If 93% of conversation is nonverbal, why don't more people shut up?

Diego was surprised that someone had reacted quickly enough to reach and check his heartbeat. Luckily, he had prepared for this. As the man approached, he began to settle down, and soon, he pretended to faint, in hopes that they wouldn't catch his bluff. Unfortunately, Diego had actually had one too many drinks, and moments after he felt the hand touch his heart, he accidentally genuinely fell asleep. It seemed that playing dead hadn't worked the way he had planned.
I've done something that will hopefully bring the contest to a close
Everything was going according to plan for Diego. After his fifth mug, he fell to the floor, grabbing his chest in pain. "AGH!!! THE PAIN!!!" Diego was bluffing. His goal was to get someone to think he needed medical attention and offer him a place to sleep. He looked pleading at the other people in the bar, fake tears dripping down his face.
Diego was ready for a nice night handing out at the bar. He usually found a way to get a free drink or too and tonight was no exception. Immediately, Diego took great interest in the drinking challenge. What was better than alcohol and women? "Count me in!" Said Diego. Soon afterwards, he was given a few mugs and drowned down four, better than most had managed. However, Diego became drunk rapidly, but managed to continue drinking. He slowly began singing loudly between drinks, and was the third most successful person in the challenge, only a little behind Feon and Ixi.
Name: Diego Lumumba Vasquesa Lorenzo Montana Respendal Leniendo the Third (or Diego Lumumba Leniendo the Third, but only his friends may call him that.)
Age: 29
Gender: Male
Race: Human
Weapons: A long rapier and a short, rusty knife.
Abilities: Diego is very good in a duel, but if he is swarmed by multiple enemies, he is easily overwhelmed. Diego spends long hours making up complicated rules for fun, dangerous and interesting ways to duel
Personality: Arrogant, cocky, foolish, and brave to a fault are all words that describe DLVLMRL. He is a con-man that pretends he is lesser royalty and comes into parties just for the food. He rarely steals, but will usually trick people into giving him things.
Allegiance: Neutral (He'll join whatever side gets him the ladies and the money)
History: Born to a seamstress and a petty criminal, DLVLMRL quickly learned how to fend for himself. He hung out in rough parts of town and pick pocketed at first, but then felt a little bad about it. Eventually he started begging for money, and was fairly successful.
Appearance: Diego has jet black hair and bright green eyes. He typically wears expensive but old clothing. He is fairly tall and moderately attractive, but he never treats women well enough to get them to stay around. He also has a long, thin scar on his chin. When asked about it, he claims that it was an old battle would, when in actuality, Diego received the scar when fighting an alley cat for food. He is sickeningly thin.

I know it's kind of late, but can I join this?

I'm currently attempting to program something to allow us to do this easily. The plan will be a program with a "white board", a mspaint like software that would allow me to draw/upload the map to a screen that you guys could draw on as well or move "pieces". There is planned to have a way to roll dice that spits out your roll into a chat that you can type into. The only problem with this is I have no experience with Graphics and Java. Any background coding I can get done with rather quickly, but the Graphical Interface is a problem that I'm currently trying to create/deal with.

Although my post about skype earlier is just one of the simple ways for you to send me your character sheet. If you can think of any other way to send me the character sheet that is better than skype, let me know and I'll try to do it.

Does E-mail work for you?

Alright, I made a document with the teams and list of participants. Please let me know if there are mistakes or if I put your character in the wrong group. Also, added brief descriptions next to most of their names to remind people which characters are which. If you feel that your character's description is bad, I'll change it up for you, or just delete all of the stuff in parenthesis.

I put Dane and Abal in their own category for the time being. Ricard and Haydrex are in a different category because they are accounted for, but aren't actually partaking in the expeditions, at least not yet. The undecided list is for those who are actually at the meeting but haven't joined teams yet.

Also, note that their are only four people in the group that's staying above ground. Not sure if that's really bad or not, but something to think about.
Sorry about the short posts, I haven't had too much time. Over the course of this week they will probably increase in length.
Kadoodle had already been thinking about doing the above ground mission. He could probably be more useful there anyways. But once the elf had decided to go below ground, he finalized his decision. "I'll stay above ground and help investigate," said the goblin. This time he spoke evenly and with confidence. He was a good people person and perhaps he could avoid telling people about his true skills and just say that he was an investigator of sorts. He may as well make this long trip into Ebb worth it!
