Nothing juicier than a secret relationship, that's for sure. Eventually though, Sakura's going to be playing for the long term and Ino can't cover the long term. An entire weekend staying with him is bound to have someone notice, and if Mebuki talks to Ino's mother and finds out that Sakura never showed up ...well, DANGER, DANGER, DANGER!

I don't see Tenzin being completely down for more than a couple weeks because this dispute with benders killed his wife who had never done a criminal action in her life. He'll have moments of weakness remembering that he wasn't able to take care of her, but the longer he hides away the more painful it will become. If we skip an entire month, we'd need to fill in a ton of blanks as far as the relationship development of everyone else is concerned.

So: I vote one week, or at least no more than two. What about youuuu?

I can only imagine Sakura hitting town and showing off an engagement ring WAAAAAAAAY into the future though. Then the husband and wife duo are all, "I remember when you two were simply dating! Ah, to be young and in love!"

Well that's the joke - what ARE the odds of that, really? Ino needs to calm her gossiping ass down though when she hears about this. Cause let's be real, Sakura can't keep this from Ino, Ino is gonna either be told or she's going to put it together when Sakura's NOT GOING HOME AND THEN LYING ABOUT BEING AT HER HOUSE! Hm, the day they make it known would make things easier on them, yet the Tsunade and Mebuki side plot will offer its share of difficulties. They'll find a means of recovering, somehow.

And then Pema ...passing away ...fuck, we were going to give it a week after this right? Or were we going to handle most of the next day in some form and THEN skip? Cause I can't write the pain, dude, I couldn't possibly get him to talk to anyone for a few days.

Yeah they will take turns on it. It'll probably be so easy for them to flip that switch eventually - and remember: It's not being dishonest if you don't care to correct them. So they did not LIE, they simply did not rewrite the view people had of them. Then they're so good at pretending that when the real thing ends up beginning to happen they're both surprised.

I don't think anyone in Konoha would be able to assume that until something big happens, like Sakura holding his hand down a market street and shopping with him. I'll admit I came up with the funny idea of someone seeing them in Konoha and remembering them from the town they're in and how they're a couple, and then loudly asking them how they're getting along being young lovers, and then people hear it, and then Kakashi starts sweating SUPER BADLY cause they were playing with fire and now its burning them xD and makes it worse if Sakura's parents are around xD

Yeah I think it'd probably be too much, but the date night discount is a perfect idea. Naruto and Ino would kill this place. They would be the epitome of 'young' and 'in love' xD Maybe I should handle the details on the mission while Sakura embraces the confusion of Kakashi being her boyfriend?
