erikhForming the appropriate hand seal, Kakashi had set to work on exposing Sakura to a multitude of different scents. The aroma of a fresh bowl of ramen, similar to what they had recently eaten, would come to be detected first. Next had come barbecued meat that offered an aroma so tantalizing that one would almost believe they were sitting in a restaurant with it directly in front of them. With the scent of pleasant and mouthwatering meals being covered in a small but recognizable variety, Kakashi had begun to delve a little deeper. The smell of rain offered a unique scent, especially when it was coupled with that of wildflowers. To imagine herself being surrounded in a field of various plant life while allowing herself to be drenched in the rain was on longer just a thought, it was becoming reality. The sensation against her skin and the chill down her spine was illusion, but through her eyes and throughout her senses she could be convinced that what she was sitting through was real. The rainfall was beginning to pick up, and the wind that had been so kind to her beforehand was now coursing against her body and threatening to sweep her off her own feet.
The bitter howl of the winds was momentarily halted by the sound of roaring thunder and the flash of lightning overhead. What pleasant sensations she felt moments ago were becoming overwritten by a nightmarish storm where both wind and rain no longer caressed her skin, but battered and tore against it without remorse. Her teacher remained unmoved by his own devices, instead focused on keeping Sakura rooted into the harshest of situations where her very reality was destroyed before her own eyes. It was becoming too loud to even hear herself think, and between the flashes overhead came thunder that tore into the forests nearby. Wood splintered and trees fell in response to nature's cruelty.
The scent of smoke had turned to mud, and the howling winds had begun to carry her voice should he have tried to cry out in alarm.
