Blizzard Entertainment supports the tyrannical government of China. Blizzard Entertainment ends the careers of those who dare dissent against their chinese overlords. And they're not the only ones...

In other news, Republicans in Oregon have laid siege to the state capital, shutting down the democratic process. They have the support of right-wing militia groups who have shot at police before.

Bio

I've been on and off this website for six years now. Right now I've only barely got time for one RP, and even then I mess that up. Trying to be more consistent and online more often, because I really do enjoy online roleplaying. Hopefully, one day I'll be able to write as much as I used too. Until then, I shall brood gloomily in the shadows.

Life goes on! Hobbies change and so do schedules. I hate ghosts, so I'm trying to put myself to rest as best I can with a status and bio officially marking my departure. If I'm going to do any writing, it's going to be working on that book I always wanted to finish.

URUK CAPTAIN DISCOVERED!

NAME: Brogg the Butcher
AGE: ???
GENDER: M
PHYSICAL DESCRIPTION: A bald, green-headed, imposing and towering orc. He wears a large apron covered in the blood of creatures and slaves. His eyes are bright green with red surrounding the iris.
BACKSTORY: Before he was Brogg the Butcher, he was just Brogg. Then he killed a four-legged beast, the caragor, by his lonesome, and his peers quickly put him into a place of power.
PERSONALITY: Often threatens to butcher any threats and eat them.
CLASS: Uruk-Combat, Basic
PRIMARY WEAPON: A military cleaver, it's clearly seen some use but still strikes through.
SECONDARY WEAPON: Brogg's old butcherin' cleaver. Short and rusty, it gives the meat he chops some extra "flavor".

Strengths: ???
Weaknesses: ???
Status: Alive
Power Rank: Low
Location: ???
Freedom Fighter Kills: None
NAME: Lithariel Marwen
AGE: 24
GENDER: Female
PHYSICAL DESCRIPTION: A blonde, strong woman with a long pony-tail and fur armors. She wears various pendants on her light armor and has a sharp face with a slight over-bite.
BACKSTORY: She is the leader of the resistance force, also known as the Tribesmen of Nurn, daughter of Lady Marwen, a mysterious older woman who mostly keeps to herself. No one questions her authority, when the invasion happened Lithariel simply asserted herself into a position of power. Her fighting prowess and tactical know-how kept the resistance alive under the iron first of Sauron, but now that he has been defeated, it is time to bring the fight to the War-Chiefs.
PERSONALITY: Generally very soft-spoken, with a firm but quiet authority, only shouting in the heat of battle. She has burning passion for combat and a lust for freedom. She's never going to give up this fight and has been so eager to bring the offensive she has made reckless decisions in the past, almost compromising the resistance. But now that the time is right, her military aggression is about to pay off.
CLASS: Combat
PRIMARY WEAPON: A long sword, finely crafted by the resistance blacksmiths. It's light and easy to use, not for crushing, defense-shattering blows, but rather for slicing against flesh and keeping maneuverable.
SECONDARY WEAPON: A short dagger, mostly for luck and just-in-case.
This is based in the Lord of the Rings Universe, particularly the non-lore based video game "Shadow of Mordor".
You won't need to know much about the LoTR universe, I've never even read the books or seen all the movies. So don't let that stop you from joining if that's your only concern.

The Uruks are basically Orcs from any other fantasy video-game, and their army is based on gaining power over one another through violence. Normal Uruks can gain the respect of their peers through various deeds, and become Captains. The Captains gain more power and influence over other Uruks through battling each other, proving their worth in hunting, having big feasts, or just backstabbing and murdering each other, and various other means. These events, dubbed "Power Struggles" in the game, are prime opportunities to eliminate troublesome captains when they aren't in the safety of Strongholds.

Strongholds are another ultimate goal in this Role-play. Once we've sufficiently weakened the Captains in and around the Stronghold, we can launch an attack on them, drawing out the War-Chiefs. War-Chiefs are the most powerful of all the Uruks, and no-one dares challenge their power as they have proven them self time and time again on the field of battle.

As a freedom fighter, you may die in the line of duty. Although your character may have fallen, you are in no way eliminated from the RP. Sometimes, things go wrong. They might be unfair. But it's warfare. It's part of the game. So if your character dies from circumstances outside of your control, don't be too upset. You can always make another character. So, don't spend an hour making a super detailed character because chances are they may just be overwhelmed and die.

There are three Classes you must choose from to make your character.

Stealth, Ranged, and Combat.

Stealthy characters use tactics and ambushes to assassinate their targets. They can generally get the jump on a captain in the heat of battle, or begin the battle with an advantage. But they can't do it alone, once they make their presence known it's very unlikely they will be able to survive an onslaught of enemy warriors.

