December 12, 1997.
The case was of a double homicide, two young males, now known as the Shime brothers. Were brutally strangled, their wrists and ankles had marks showing they were tied down. It was a loss for the community, as well as the county station.
It wasn't until a year later that a witness came forward. Another young male, a friend of the Shime brothers he said. He was shaking while he told his story of what happened. His story is as told below.
We were hanging out, by the old café down the road when everything went black. When I woke up we were all tied down to these red stained chairs. I was the first in the line the younger brother next to me and the older one next to him. I saw her first; she was smirking as she watched us struggle in the bonds.
“Look who we have here, three new friends."
It was the lady, I knew it was. I looked back the brothers before looking were I heard her voice. She wasn't sitting on the table like before I looked away now she was behind us. One of her fingers was tapping on a jar. The younger brother called out first, he yelled for her to let him go. All she did was laugh.
“Let you go... I’ll let you all go in good time... but since you asked I don't mind, letting you go first."
I pulled at the restraints trying to get closer to him but the chair seemed to be stuck to the floor. The lady walked up to him pulling the side table with the jar on it closer to him. Opening the jar she put a finger to her lips looked at him then us and walked behind him.
Her hands lashed out and camped around his neck. Her knuckled turned white as she squeezed his neck. We both screamed as she watched him pass out. She went on to place a small half heart in the jar. She in one motion broke his neck the cracking sound echoing around the room. Holding open his mouth we watched in horror as a white smoke like substance drifted into the air. Picking up the jar she held it up to the smoke and laughed as it rushed in.
“Who wants to be let go next." After that it goes black again and I wake up.
