Current I'm starting to get tired of all the liars I've let into my life. I think it's time to clean it up.

Okay, everyone! In an effort to move the days a long more quickly, I'm going to let you know that you don't have to participate in the next two days. The only two that are required to are myself and @Renny. You can volunteer to join though.

Today is Mara and tomorrow is Faeri. There will be some actual action, but none of it will be taking place during the festival. If someone wants to do festival stuff, be my guest.

Also, I know that Ezekial wants to get a weapon for Richard, feel free to purchase and do whatever. Just make sure that at the end of whatever you are doing you have your character go to bed. That way we can safely move on.
@Cynder
I can join Mopping Up as well. Or, Alistair can.
Posts posts posts! So many posts! Now.. I should work on mine before Alistair gets left behind!
Map can wait a little bit longer..

Odette

"You wont be able to handle this yourself, doctor. Two hands are better than one."
Odette took a step back after the boy vomited. How gross! Her attention was soon diverted as a giant bird flew out of the ground. It was definitely a shock and seeing it chased by a bunch of other pokemon somehow made her sad. She recognized it as the legendary bird pokemon, Zapdos and wondered how long the Regime had planned to keep it hidden. It wasn't right to keep pokemon cooped up. Lys sensed her anger and mewed at her quietly, breaking the girl out of her thoughts. Right. They needed to get the heck out of here before someone caught them. With the power now out, she assumed it would be silly to try and go out the gate now. They would have to find another way.

When the doctor suggested they go to the Wardenclyffe compound, Odette sputtered.
"How do you expect us to get in?" she hissed, "That place is off limits to just about everyone!" Still, if this kid was going to be saved, she would have to listen to the doctor. She had no idea where to get medical supplies, so she had no ideas on going anywhere else. All she had were some ragtag inventions that were absolutely no help. She and Lys knew how to get to the park, that was no trouble. With the power out, it would be easier to sneak around. The only problem now was making sure they didn't get caught. For that, they would need to rely on her trusty espeon. The pokemon would be the only warning they had.

Lys understood her duties and moved forward to check to see if it was all clear. Odette went back to the unconscious man and aided the doctor with carrying him.
"We will go with you, it would be wrong to leave you by yourself, especially after all you did to help my dear Lys. I owe you one." She shouldered the burden and waited for Lys to signal them to follow. It didn't take long for them get on their way.
@zaga2575
Its okay, we understand that real life takes precedence. :)
Sorry for the delay, I was working on something important.
I'll get my post up later today.
Kest

"Only a little." The taste of the cinnamon icing still lingered on Kest's tongue, and he smiled, "Its not as sweet as you though."

Before they could start walking, a young woman passed them by and offered a simple greeting, Kest turned from Veragwen for a moment and said, "It is indeed, goodnight ma'am."
He looked back to his princess and hooked his arm around hers and together they started walking. He left her take the lead, as he didn't really know where she lived. Two birds with one stone! Tomorrow he could get up early and bring her some flowers. That is, if he woke before her. It was unlikely.

"Marmalade was always strong, I think I just grew to admire her. She never backed down from the bullies that picked on her or anything. One time, she was getting really badly beaten by some older kids, so I stepped in and protected her. She hated it, but after that, I went everywhere with her." He paused and looked down, "After our mother passed away, it became all the more important to keep her out of trouble, so we went on the road. She took it much harder, because she was closer to our mother than I was. I made a vow that day to always be there for her, but she is her own person now. I have to hope she will keep herself out of trouble."

As if to disperse the topic, Kest shook his head and smiled at Veragwen. It must be hard for her to be alone all the time. That takes its own toll.
To her statement, he couldn't help but throw his head back and laugh. She really was sweeter than the icing on her bun. "I can't thank you enough for the offer, Vera. Had we not purchased a home, we would love to take you up on your offer."
Perhaps I could stay the night anyway. he pushed the thought away quicker than it had entered his mind. It was not what he wanted. Not yet anyway.
"Perhaps you and Mara could spend some time together. I have no idea what women do in their spare time. All my sister does is practice with her scythe.."

