Uh. Elemental Spies I guess

The Director waited for Aiden to follow him out and close the door behind them before speaking again, "Agent, I've got an quite an offer to make you but it requires a bit of sacrifice on your part." He told the fire elemental. "I'm willing to promote you to the highest rank in our division of this organization for your valiant actions. You showed us that we can rely on you in any situation. You brought Agent Azura back here, knowing full well the danger of the situation. You know how much we value all of the elementals and I cannot thank you enough for saving her. Now, all I ask of you in exchange for promoting you is that you accept a new partner. Agent Azura needs to be rehabilitated and re-trained. Also she needs a few lessons in discipline, unlike you. So please, consider my offer, you don't need her holding you back."

Azura couldn't hear anything that they were saying out there and she was rather concerned for her partner. What was going to happen to him, to both of them? They were gone for what seemed like forever and she was getting impatient. Just as she was about to get out of bed and limp over to the door she heard a voice from one corner of the room. "Y'know, I wouldn't if I were you, The Director wanted to speak to Aiden privately and you wouldn't want to interrupt them would you?" She knew this arrogant voice from somewhere, it had to be on of her colleagues.

"Ryu, what the hell are you doing in here?" She turned her head with her feet dangling off the bed which caused severe pain to shoot up her leg. "How long have you been hiding over there?" By now he had come out from sitting in the corner, hiding behind a curtain casually. It was slightly embarrassing for this fire elemental to see her this way. She hated all the other fire elements except for Aiden and she wished her head wasn't so clouded so she could fight Ryu. "Get. out."

Ryu smirked at her and moved forward, pulling something out of his pocket as he moved forward. His expression was that of a carnivore stalking its prey and it sent chills down her spine. In his hand the fire elemental held a syringe with a clearish liquid in it. "The boss told me to get rid of you, doll face, you've caused us more trouble than you're worth, not that we didn't appreciate you destroying that enemy building for us" He told her.

The teen stood up, putting her weight on her good leg. "So that's what this is about huh? I could care less if you dispose of me, just leave Aiden out of this" She put her hand out in front of her, palm facing Ryu, a large ice wall split the room into two parts, keeping Ryu away from her. "Now you stay over there, feel free to jump out the window to your death if you'd like"

Delighted, the young princess gratefully took a shortcake from the basket and nibbled on it. She knew better than to scarf down food since it was unladylike, but she didn't mind, she wanted to enjoy the first food she'd had all morning. The small cakes made by their baker were always delicious and she could eat them all the time. "Thank you, Jasper, you're so good to me" Jemma smiled at her brother with lots of love. Her smile faded a little when she saw the ribbon he took out of his hair, their mother's ribbon. Often times, Princess Jemma tried hard not to think about their mother's passing. Even though she wasn't there she could imagine it vividly and it hurt very bad. Jemma missed her mother, she never got to know her as well as she would have liked too, and she had no mother to teach her the proper lady. There was no maternal figure around to help her get through her rough teenage years. But it was okay, she had Rune, her father, and Jasper if she needed anything.

She watched the landscape change as they got further from home and closer to Iglasia. The land became flatter and more grassy, she loved it. As much as she loved Everglenn it was always nice to be able to escape, especially considering she was so used to being on the road. Jemma wasn't sure how much time had passed, but somewhere along the way she had fallen asleep with her head against one of the inside walls of the carriage. By the time they arrived she was all drowsy again like when Jasper had woken her up at the castle. "...Have we made it to Iglasia, Jasp?" She asked tiredly.

When he spoke to her, his words were nothing but reassuring and kind. Her partner always knew how to make her feel better in the worst of situations. Not to mention his amazing smile warmed her heart, making her feel like it was all going to be okay. Azura wasn't necessarily hungry but she was incredibly thirsty, she drank down an entire bottle of water in a minute which brought a smile to her face. After the nurse left them the teen spoke to her partner, "thanks for not leaving me behind... whatever happens with The Director, I'll stick by your side like you did for me" She promised him. Truthfully she was terrified that they were both going to get fired because of her recklessness, not that their boss had much of a problem with it in the past. Most likely he was coming to scold her personally for nearly getting killed, each and every one of the elementals were an important asset to their organization, including her crazy self. Hopefully The Director would do nothing more to Aiden but give him a pat on the back for rescuing his partner. Hopefully...

After a few minutes the door opened and their boss stood there tall and firm in his spiffy dark blue suit, (different then the ones that the actual 'suits' wore). "Agent Aiden, I'd like to speak to you privately for a moment" He gestured for Aiden to leave the room and come out into the hallway so that they could talk behind the closed door. Azura gritted her teeth and looked away. Damn it, I hope Aiden isn't in trouble for something, she thought.

"Go on ya pyromaniac, it's not like I'm going anywhere any time soon..."
