Not making an excuse. Season One sucked COCK, there's no doubt about it. Their priorities were just garbage. Went for a romance ending no one would have cared about. Aang could have ended up single at the end of the original series and the show would still be great. I'm not sure why Toph did the things she did, and why she chose to be in exile in a swamp rather than be with her family in her final years. Everyone just seemed to accept it. I wonder if it's because she's thinking about Sokka, the one that got away xDDD

The simple things in life are often the most precious. I also think that Mako wasn't comfortable with a date that cost a lot of money, for obvious reasons.

It wasn't intended to be a sympathy thing but I do see where you are coming from. But the point is that Mako's actions, with Korra's disregard for their relationship, does make her trigger it early. Mako IS a jerk, and he DID put a knife in all their flawless romancing thus far by being jealous of his brother spending time with someone that made him happy. He'd deserve a scalding tbh.

They didn't have time, I guess. But if they didn't have time to make a convincing romance, they should have focused on friendship building. Korra's Team Avatar is dogshit compared to the old group. And we still don't know what the fuck happened to Sokka, and Suki didn't get an appearance either. The fuck, man. And Ty Lee! I LIKED TY LEE DAMN IT!

It won't be an evening at home then. A walk through the park? Something light, where they can get some air and privacy. With so many people going to the game, the park may be nearly empty at that time of night. And like you said, they catch wind of the attack and race there to check on the others.

Oooh. Do you want to reveal it out of Asami's temper being flared because of Mako? Should she burn him on accident because he didn't expect it (and neither did she)?

There was respect between them, but they never had the chemistry that Bolin did with Korra alone. Mako just seemed like he was too good for anything. Development is our middle name. It always is.

Without a substitute fire bender on hand, Bolin and Korra couldn't play (and I say that because I believe Korra is only allowed to use one element, Water, otherwise it wouldn't be fair that she can switch elements and get a substitute that's available for water and all). Mako and Asami can use the next night for each other. They'll hear about the attack the next morning or in the middle/near the end of it. It's Mako's 'repair what I have fractured' night, so he's going to try not to get distracted.

I don't know if they'll be really good friends considering what Korra is doing and how Bolin is oblivious to it. Asami's reaction is understandable. It never would have happened if he didn't dig his nose in that.

I don't think it was anything against the sport, just against benders. Pro-bending distracted the citizens and made it seem like everything was normal, which Amon was against. Pro-benders are the closest things to bending celebrities in that city, so destroying the sport by making those he missed not want to play anymore and hide seems exactly what he would want.

It depends on where Asami and Mako were at the time. If they were at the arena, then the event becomes larger on the scale. If they were on a date, then they just hear about it, maybe see the Zeppelin from wherever they're chilling.

LOL Asami would LITERALLY.... LIIIIIITERALLY be PACING WHERE SHE STANDS, WONDERING WHAT DIABOLICAL PERVERSIONS KORRA COULD POSSIBLY BE UP TO WITH HER MAN. AND THEN ASAMI WOULD COME OVER. EVERY. DAY. AND GRILL MAKO XDDDDDDDDDDD

The arena's destruction was because of an Equalist attack via a Zeppelin and basic infiltration, I think. If I recall, Amon said he'd attack it if pro-bending didn't stop. Lin was like, "LOL OKAY" and did it anyway I THINK. Or it was someone else who was like "LOL K", and then he did it and it was destroyed anyway. We could make it so he just blew the stadium up shortly before the game??

I'm not lazy, I just don't want to go back and cringe lmfao. They were gonna go off and do something and Mako confronted her. I will say that Korra's not going to be that enthused given how Mako looked at her when it was done, but she won't be sad. Probably just as confused as Bolin lmao.

It makes Mako worse if instead of getting ready to go out that night, he was going to confront Korra about something like that. I say it was out of the blue, but not entirely unwelcome. Mr. Sato can be gone doing evil Equalist stuff and that can leave Asami to tear Mako a new one.