When they finally made it to the lovely Veragwen's home, Kest became suddenly nervous. This was the time that the man would give the woman a goodnight kiss. Should he do it? He wanted to. What if she pulled away though. Maybe a small one on the cheek. Yeah. That would be good.
"I had a great evening with you. I wish we could have spent more time together." he grinned, thinking of how he could possibly surprise her tomorrow. Then he blushed and looked her in the eye, as he leaned forward to kiss her cheek.

Once they had said their goodnights, Kest walked to his home slowly, trying to savor his night. It didn't last long as his house was surprisingly close to Veragwen's. He walked in and checked on Mara. Sound asleep in her bed. He gave her a quick kiss on the forehead and went to his own room. After he changed, sleep came upon him quickly. He, of course, dreamed of his warrior princess.
*makes popping noises with her mouth*

Okay, since Zaga is having issues, we are going to go ahead and move on without him. So should be two or so more posts before we end the night.

EDIT!
Once Ezzy posts, the night will be CLOSED! And we can move on to the next day!
Well.. I know where I want to put Alistair now.
In the only other rp he has been in, he was an undercover C.I.A. operative.
Odette

"Come on, Lys. We won't have another chance like this!"
Odette frantically packed some of her belongings, trying to decide what was the most important. She had some prototypes she needed to take, but a few of them were too large to put into her suitcase and she wanted to take more than just those. The only thing she could do was destroy them. Lys was also moving about in a panic. The espeon had her own pack to fill, though it was mostly toys.
It wasn't long before her pack was full of scattered clothes, most of her notes, and a few odds and ends. All that was left was to dispose of the other, much less important devices. Ones that, if left behind, could cause even more pain to pokemon.

All scientists knew that the Regime would always be able to find ways to use their inventions to hurt others, but most were too afraid to do anything about it. That or they didn't care enough. Odette and Lys weren't a special case among the scientists, there were many others that had formed friendships with their pokemon. She just couldn't handle it anymore.
"Give me a hand, would you? We need to get rid of these before we leave." The apartment she rented was very small, but those close to the labs usually were. Lys wasn't usually able to fully utilize her psychic ability in such a small space, but for the task of ripping apart her Lady's tools? It was enough. The pokemon focused, her eyes glowing, and lifted the objects into the air. With only the faint sound of ripping metal, they became indiscernible pieces of scrap metal. She looked up at her owner after her eyes lost their luminescence and mewed. "Good job, Lys. Lets go!" She picked up a few pieces that would be hard to come by outside of the city and exited the building.

Being that is was passed curfew, they would need to be very careful. If Odette was caught, they would certainly take Lys from her. Creeping along alley ways wasn't her favorite idea, but it was the best she could do. Lys acted as lookout, running ahead to make sure it was clear. There was a lot of activity tonight. Something must have happened.

They had gotten real close to an exit, it wouldn't be long now before they got their first taste of freedom. Odette knew one of the guards that was on duty there tonight. She had selected him specifically for her escape. He was dense and didn't ask too many questions, plus he hated pokemon more than half the military put together. He was a man, and all a man wanted was a woman he could conquer. Once she feigned interest in him, it was all too easy to get him to do what she wanted. All she needed to do was tell him she was going out to field test a new invention and he wouldn't stop her. She smiled, he would be punished once the Regime found out he let her go. Two birds with one stone.

Lost in thought, she didn't hear Lys's warning until it was too late. Then again, the figure ahead seemed to be familiar. Lys had gotten very ill not even a year ago and Odette took her to see one of the best vets in the city. She couldn't for the life of her remember his name, but even hunched over with some other person, she could recognize his porygon.
Some other person.
Was the doctor turning into a murderer? She could hear shouts coming from somewhere and from past experience, decided he needed the benefit of the doubt. He did save Lys after all.

Once she was close enough, she placed hand on his back.
"Doctor, please allow us to assist you." Lys sniffed the unconscious man and mewed quietly. So he was alive. Odette took one of his arms and wrapped it around her shoulder. So much for leaving through the gate without trouble. She had no idea why the man went to a veterinarian when he clearly needed to go to a hospital, but he looked very much like a rebel. "What is wrong with him? Can you do anything?"