Ranged characters use precision and positioning to pick off targets from afar. While they may be detected quickly, they are still just as effective in an active fight than sneaking around, but must be protected from any attackers lest they get too close.

Combat characters are front-line fighters, who use power and skill to eliminate the Uruk threat straight on. They are good, but they must be assisted from behind and in battle or they will be overwhelmed.

All three Classes need each-other to be successful, so keep this in mind when assembling your strike team.

All Uruk captains have strengths and weaknesses that must be found out by interrogating underlings known as Worms. Worms will come to Lithariels' attention by NPC's scouts, and she'll let you know where they are so the characters can launch a short mission to kidnap the Worm. The scouts will also tell Lithariel when a Captain is initiating a power struggle, which is a prime opportunity to eliminate them. If a power-struggle is allowed to succeed, the Captain will gain certain bonuses and may begin throwing wrenches into your plans. Sometimes, you may have to split up your forces or even choose which Power Struggle to "visit".

You can liberate areas by doing Liberation Missions. Liberating an area will grant you certain bonuses, extra intel, and the liberated slaves will find ways to assist you any way they can. You don't have to do them, but it will certainly help. Sometimes, in order to liberate an area, you may have to assassinate to Captain, so keep that in mind as you play.

Uruk Power Struggles are not always with each other, they may attempt to take back liberated areas, construct forts, or execute slaves or even other freedom fighters. It's always best not to let these go through.

If you want to play, which, if you've read this far, hopefully you do, you can use this basic character sheet to begin. You can include all this information in a written paragraph if you'd like. That'd be cool.

Make your Primary Weapon and Secondary Weapon fit your class. It doesn't particularly matter, it just effects your writing style, but don't have a Ranged without a ranged or throwing weapon Primary; don't make a Stealth with a great-sword, and don't give a Combat class a cross-bow.

"It's been seven months since the Uruk swarmed into our fair lands like a plague and enslaved us. The Shadow of Mordor, Talion, had defeated Sauron and his elite forces and vanished, leaving this Uruk army without a leader. Now, they have been left to their own devices, to fester and to plunder and to have control over this place without being kept in check.

But without their Dark Lord, the Orcish-kind are disorganized. This is our chance to actually fight back these barbarians and regain our own freedom, to go on the offensive permanently, and regain our lands.

As such, I'm calling on the finest of us to do what most of us dare not. I'm putting together an elite special forces to begin insurgent strikes on the Uruk plague, to take out the captains and eventually eliminate the War-Chiefs. When the last leaders of the Uruk army have been assassinated, the Uruks will withdraw. Spread the word. We begin in a week.
" Lithariel, leader of the resistance, slammed a dagger down onto a sketch of an Uruk Captain.

"And we're starting with this one, here. Brogg the Butcher."

---

In one week, a gathering will be held. The finest fighters will put themselves forwards in coordinated strikes against the oppressive Uruk army. The first mission will be too assassinate a local low-ranking captain, Brogg the Butcher. The journey will begin there. With the hopes of the people on your backs, you will be thrust into the insurgency campaign against a hierarchy of Uruks, where power is built on blood and brutality. Prepare to fight, to kill, and to die, for Middle-Earth.
um okay

anyone wanna run into my character on the streets?
There's prolly gonna be more than one type of off spring

Offspring?
That might be a good general name for the Threat's minions.

Just come up with somethin' good when you get to your post.
Tango, Bogey, Bug...Flyin' Bastards.
The Threat stood up straight and gazed down soundlessly upon his new enemies. His flying companions buzzed around him, bumping into and off of him like moths dancing around a lightbulb. He extended his long, seething arm towards the UNT forces and almost instantaneously the airborne creatures changed course and descended upon the incoming force. They looked like they had no coordination, but in reality they all shared the mind of the Threat. Some of the flying creatures simply flung themselves into the tanks, slamming their bodies onto the hard metal hull, their fluids covering the tank's surface. It seemed that even the fine material of the heavy vehicles started to wane against the onslaught, beginning to heat up, droop and burn.

A soldier caught a dinner-plate sized glob of acid in the left cheek and dropped the icy ground, screaming. Several of the flying creatures were shot out of the sky, riddled with bullets one creature hit the ground without violently exploding. It twitched on the ground and went still like a dud bomb. After harassing the UNT for a short eternity the flying creatures returned to the Threat, which then took a few gigantic steps backwards, putting space between itself and the defender of the planet.

The Threat hunched over again, and his back began to bubble.

He needs more. More allies to assist him. The natives are getting restless.!

oke doke
I'm writing my now

this is getting good.

We need a name for the smaller flying creatures for the UNT to call them. Doesn't have to be a fancy alien name could just be like "Bogeys" or "Tangos" something military. Or "Bugs".
I'm learning the art of patience now

i must wait for a right moment to come back into the RP
