other people's NS unless unless its about involving your nation with another like talks about shared histories, trade, ect. If I spot something then I will say something. For now, finish up those nation sheets so we don't take a hundred years to start this.
I don't need those kinds of numbers for my RP, just an overview of what your military is like. You can, of course, go as in depth as you want, just know I'm not really gonna pay attention to any of that since the RP isn't based around that sort of system.

All of your CSs are looking pretty good so far. Once you get them finished we can be on our way!
Will be posting Alicia's intro shortly. Sorry about the delay.
Hey hey, lets not get so worked up over imaginary territories now... Actually, you could perhaps work it out if the territory is close enough to be relevant to you that maybe your nations are already at odds over disputed territories. Have fun with it, toy with the idea, ect.

Peacekeeper, yes, I caught that little edit in your first post. I thought the KSP map might make for a good map. (Totally not because I got lazy and tired of trying to find a good original one and decided Kerbin would make a good substitute. Totally not that. XD )

Anyway, like I said before, I'll be updating the OP map sometime today.

I've selected my territory. Can you aprove of this?

Seems fine by me, I may scale back that one territory on the Africa like continent a bit, but yeah, other than that, seems alright.

Any possibility of entering as a polity that is not, strictly speaking, a nation-state? I would have a bit of territory and armed forces, but I would be an international political party and federation of radical trade unions and cooperatives.

Hmm.... PM me the details of what you have in mind.

Well it's good to see this is getting a healthy amount of attention! Still gettin pass Thanksgiving, but I will update the OP's map with everyone's claims soon.
That's fine, As long as they aren't too big or anything.
Alright, Krauss chose Varrot as his scout.
The sounds of battle that had seemed far away were soon upon them as an explosion nearby shook the ground. The Sergeant was quick to respond. "Looks like trouble Corporal. Take a scout and get up as high as you can. And use...' He paused for a second, rummaging through his backpack to find his backup wireless. '... this to keep in contact. I'll take the others and try to make contact with company command. If things get too hot, fall back westward and hide out in the hedgerows until we can meet up."

Krauss gave a quick salute then nodded. "Roger that, stay safe out there. Alright, Private Varrot, with me!" said then took off down the street heading northward towards an old milling tower, sniper rifle in hand. They quickly made their way into the old stone tower. It had long stopped milling wheat into grain and now served merely as a storage building. They made their way up the small stone staircase until Krauss flung open a wooden hatch to the roof. The tower only gave them a slightly high vantage point over the town, Krauss cursing he did not have enough time to relocate. "I guess we'll have to make do with this." Krauss loaded his rifle and laid down prone, motioning Varrot to do the same. "I'm gonna need to you be on that radio and keeping our Sergeant updated with the enemy's position. Be sure to call out targets of interest like obvious squad leaders and such as you scout the area. Those will be the guys I'm aiming for. Also, after I pop off a few rounds we're gonna need to relocate before the enemy can get a bead on us." Krauss looked out across the area, seeing poorly armed militia facing down the Empire's invasion force. IT seemed road after road was being taken as the Empire's forces moved relentlessly through the town, killing anything they saw.

"Damn this is bad...." he thought to himself as he lined up his first shot of the war.

Nation's Name
The Greater Republic of Helvalion

Nation's History
The Greater Republic of Helvalion is a relatively new major power to the world stage in comparison to other nations. In the beginning, it was two states, both monarchies. For nearly two centuries, they had always been at odds with one another, constantly at war, or planning for war during rare peace time. The people of both lands grew very tired and hateful of the monarchy that would send them to die over petty differences. A unifying rebellion force overthrew the monarchy at the dawn of the new Industrial Era, establishing a new form of representative government that had not been tested. This system of a balance of powers, representation, and establishing the new laws of freedom were very successful in unifying and rebuilding the nation. Its new found size and strength is owed to immigration. At first, the small nation lived in relative isolation, with fairly small population. Though as news and stories of the nation's ideals of freedom and democracy began to spread, many people immigrated to Helvalion. Soon the nation began to grow rapidly, with this population growth came industrial, economic, and territorial growth. The nation's culture grew more and more hateful of old ideals and traditions as many of its people had fled their homelands for those very reasons. This forged the Greater Republic into the progressive nation it is today. A place always willing to warmly accept new ideas.

Race
Humans. Native Helvalions typically have geyish hair with blue eyes with some natural resistance to the cold.

Location

Nation's Geography:
In the west near the coast line, the landscape is covered farmland, taking advantage of generally flat terrain and fertile ground. Here you also find the major port towns and cities. As you head further east, the lands become more uneven and rocky. Here is where most of the industrial centers are, particularly the city of Drenthe, a place home to many large industrial factories and a major Ragnite quarry. Here the lands are also dotted with larger pine forests and a snow capped mountain range.

Economy:
The Greater Republic has a Mixed Economy with various areas being either Market or Traditional economies. The Government does regulate various areas of the market, but ultimately it is a free market. In terms of its outlook on foreign trade, the nation often seeks new materials and oppertunities with other nations, always willing to trade. It exports Ragnite, an ore that is found in some locations around the world, but is in very high demand as it can be refined to power anything from your street lamp to your heavy rolling tank. The Greater Republic has very large deposits located in their mountains and is continually researching other ways to use it. The nation imports Black ore and other industrial materials as well as a few exotic materials.

