I hope you know that I HAVE to make Korra pretty immature, and that if it were up to me she'd take everything much better than she will. I only want to make sure you don't get mad at me if she's a brat xD

I think we should table-of-contents upcoming plots of our rp's so we understand what the order of operations is going to be. We have the upcoming arcs, but not everything is in order :C

I acknowledge the fact that Taro is just a low-budget Zabuza and that he was just some arc we made up to let these two get out on the road together. I'll let you know if I come up with anything related to the experiments, but I don't have plans to give Taro a greater motive than money and possibly revenge on the Leaf for something that happened in the previous war.

Yes. No one knows she's in a bad spot as far as bending is concerned. Though Korra eavesdropped, she did apologize, which I hope Lin will keep in mind. We all make mistakes and Korra's still growing up.

She'd respect it. HOWEVER, she's going to give Mako some SERIOUS shade once she knows that he knew about Asami developing bending and, with her, decided not to tell anyone about it. Looks like a combination of special treatment AND that Asami knows something about all this that she's not letting on, thus sparking the conflict between the ladies.

A rogue ninja attracts much less attention than a former Sannin who successfully killed a major village's leader. Taro was just used to kidnap children for experiments. I think they'll come to find out that none of the experiments had gone through yet, since Orochimaru did not arrive yet. Kabuto was coming to check on their investment, which is when he encounters Kakashi and Sakura destroying that operation. Taro wasn't the smartest, but he was strong enough to watch a bunch of children--or so they thought.

That's the hardest part of Korra right there: she can do very little in this situation. It frustrates her as much as it does Tenzin, however Tenzin is receiving up-to-date information whenever he can while Korra is just hearing second-hand information, and what little Bolin can tell her without risking his job. It couldn't hurt to tell Korra, even if the 'good' it would do is simply keeping her working with the police. She's a rogue, and this disease is attacking benders. If for any reason Korra believes Lin will not allow her to know anything, it may, eventually, urge her into trying to find things on her own.

That puts Bolin in an uncomfortable spot, no?

It's kind of a gift and a curse. I think it makes us flexible, and flexibility is good. We can always surprise one another :D~~~

I think we're just playing it by ear, rather than plotting things out further. Taro is a work-in-progress I didn't intend to live past this arc, but who knows, maybe he'll be a recurring threat. All that mattered at the time was these two bonding when they did very little of it in the show/manga, so we can keep that priority number 1.

That works just as well. I'm also wondering just how long I can plausibly keep Korra out of this; people are beginning to die. With half of Team Avatar working with the law, that means renegade actions are likely not going to be welcome. Lin and Korra must join forcessss~
