Former Enlisted Army, and very avid gamer. I have fallen hook line and sinker for Dungeons and Dragons, which has actually taken over as my preferred method to roleplay--as both a DM and a player.
However, my roleplay adventures started with writing, and I always will be interested in creative writing. I left for a brief 5 year stint (Hey, that's brief to an elf or dragon, yeah?) but am back and ready to dive into something (though what, I am unsure).
Happily married to my wonderful wife @PrimalArcana, whom I met at this forum (thanks @Mahz) and I can't be happier :D Love to RP pretty much anything. However, my time is much more limited than it used to be. My PMs are open if you want to roleplay, I'm known to do both 1 on 1 RPs and open forum RPs.
I may not be active anymore, but this still applies: All Green, all Army, HOOAH!

I can't shoot things in the city, have bon fires, breathe clean air, see stars/ Northern Lights, or let a dog run around. Rural's much, much nicer and often times, more beautiful. Glass and concrete is hardly interesting, nor is being surrounded by hundreds of thousands of self-important assholes who are overstimulated with a lack of attention span.
Don't get me wrong, i much prefer the country life too--but I can se the beauty of a city to some extent, with the wonderful skylines and lights at night. I much rather live in a quiet country home though, with a couple horses a dog, and a cat too.

I used to love away from town like that. It has it's downsides to be sure. And skyscrapers are beautiful in their own way--it's architecture. High rises and skyscrapers have a beauty in and of themselves.
That said, being in the city you also have to deal with assholes and morons on a daily basis, which isn't fun. And you see less nature, which sucks if you love animals! So it's a tradeoff :p
I like poetry but have no idea what you mean here! I'm not terribly familiar with the poetry terms that aren't so common such as haiku, quintet, couplet, that sorta thing D:
Derv u write some of the better oocs. He helped me with one of mine at the old guild, and because of his help, his push in the right direction, it took off! I had a good 5 or 6 people take interest in the very same idea that had failed a week before talking to Dervish here. He knows what he's talking about!
I have an rp ooc I wouldn't mind u rating on a scale to 10 Dervish, just to see what you'd think of it. I've gotten enough members, I'd just honestly like your op and any ideas where it could've been improved. A good ooc is arguably the most important factor for getting an rp started!