Technology Overview
Helvalion is a place that welcomes new ideas and technologies with open arms. Thus is has a very diverse array of technologies on varying levels of society. In terms of military, the most notable advancements has been in its armored division. Helvalion tanks, thanks to their construction and Ragnite powered engines, are usually well armored, well armed, and surprisingly very mobile. They are well developed tanks that serve as the backbone for Helvalion's offensive might. Their Air Force simply relies on durable, easily maintained aircraft that can support ground troops, but is very lacking in terms of any airship technology.

Military Overview
Population:
6,286,900
-Army Overview-
The Helvalion Army focuses on primarily being a highly mobile, offensive force that uses blitz tactics and aggressive maneuvers with their armored vehicles and artillery to overwhelm an enemy whether they are attacking or defending. They also take advantage of the large amount if railways in the nation and use armored artillery trains for long range bombardments The Army is often given the most attention by the government, much to the dismay of the other two branches.

Standard Helvalion Infantry
Helvalion Infantry are distinguished by their dark blue uniforms and flag patches on their right arms. They use a wide variety of weaponry, using both bolt action and semi automatic rifles as well as sub-machine guns and semi-automatic pistols. They also posses shoulder fired anti tank weaponry and anti tank rifles.

Helvalion Light Tank (A6-2)
This is the Helvalion light tank, armed with a 75mm cannon, it is oddly heavily armed for a tank of its size and role. It's armor is lacking, even with the added skirts on the side, so it's main purpose is usually infantry support and reconnaissance. It is very swift and mobile both on and off road.

Helvalion Medium Tank (A7-1)
This Helvalion tank is the multirole of its tank class. It has decent armor, decent mobility, and a 76mm High Velocity cannon. It can support infantry and engage other armored targets, though it still isn't a heavy slugger. Usually it utilizes its speed and mobility to do hit and run tactics on enemy armor.

Helvalion Heavy Tank(A8-4)
One of the more newer additions to the armored forces, this is Helvalion's second heavy tank. It is armed with a hefty 88mm cannon and possesses very good armor. While its speed suffers from the weight, a very powerful Ragnite engine still keeps this thing on the move, making this a very deadly tank to both infantry and armored vehicles.

Helvalion Tank Destroyer(AT-3)
This tank's main purpose, as the name may tell, is to hunt and destroy other tanks. It has a lower profile and is armed with a 76mm High Velocity cannon. Combined with is great speed and mobility, it specializes in ambushing enemy targets and disappearing before they can properly respond.

Helvalion Armored Personel Carrier
This multiroled half track is mainly used for infantry transportation. It can carry up to eight men at time and is armed with a 12.7mm machine gun. Other variations include a mortar carrier and 57mm anti tank gun carrier.

Helvalion Armored Car
This is a very fast armored vehicle armed with a 20mm autocannon. Its main roles are reconnaissance and infantry support, but it is very vulnerable to any sort of anti armor or high calibur weaponry due to its light armor.

Helvalion Light Infantry Support Vehicle
This armored wheeled vehicle has slightly better armor than the armored care and posses a 37mm cannon as well as a 12.7mm machine gun. It has very good speed and mobility.

Helvalion Heavy Infantry Support Vehicle
This wheeled armored vehicle is a serious threat to tanks in any urban environment. While its armor lacking, its 75mm anti tank gun and 37mm autocannon combined with its great speed and mobility allows it to excel at hitting enemy targets and running. Other variations include an Anti Air version and snubbed 88mm Howitzer for artillery support.

Typical Armored Train
This armored train posses defensive turrents and a large, very heavy artillery cannon used to smash enemy lines to pieces.

-Navy Overview-
The navy is the branch that suffers most from neglect. While the quality of their ships is decent, their numbers are small and are mainly used to simply guard trade routes and the waters if the Greater Republic. However, the new leader of the Helvalion Navy is ambitious and seeks to build the Navy into a serious naval force to be reckoned with.

Helvalion Battleclass
A heavily armed and armored battleship type vessel, it is one of the more common ships. Its most notable armaments at its two 36cm cannons and four 26cm cannons. They are deadly heavy hitters, but are very vulnerable to submarines and aircraft.

Helvalion Destroyerclass
This is the newest and now second most common ship design of the Helvalion navy. It is a support ship that posses great anti air and anti submarine capablities as well as very fairly swift in the water. Its dual 88mm cannons also help it its ability to engage medium naval targets

-Air Force Overview-
The Helvalion Air Force is somewhat new to the scene, but has great promise. Currently it is mainly used to support the army and the navy, but with the newest addition of its first heavy bomber and talks of developing airships, the branch may evolve into its own in the coming years

K-17 Multi Role Fighter
This push engine aircraft benefits from being a rugged, powerful plane that has good climbing speed, dive speeds, and over all a very fast aircraft. It does, however, suffer from having slower turn times than other aircraft, thus it utilizes hit and run tactics as well as favoring head on dogfights and avoiding turn dogfights.

KH-14 Heavy Fighter
This twin engine aircraft is actually much more maneuverable than one would think and is all around a decent heavy fighter. It does, however, suffer from poor climbing abilities.

KB-4 Attack Aircraft/Medium Bomber
This twin engine aircraft also benefits from great speed and acts as a swift air to ground attack aircraft. It, of course, lacks in maneuverability.

B-7 Heavy Bomber
As previously stated, this is the newest addition to the Greater Republic's Air Force. This eight engine monster of the skies is armed with plenty of heavy defensive turrets, large bomb load, and long range bombing capabilities.
