Shinji:
I'm... not entirely sure. Set up defenses for this area and the 'home' so that they won't be overrun while we move on to the next steps?

Not a bad plan, considering you need to become as familiar with your inner world as possible before the next step is taken.

Shinji:
I remembered because my former mentor would teach me to be more aware by occasionally hiding my key to my toolbox. However, he failed to realize how easy a 3 pin lock series was to pick.

*chuckles*

Huh. Guess you've had an interesting childhood.

...
So with the power restored, what's next?
<Snipped quote by Stabby>
Shinji:
*starts working on it*

Oh, hey! This is like a 3 pin lock that I had as a kid! This toolbox looks familiar, too....

*finally, after crackign the lock, I open it*

Ah, a lot of mechanical tools. Loosk like wrenches, some rope, some screwdrivers.... hmm. Kind of old school.

*Raises an eyebrow.* The thing you remembered from childhood is the kind of lock?

*Sighs.* Old school is better then nothing. Screwdrivers are perfect emergency weapons.
<Snipped quote by Stabby>
Shinji:
Oh? Mind if I take a crack at it?

Feel free.

*Passes the toolbox and lockpicks over.*
<Snipped quote by Stabby>

Shinji:
All kinds of sizes.

*looks over*

Whatcha tinkerin' on there, friend?

How unfortunate.

Found a toolbox, I'm trying to open it with lockpicks.
<Snipped quote by Stabby>

Shinji:
*as you get to work on the toolbox, I walk back, this time coated in what looks like blood, but not from my injuries*

Fucking. Spiders. Why did it have to be spiders....

*tries to wipe the fluids off me, to no avail*

Ugh.. so gross....

*Without looking up.*
Big ones?
"So stay quiet and don't light up the room. Got it." For as much as Ms grumpy skirt got on her nerves, Diamond had to admit that Bridget seemed to have more experience then her, though she would never say so aloud. Deciding they were far enough away from listening ears now that they were down here, Diamond talked about what she found in a low voice as they walked. "By the way I found two things of interest while you were chatting with the kids."

"Apparently someone's turned the lobby up those stairs into a greenhouse, and it's a pretty secure one at that. Also that stall I opened with the plastic key had a bunch of gasoline in it alongside a small amount of human blood. I left it alone. With what they told us about Domus being weak, when examined with these other things, makes me think he might not be a revenant."

Of course, the sound of gunfire in the distance caught Diamond's attention and shifted her focus. There were other people down here? Greaaat. If they were friendly it wouldn't be too big a deal, but if they weren't that could spell trouble, especially since they'd likely have plans of there own. They still had a time limit to deal with after all. But... she did say that she'd keep an eye out for Domus, and there was no way to say she tried if she didn't at least check.

"Sounds like they're in trouble, want me to go check it out to see if it's worth our time?"

*you find lots of office supplies, like rubber bands, paper clips, paper, printer ink cartridges, and pens. Near the back there is a locked toolbox*

*Grabs the toolbox and takes it back over to the controls. Sitting in front of them on the ground, I manifest a knife and change its form into a set of lockpicks before shortly getting to work on the lock.*
<Snipped quote by Stabby>

In person? Not long. We shoudl set up protective measurements, though. Ill look around for sowm netting and some chairs. If you have any ideas for protection, let me know.

*walks down a random hallway*

I'll think of some way to secure the controls, so it can't be easily messed with once we leave.

*Stays behind and looks around the room, assessing the available materials and making notes of all the nooks the machine creates.*
