I've been on and off this website for six years now. Right now I've only barely got time for one RP, and even then I mess that up. Trying to be more consistent and online more often, because I really do enjoy online roleplaying. Hopefully, one day I'll be able to write as much as I used too. Until then, I shall brood gloomily in the shadows.
Life goes on! Hobbies change and so do schedules. I hate ghosts, so I'm trying to put myself to rest as best I can with a status and bio officially marking my departure. If I'm going to do any writing, it's going to be working on that book I always wanted to finish.

I'd like to start a new world. That'd be cool. I was just looking at the Arena battles recently and apparantly these people have fought to the death like 20 times before. Explained away because of THE MULTIVERSE! How about instead of "people fighting to kill the other guy because of tournament" we have actual in-story problems, like a feud between two clans or something, and that is our motivation to fight eachother.
Not sure how tournaments would work though. Maybe the tournament part could be OOC, and the fights just take place in that order because of IC reasons?

I dislike having Biographies and Personality sections of character sheets. Feels too restricting, and if I end up going against the CS, then what was the point of having it at all? Biographies. Not sure how it makes sense that other people know this characters backstory, I would prefer to reveal my biography if it makes sense in the context of the story.
With GMing, I do planning as in "okay this is the world, it would be cool if i could work this into it" and thats about it. Planning for me, just kinda sucks the sense of adventure out of it. I'm no longer involved in the world, not exploring it with the players. That's another thing, I love it when players help build the world with me. I always find it odd how, say, in an open world fantasy RPG, characters who were born and raised in the homeland ask questions about culturally traditions that I came up with. Lame. Let's work off of eachother to get this ball rolling.

Hell, maybe we could start in the 1980's and work our way up to modern times, building up an actualy legacy and stuff. But that's just wishful thinkings. A couple of disconnected battles would suffice for sure.
Has anyone ever done something like the WWE, UFC? Boxing? Somethin' like that. Winning in losing isn't just explained by the multi-verse. Could have like...rivalries and stuff. Obviously since this is RP we don't have to make it as "WOOOAAA THROWIN PEOPLE WHAMMO" as the WWE or as "Silently grappling eachother on the ground" as the UFC. Altough, I think a humorous take on our own version of the WWE would be funny.
