I considered that but I thought it would make me too full of shit to just make a plant that wards demons xD He'll plead Koenma to keep an additional eye on Shiori where he can't, since the only weakness Kurama has is honestly Shiori and Botan, and Botan can at least see and deal with demons to an extent.
Actually, I think option 1 would work, but I don't see Ino thinking anything of it except finding it odd that Shikamaru approached Sakura for anything in the first place considering they never, ever talked until the Sand attacked the Leaf. It starts innocent enough. Ino's a teasing girl but I don't think she'd just jump into the whole "Over Sasuke already, I see." and suggest that Shikamaru was anything other than cordial with her. The point is for Ino to see Shikamaru as someone worth being with, but I don't think she sees him as more than a good friend at the moment.
I just see the work you put in and I enjoy returning the favor. Can't do that this time, but yeah, what's coming up should be beneficial.
Yeah the Shiori involvement wouldn't occur until waaaay down the line. But Botan being under threat would have him take some precautions to protect Shiori, I gotta figure out what that is though~
Oooh, a house call... that's when you know he's serious. That could work, or he could run into her on her way to Tsunade's since Ino might have mentioned her training with Sakura under Tsunade and how it's going. No option is a wrong one here. I will take Sakura's home or running to catch up to her while she's on her way to work with Tsunade. Maybe her mother told him he just missed her, etc, etc.

No no no, we HAVE to skip now. Asami is not talking any further and she has aired everything out. What I mean is, your post had the ability to be spread out in at least three different posts and we could have made this more of a discussion between Mako and Asami, rather than Asami airing out every grievance and not allowing Mako an opportunity to try--emphasis on TRY--to speak to her about this. Instead, much of my post will end up absorbing the heartache and anger and confusion before I get Mako to talk to Bolin the following morning. Does that make sense?

Btw I'm not mad and I'm not blaming you for anything. Just finding it a waste that we pressed so hard and passed by a really good conversational opportunity. We always have the next night, so there's that!
Yeah, that was what I was thinking. At least Kurama can see that its running deeper than just what's going on in public, and it's a drastic change from who she was days ago. The talk at dinner featuring a more confrontational Botan could yield more insight. And as we know, Kurama is NOT dumb, so he's going to figure out that she is being influenced. Just as he does, boom, evil student, yadayada exposition, save Botan, free her from control.

That order is all fucked up right now.

Hey, I'm thinking we should dial it back, or at least be more mindful of the amount of time we cut. I think we could've done a few good posts with what Asami had said as a whole. I mean, what are we in a hurry for, really? How do you feel about it?
You can probably do dinner unless you think we can generate a decent conversation about Botan's attitude during lunchtime. He just wanted to get her alone to have time to figure her change in attitude out. Coral works fine for me.

I'll edit real quick.
And we're back on the path again. I think I might have rambled a little too much but I couldn't find anything that HAD to be cut in one look through. Then again by the end of it I was pretty sleepy, hehe.

So I think in your next post you could end it by Botan having some sort of outburst with Shiori? Botan's absentminded, slower in body, probably weaker too, but I wanted it to be more of a slow burn and not have it happen so fast. It struck me as sensible to make the student's manipulation of her emotional and mental state to be more intense since he would now know for sure that Botan isn't just a new girl, and that she was one of Koenma's pawns. So maybe this buildup won't take AS long, but it won't happen SUPER fast. Like, maybe at dinner with Shiori is when the irritability settles in, and Shiori's concern is not something Botan ignores but becomes tired of, so she says something a little too aggressive and heads to her room where Kurama tries to confront her about what's really going on.

The bad student confronting Kurama and Botan's near-suicide would have to happen tomorrow, since there's no chance in hell it would take that much longer for Kurama to figure out that Botan fell under the sway of the enemy. Does this sound agreeable to you, or do you want us to slow it down more?

Also, I used the 'coral' code. Let me know if you like it or if a new one is in order :D
