Pokemon Mystery Dungeon: It all Comes Together!

@The One Not trying to be rude or impatient, just wondering if we're going to be starting soon, been about a week of discussions and I think most people are ready to start.

Ana sat in the co-pilot seat, looking over the controls as she tried to familiarize herself with everything, “Oh, that’s fine, I don’t need to know everything, I don’t see myself getting into a fight with other ships, I could just really use a distraction right now,” she gave a feign smile that quickly faded, she hoped that she wouldn’t be a hindrance on the mission, she knew if she wasn’t focused on the task at hand, she would be a liability.

She glanced back when Maria spoke up, “No, I don’t mind, to be honest, I’ll actually be glad to be in a different set of attire, still not used to these things,” Ana responded with a chuckle as she motioned to her own set of robes. Even though she spent a few short years with the order, she still wasn’t entirely used to everything, such as the rules as well as the robes that they wore, but she didn’t mind them and she was at least thankful she was with them, she didn’t know where she’d be if her former master hadn’t found her and brought her in.

Ana glanced out the cockpit window, watching as the hues of hyperspace flew by, she wondered how long it would take to get to their destination, she was looking forward to getting her feet on the ground as well, to be doing something instead of being stuck in one place, she was always like that, but recent events didn’t exactly help with that, but she would try her best to remain patient.

“Oh, well lucky them,” she responded in a jokingly sarcastic tone, after they finished discussing what little they knew of the mission and the pleasantries were done with Ana boarded the ship with Valdis and Maria, she was curious of how Valdis came to be with the Jedi, most people held prejudices towards them and she imagined that even the Jedi would be reluctant to have one in their ranks, but she knew it wasn’t her place to question such things.

Once they were off, Ana checked over her gear once more, everything she needed seemed to be there, at least it was one less thing to worry about, she still couldn’t help but be curious about the mission they were going on, however with none of them knowing anything further, pressing for more information would be impossible. Seeing as there wasn’t much to do, she set her bag to the side and then sat down on the floor of the ship, closing her eyes as she began to meditate and try and calm herself a little more, she may have been keeping a decent outward appearance, but inside, she was still feeling a whirlwind of emotions that wanted to come to the surface.

“There is no emotion, there is peace...” she whispered to herself, feeling the emotions inside beginning to settle a little.

What little peace she managed with her emotions didn’t last however, once more they came swirling back and her meditation was broken, “Alright, guess that won’t work, perhaps a distraction will ease my thoughts,” Ana spoke to herself once more; glancing over to the cockpit, she added, “Suppose learning a little how to fly a ship could help,” she then made her way over to Valdis, “Think you could teach me a little on how to fly a ship? If it’s not too much trouble I mean,” Ana never had much interest in piloting, but knew she would need to learn one day and unfortunately, her previous master never got the chance to teach her.

@The One Great! Sounds like it could be interesting, hoping to expand on her family as we get into it, but for now decided to keep them a bit vague. :)

Flare the Vulpix

Species: Vulpix
Level: 1

Personality: Flare is generally laid back, she likes to nap whenever she can, her favorite spots are ones that are either cold or shaded or both if she’s lucky enough. She tends to get along with others and has a cheery disposition. The only Pokémon she has issues with are ones that are self-absorbed and arrogant, she dislikes those kind the most and tends to avoid them as much as possible unless circumstances force her to be around one.

Bio: Flare didn’t really begin her Pokémon journey when most did, she waited a few years, mostly due to how timid she was at first; during those years, she did little other than help manage her parents’ store from time to time, along with her younger brother assisting her. The repetition of doing that each day eventually made her grow a little stir crazy, craving something new, she decided to start her journey and begin traveling around the region.

The next day, she got on her bike and began riding it to professor Stonewood’s lab to get her first partner and then be on her way, however she had woken up late and halfway there, it began to rain heavily, causing the dirt road to the lab to become muddy and slippery, in her haste to get to the lab and escape the rain, her bike slid from under her when she tried to make a turn and she ended up rolling down a hill and bumping her head on a tree, knocking her out cold.

When she woke up, she wasn’t where her bike had crashed, even more surprising to her, she found herself to have paws and a red tail, upon looking at her reflection in a small pool of water, her appearance was that of a Vulpix, now she’s trying to figure out how she got here and why she’s a Pokémon and how she can get back to normal.
