I think I've developed arthritis recently. I should probably invest in a better mouse pad or something.

High Priestess and Temperance are open. Justice might be, given that the player who reserved it hasn't appeared in a while.

I gave it some thought, and I think Temperance would be interesting to play. I'll see if I can whip up a character sheet by tomorrow.
Hello. Do you guys still have room for one more player perhaps?
"Definitely," she replied to Natasha. Although she was a little worried at the numbers, she knew they can handle it if they were all together.

The conversations were cut off when somebody unfamiliar suddenly began talking over Drake's watch. It was taking all of her willpower to not suddenly lash out at Nails for what she was seeing. Her knuckles were white as her fingernails dug into her balled up fist, and white hot rage was oozing off of her as she observed what was happening. The girl almost lost it when the guy switched over to the other victim and lifted her up with her hair.

"You... sick..." Her voice was growling, and she wanted to just reach out to Nails and sock him straight on.

Tocsax had tried to negotiate for a bit, but the call was cut rather abruptly before any answer came through which left the room in a very awkward silence before Mai broke it. "Drake. I know I said I'll handle Alice, but let me hit this guy first when we meet him." She'll make him suffer first.

Her anger was dispelled a little when she felt a little blood trickle off of her fist and she quickly released her hand to stop her fingernails from further damaging it. She quickly hid it in her skirt, silently hoping she could treat it before they have to leave.
Sorry, had to fix some last minute stuff that came up.
A voice brought her out of her small bubble of doubt.

"Healing."

It sounded so simple that she wanted to smack herself for thinking that attacking or waiting was the only thing she could do right now. She mentally thanked her Nobody companion as he rushed forward before she could respond.

As much as she wanted to keep an eye on Walpurgisnacht, Natasha had barely managed to get herself back to where they were. Mai quickly went forward and caught her fairy friend as she collapsed before handing her a Potion that she was carrying.

"You did great, Nat."

Although she didn't see Natasha's efforts from their location, she could tell that the fairy had contributed to the fight as much as the rest of them barring the swordswoman herself. She wished she was holding onto something other than just a Potion, but it was hopefully enough to help the fairy get back on her feet.

Looking back at the gigantic monstrosity, it was finally going down. The girl wished she could have done something to help with it, but for now, she let her comrades have the glory of taking it down.

Timeskip

Mai spent the two weeks reading about Panem and discussing it with whoever she found herself with whenever she sat down in the lobby or at the cafeteria. Such a system disturbed her, especially given how children were being forced into the act just to try and survive. It sickened her even.

She was in her room when she heard Gummi Ships had begun firing at something. She ran towards where Tocsax and the others were at. "These aren't the same guys as the ones who ambushed us before we left Madoka's world right?" She asked as she came into view of them.

The visuals of hundreds of troops occupying the Capitols and Districts worried her as they flashed on screen. "There's so many of them...," her voice trailing off.
Hi, sorry, hopefully that'll be my last period of inactivity for a while. A lot of work was suddenly dropped on us and I had to make sure that I finished everything while trying to not have a mental breakdown. I might be a little busy for a few more days but since the load has drastically lightened I should have something up soon.

The term is ending next week though, so I'll hopefully be a lot more active after that.
Mai brought back her attention towards Walpurgisnacht and away from the newcomer as her allies tried their hand at bringing the massive Witch down. The first few attempts didn't work, but eventually Natasha's attempt gave everyone else a chance to damage the massive being. "Sucks being a swordswoman sometimes." Although she was now capable of magic, she wasn't confident enough in her ability to do any noticeable damage towards their opponent and had decided to preserve her strength for when Walpurgisnacht gets close enough for her to swing at if she gets the chance.

"What can I even do against this thing?" The girl can move fast, but in this weather she'd only be risking getting hit by stray debris from being slowed down. Even up close, the Witch can be unpredictable due to its size.

For now, she watched her companions try and take it down one by one, while trying to not be blown away herself from the heavy winds.
I want to think my interest hasn't decreased, it's just that this university term has been really eating away at my free time randomly and very often.
@Letter Bee I was hoping to wait for @Lady Athena's post so that Mai could interact with Teuna. But if there isn't one tomorrow, I'll post.
The walk to the meeting room was uneventful, it was stepping inside the meeting room that someone caught her attention and stopped her in her tracks. "Who the-?" Mai blinked a few times, wondering who the heck this new person was. Somehow she could tell that this person wasn't an enemy, if anything she felt that he was familiar. But she was sure that she'd remember somebody who had hair like his and the jewelry protruding from his face. It looked painful, but he didn't seem to mind. As the girl walked to an open chair on the sides, she couldn't help but keep glancing at the guy every so often. "I feel like I should know this guy." She wanted to keep scrounging her brain for people, but there was a more pressing matter at hand.

She listened intently on Drake's exposition regarding the Surge Guardians, as well as his own involvement with the group. It was a lot to take in, but she was able to follow what each of them went through and what they can do. Although she had no objections with the partnering of Surge Guardians with them, she felt like she had to raise her hand and opinion. "I can see how you paired each of us up, but is it too much to ask that I take care of Alice as well? Let me finish what I got myself into." The little girl certainly left an impression on her. Even though Drake was saying that killing them was the only option, if he'd accept her proposal, she'd at least try and persuade the child to their side. She didn't even want to think about the worst case scenario. Her hand was shaking a bit, but she tried to not let it show.

Whatever Drake's answer was, her attention was brought over to Tocsax mentioning that Taka was out of commission. She made a mental note to drop by the infirmary after the meeting was over.

Timeskip

The next few days, she couldn't help but feel that they were being watched somehow. She had little magic experience, but she had enough battle experience to be able to tell when somebody is there or not when they're not actively trying to hide their presence. The girl didn't bring it up with anybody, thinking that she was probably just paranoid about meeting Alice again.

The wind was blowing hard from where they were standing, and she was barely keeping herself from being blown off her feet by stabbing her Keyblade onto the floor that they were standing on. She suddenly wished that she had left her kimono and hakama behind since the extra weight is making it difficult to keep her balance.

After a round of attacks from Tocsax and Homura, she noticed that somebody had suddenly dropped in and was shouting at them. "Who are you?" The new girl looked a few years younger than her, wearing a school uniform that doesn't look out of place for the modern day Japan that she read about in the library some time before. Mai wanted to point her blade at the newcomer, but the strong winds were telling her that that was a bad idea.
