Eeeeeh agreeing to disagree then. Normally I'd agree but given the context of the situation I'd see it happening.

That sounds good to me.
Cliche to sustain a harsh injury, or the fact Asami would hurt someone close to her? I don't see it as cliche, I just see it as a very real thing happening because she isn't in control of herself. She has the potential to hurt just about everyone in the vicinity, but Mako would be the first one to try and stop her without harming her, thus opening him up to a wound. That's just me though =/

She wanted training, she's getting it. All worth it in the end <3
Well we're here, why not? xD Yeah not an abusable skill by Xano, just something he has in bad spots, and even then its not as ridiculous as the witch from the original series. Mako got it because whatever I guess, I don't think the creators even bothered to really set into stone WHY people can suddenly do this when it took insane levels of skill to grasp in the first series, but then again they didn't care about a lot in Season one, as they didn't think they'd get more seasons. Asami can probably work on it but it probably takes months on months to fully control. I could see her doing it in her berserk mode and mortally wounding Mako :O

We can ignore it, no problem, gonna decide how to make her life hell next xD
We'll totes discuss kidnapping children when the time comes, I think we're getting a little far as far as plotting goes anyway. I'm not too worried about the special bending as you, there won't be any fighting for quite some time. I will say that Xano having the potential to blood bend has been on my mind but not to the point he's a gamebreaking asshole like Amon, maybe one or two people at a time or something, and DEFINITELY no physically taking their bending. Asami may or may not have the potential for it, Lightning can be debatable after a long period since her ancestry already gave her the potential for it.

I WILL agree that I didn't like how lightning went from only the absolute elite being able to master it, to just anyone, enough to power generators >.> but oh well.

Good post by the way, but I'm gonna gently lay out some things for you since I think you got confused xD

Hokage > Konohagakure/Hidden Leaf
Raikage > Kumogakure/Hidden Lightning
Kazekage > Sunagakure/Hidden Sand
Tsuchikage > Iwagakure/Hidden Rock
Mizukage > Kirigakure/Hidden Mist

You confused Mizukage for Hokage, and I think you must have thought I was the one confused xD just letting you know~ Kakashi will cover the actual Second Hokage at some point, maybe next post, maybe in the next few.
Water did make sense but I wanted her to continue to appreciate what it's like not having complete access yet. If anything she probably already has that connection. She only wants to reclaim the things she did not have easy access to before. It's not too important at the moment, working on earth bending was the primary while Tenzin was away.

There was a Mayor in place for the people rather than just the council, the mayor began to make decisions for Republic City, I don't think the council of benders were respected anymore after the betrayal of the water bender. I believe the mayor had more power than the council did after that.

He wasn't leaving period. I only said that in case you wanted to retcon Katara's presence. :3

Okay, talk can come tonight then :3

That's what I'm saying. Lin held on to that pain for years and all Toph wants her to do is get over it as if Toph hasn't been the biggest influence on her life, ever. Toph didn't need to show any weakness from Lin's words, but it's a fact that Suyin did nothing but be a disappointment to her mother's memory during her youth while Lin did her best to make Toph proud, yet Suyin can get away with it and Lin gets disregarded? I just wasn't comfortable with how Toph was handled, period. I get she's the hardcore mom but she had feelings and could understand emotional pain, so for her to discover that Lin had never really felt like Toph loved her more than anything kind of ruins her as a parent to me. She just did not care enough, but she also understood if Lin hated her, so I can at least applaud her for realizing that, hey, she wasn't the worlds greatest mother. I do wonder about Kanto and where he went, he must have REALLY disliked Toph to not see Lin because of her. Lack of closure for me, definitely. I think it's depressing enough that Katara is a lonely grandmother in the south while her children and grandchildren are so far away. I'd understand if she was there to watch over the new Avatar but after Korra left there was no reason to remain. Team Avatar was just old and lonely. Not even a single HINT as to Sokka's fate and Suki didn't even get a flashback cameo. They could have done better.
Bolin will be closer to the police than Korra, so yeah that's what I was meaning~

Hm, in that case, maybe just walk her home will be the solution.

For a Borra fan you REALLY want them to take some time, might I ask why them out of everyone else? Also, I thought Asami was getting water bending next? Fire > Water >Earth/Air. I'm flexible but water bending was really the thing that was going to put everyone on red alert, especially Korra and Mako, and then yeah probably some fake assassins to test her. As far as Tenzin's job goes, should we have Republic City continue to be managed by benders and ignore the mayor decision the city made in season 2?

I had Katara already arrive due to the minor skip of Pema falling ill and Tenzin sending word to the south, but this was months prior to us starting up again, so if you want me to retcon that and have Tenzin go get her himself we can do that, and she can have passed on his way back, or just before, I can do either. If you want we can let Lin and Pema have that talk with Tenzin that night, unless you want to give it another day due to Lin's insane emotional turmoil?

