Protectors.

He completely opens the wound, and launches the severed piece into the air. It eventually comes back down, hitting the beasts back, doing no damage. "Xerc, we need to kill this thing. Can you get inside of it?"

Protectors.

He scrambles to the protrusion, and grabs on. He then begins to use all of his strength to rip it off. This causes the beast to roar out, and become enraged. It then begins to quickly smash into the surrounding buildings, causing mass property damage.

Protectors.

As the beast writhes in pain from losing its eye, this causes Athe to stumble, but he hold on. Athe continues to climb, eventually reaching the top. "I hope you have a plan, cause I don't..." He says as he looks around, seeing a horn like protrusion coming from the beasts head. "Wait a minute... I have an idea."

Protectors.

The Behemoth quickly becomes annoyed by the attempted stabbing, and begins to shake violently. This causes Athe to almost fall while climbing up the beasts leg. "Calm down up there!" Athe yells, while holding on. He then continues climbing, and eventually is able to stand on its shoulder. With this, he hefts his sword into the air, and stabs it down into the shoulder joint. This causes the beast to cry out, and begin moving towards a building, obviously with the intent of smashing into it.

Protectors.

Athe just stands there, regaining his strength. The Vendor walks out next to him, "Tough day, Athe?" He looks to the Vendor, "If only you knew." They both laugh a little, then Athe picks up his sword. "Well, back to work." Athe says, and the Vendor begins walking back inside, "Oh yea. Have fun."
Athe then runs towards the beast, driving the blade straight into the beasts leg. Not doing much damage, but giving him something to climb onto.

The Behemoth didn't exactly appreciate the new people on its head and leg. It begins to shake, trying to throw you off. It obviously has thick skin, so it will take a lot of hits to the skin to even bruise it.

Protectors.

"Oh yea... This will be fun." He says as the ground shakes with the pounds of monstrous footsteps. Then, a behemoth of a monster rounds the corner. (It looks like the Behemoth from Evolve.) It looks around at the buildings and fleeing people, and begins lumbering down the street. Its broad shoulders are scraping against buildings on both sides of the street.

From the looks of it, this will be a tough fight, even for Xerc.

Protectors.

"Don't worry yourself about them. You obviously have more to think on. Your time will come." He says as he begins putting everything away.
"Oh, by the by, it will only get harder from here. Also, you may want to check outside." As he says that, Xerc faintly hears a scream, that sounds like it is quickly moving closer towards the shop. Suddenly, Athe smashes onto the sidewalk, landing on his back, and groaning in pain. "Xerc…" He says as he coughs. "A little help? Big... Guy..." He says as he begins to stand, obviously in pain, and using his sword to help him stand. "Okay... Okay... I'm good."

Protectors.

"I mean the humans. Day after day, I watch them. They come in and out of my store. I've watched them experience love, hope, and loss. Once, there was a human child born in this store. A couple came in, and the wife went into labor. The kid experienced his first breath in my shop. But us? We will never experience that stuff." He says, obviously envious of Humanity. "As for the Protectors, they only know how to protect. Most of them don't feel regular emotions. Most of 'em don't even know how to experience joy. Their methods are a bit rash, but they get the job done. It never really matters how many of 'em there are. Each of them fights like twenty men."

Protectors.

"Yeah. That sounds about right. They literally protect humans. Anything that could harm a human terrifies them." He says as he looks to the still active street. "Man, what I would give to live like them. Not a care in the world."

Protectors.

"Then maybe don't follow you gut." He says with a laugh. "I'm sure that your penchant for attacking Humans can be used. Words going around that some Humans are beginning to side with the Almighty powers."
