The Dead and the Dying

Looking to start a zombie rp since I can't find one (i blame my laziness). Just going to make crap up as I go along.

This story will begin before the outbreak, during, and after. By the start of the rp, the virus (whatever it is) has already begun spreading across the world. So it will be somewhat known, however, when it hits it will be sudden and extreme.

It will go along the same rules as the walking dead television show, for the most part. By that I mean the zombies will be similar, except not everyone is already infected and they don't turn when they die. The term 'zombie' does not exist in this world either, because it just sounds dumb when used and takes away from the immersion. Other than that, they are basically the same. Kill the brain! In the beginning, zombies can run or move faster, but as time goes on their body ages up and they become walkers.

As far as the setting, I'll keep it simple. Such as 'the city', the 'forest', etc. Names of places can be made up by the writer, this is because most zombie rps I've seen are based in a specific place, such as Atlanta, and not everyone knows about Atlanta. The writer will be free to create areas and places, for example, if you want a beach or some sewers, go for it. Whatever helps to write. Realism is still key, however.

Name: Dallen Larson
Occupation: Lawyer.
Personality: Grim.
Bio: Everyday is generally the same for Dallen. He goes to his law office and the city courts frequently, and when the day comes to an end he usually heads over to his favorite bar. He smokes way to much and his lungs hurt quite often, but he could care less about his health problems. He has no family or friends, as he lost his wife and child to a car accident in his earlier years.

pretty sure, yet not sure, it's not my computer. Since everything elsewehere is fine. But, (and im not sure if im typing this corrctly cause i cant see the font)) anyway, when i first came here there was no problems. After reading here for a long perid of time, suddenly the test shrinked. Happened a few days ago which was fine, but now it shrinked even smaller. How do I fix said problem?? PS. im not very computer savvy...savvy? Im young, but have been using a typewriter all my life until recently. just n case u were wondering. Now im babbling lol shut up. im a drunk dont judge me.

Sex/Gender: Male.
Age: 31
Sexuality: straight.
Place of Birth: A small coastal village on the Guratan and H'kelan borders.

Biography: Dalious was born to a whore and a sellsword. His mother died at birth, and his father years later in battle. He was taken in by an orphanage at a young age, though he soon ran away on his own to make his own life for himself. He, as a teenager, became a successful thief, and soon managed to join a band of bandits known as the red flag gang. Here, he learned simple tactics of sword fighting and mercenary work, but it only lasted until he was a young man. The gang was eventually captured and/or killed by members of Chief Kisarin's tribe. Dalious, being the youngest, was spared and sold into slavery. He would eventually be bought by a fisherman named Bernen, who put the child on a better path in life. This was to be his end, except for the war that changed everything. Bernen fell within the first raid of attacks on their village, and Dalious fled to the oceans. He became a man of the seas, wandering and pirating until present times.

Personality: Witty, charming, confident, brash, bold, sarcastic, cunning, egotistical, narcissistic, prideful, arrogant, selfish, etc.

Likes: The sea. Women. Whiskey. Sea food. Dragongrass. Adventure. Women. Weapons. Strategy. Wind. Challenges. Ale. Women. Card games/pirate dice. Gambling. Vodka. Rum. Money/loot. and women. and TREASURE!

Dislikes:Government. Laws/rules. Chains. People. War. Magic. Skunks. Hell, magic skunks!

Skills/Strengths: Sailor. He has been traveling the oceans for most of his adult life. He can swim like a seal and moves well in water. Thievery. Is silent in the shadows and moves around like a cat. Swordsman. Prefers two swords in combat, as that is what he has trained with the most. Strategy. Has won all of his battles at sea due to being more cunning than his opponents. He can read the wind changes well, and knows how to not get surrounded.

Flaws/Weaknesses: Has a weakness for booze, money, and women. So much so that the desire for one of those things could easily be a trap for him that ends his life (and he knows this). Is not good with ranged weaponry, save for a spear that he uses for fish. Prefers one on one combat where he thrives, but is little to nothing against magic. He considers magic unfair.

Weapons/Equipment: Duel swords at his hips. Both medium in size. One for defense, though he is both orthodox and southpaw, so he can switch them if needed. A blunderbuss, which he made himself (and that doesn't really work all that well). He stuffs the weapon with anything really, and it is only good for close range.

Appearance: (Edward Kenway from Assassins Creed Blck Flag) Dalious is handsome and athletically fit. Years of swimming have sculpted the man's body into a chizzled masterpiece (as he would call it). He has tattoos all over his back and arms of rare maps and other sea related things, such as compasses, creatures, ship layouts, etc.

He has a hard, firm jawline and fair skin, though it is often covered by his facial hair. His eyes are as blue as the ocean, and his hair comes down to his shoulders. He has brownish/blonde locks, but at the right setting of the sun, his hair may look golden.

Inspirations: Jack Sparrow and Edward Kenway I suppose, but moreso because I'm a drunk and wish I was a pirate lol.