This is fucking hard man. We need to keep track of three pairings and make sure everyone's gotten enough development X.X Pema can die within the next few days, I know that much.

I like Toph but I wasn't really comfortable with the fact she accepted she was a harsh mother and Lin always felt so bad when it came to being her daughter. I'd need to see the resolution again, but I don't remember really enjoying it. As far as my crazy couples go, KuviraxKorra is my limit xP
Oooh so it would be BOLIN WHO KNOWS and who might tell Korra? Nice change of pace, given he already accidentally blew the whistle on Korra kissing Mako, at least this time it would be an intentional whistle blowing xD

Okay, I'll figure out if Lin goes or stays then, we can be flexible. A month of time passing would mean we'd need to go through the rounds of everything we want to take care of first. Asami and Mako being 'on' again before the skip would be nice, so we'd need a little more time for them to accept each other again. Korra strengthening her bond with Bolin and dedicating herself to grasping her Earthbending again would also be doable. We may also want Korra to know Asami can firebend now before the skip, and by the time the skip ends we can have Korra and Asami working together with fire, with Mako?

Kuvira is a boss ass bitch though and I swear I was totally down for her and Korra to get down. I was just fucking Shia about it when the finale came. "WHAT ARE YOU TWO WAITING FOR? DO IT! KISS HER!" but alas my dreams remain dreams. I also knew you'd probably ship Zaheer with Korra and make it a rivalry thing, something just told me X.X
Okay, I think all of that is good. He may just need to turn in because he might have an early day tomorrow, same as Bolin, and they might not get in until at least 10:00? I might be overcalculating but time flies when you're having fun X.X and Master Mako? Awwwwww, that's cute dude!

Well Korra knows that something big is going on and it's a little odd that the Avatar isn't being utilized. It's just another way for Korra to feel somewhat insecure given she's got the weight of the world on her shoulders 24/7. Bolin can either convince her to take it one day at a time and not worry about the future so much, or indulge her by helping her think about what could really be going on based on what Korra heard. Since when does Tenzin do anything with Lin that late? It's gotta be super important, so she thinks. If he doesn't indulge I can see them trying to put those three to bed for Tenzin.

I thought Lin wanted to check up on the family, and maybe offer Lin the chance to spend the night whenever she'd like. She just admitted she was lonely, the last thing he'd want for her to feel is that. Both options offered do work, although that's a long way to walk for a nightmare xD maybe it should only occur after Pema passes? I think eventually ...EVENTUALLY ...Korra is going to start thinking that Lin really wants to get close to Tenzin for more than a shoulder. Lin doesn't seem like the type to lie well when embarrassed, and maybe Bolin might join in and say that that isn't the face of a hardened police chief. Then Lin can threaten to arrest them or something xD I'll figure out which by the next post, walking home does sound good!

Genkai, she's a crazy attention-needing bitch, when do they ever make sense? And HA, I TOLD YOU OPAL WAS A BITCH! I TOLD YOOOOOUUUUUU!
Hey, sup? I slept like all day, so I might be up all night :C

So, awesome post, you put me to shame as usual. I wanted to ask if we can find a conclusive time that Mako and Bolin got off and went home. My original idea was for Mako to be a little tired and dozing off from looking over the handbook of becoming a man of the law, either dozing off in the living room with it sitting on his lap or trying to drink a little coffee to stay awake long enough to review it. Of course the location does not matter, I just want to know how dark it is. Is the sunset still ongoing? Are the stars coming out? etc. Also excited Asami is adorable ;3 I can write a little montage of them shopping and getting something to eat together, just need to know if you had any ideas you'd like to add for that, or a stopping point you prefer to take over at.

Bolin was awesome, I think I'll have Korra confide with him about what she overheard and maybe have him reassure her that if Lin and Tenzin were to really need her they would ask? Eventually it may come to a point where she can't respect Lin's authority and investigate on her own, but that's a long ways away. Other than that, alone time at the crib for now, just taking care of those airbabehs <3

Lastly, Tenzin and Lin, awesome, I'm stuck between Tenzin debating on refusing her and walking her home (to not expose her to a worried environment). However, Lin is also quite lonely, and I think Tenzin can better emphasize with her desire to be close to them and will indulge. So I'm really not sure what I'll decide on from here. You have a preference?

Also lets name crazy bitch assistant Dawn :D
WAYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY TOO LAZY LOL

Sending assassins after Asami for her to defeat? Sounds epic! I don't think Xana and Xano are necessarily enemies of Tenzin and Lin anyway, but they know enough to understand they'd do anything for those kids, and so they'll abuse that if they have to. Everything else sounds solid, but something crossed my mind. Could Asami tap into bloodbending during her rage?
