Appearance: Standing at five feet, eight inches, Carol's frame is slender for her size. With light-brown skin, coffee-colored almond shaped eyes, and black hair she usually ties into a short pony tail. Her rounded face is full and healthy. Her eyebrows are like arched triangles, her right eyebrow having a slight gap in it. Her nose is flat, and her mouth defaults to an almost imperceptible smile. 
Clothing: Ms. Wellington often wears a navy-blue three piece suit, with the most under-part of the suit being off-white.  She wears pormal pump-shoes of raven black, a pair of practical square reading glasses, and a two diamond earings rest in her ear-lobes.  

In The Mind


Personality: Ms. Wellington eminates an aura of self-confidence. She's in control of herself, knows her limits, and is a real charmer. But, she's also a skilled tactician and ruthless business manager, and her employees respect her. At least, with a little help of corporate brain washing, they do. Ms. Wellington is arrogant, devious,  and overwhelmingly stubborn in her actions. For Galatec, she will do anything, and perhaps not  for her loyalty, but to prove she can.
To her, the people of New Earth are just mindless sheep, and she was so very dissapointed when they put up absolutely no fight and essentially gave her full control of the planet for free. She relishes in victory, but enjoys it much more when her targets struggle and squirm for a small while. But she always has to be on the winning side, the enemy's struggles cannot result in their advantage. If this event occurs, she will grow...impatient, to say the least.
Likes: Ms. Wellington loves being in control, trickin and decieving her enemies, excercising her power over those below her, and the color blue. She's also loves Old Earth domesticated dogs, and would like to have one but hasn't found the time.
Dislikes: Surprises of any kind. That annoying .5% of rebels who simply won't go away, wasting time on petty things (except dogs), and insuboordination.
Fears: Having everything she has worked so hard for being taken from her.
Quirks: Looks down at her paper and begins to write down thoughts if she is thinking about a tough decision.

Where They’ve Been


History: Carol Wellington was a prodigy to say the least. The signs of this began very early in her life, with her learning to play advanced songs on the piano at the age of six. She was quickly placed several grades ahead of her class in the most expensive private schools that she got into for free. Her parents pushed her to become the best she could be, to not let her natural talent go to waste, and were willing to use their extensive funds to carry her through education. Carol wholeheartedley agreed. As soon as she became 18, she moved into a place of her own. She then completed the entirety of her education and employers from all around the galaxy asked her, bribed her, begged her to join their companies. 
Carol soon began to appreciate the feeling of someone wanting to have her do something so much they would beg her to do it. She allowed a particular company to hire her, one who's name doesn't matter now. She began as a low level employee, but was quickly promoted. But, it soon started to not be enough for the young Carol. She desired more. And so, she decieved her first target, the CEO of the company. Using her skills she acquired some distasteful information about the CEO, and blackmailed her way into rising up the ranks and eventually became the CEO herself.
But this wasn't it. CEO of some random company? No, this wouldn't do. Laying off hundreds of employees she sold the company and went to another one. Her wealth grew. A corporate mastermind, she founded her own and quickly defeated and absorbed her rivals. Interplanetary trade-routs came under her control, large amounts of territory under he command. Wellington Enterprises was growing quckly. Acquiring important manufacturing districts, raising taxes on trade at strategic moments, the stock market on several continents on several planets under her thumb, Carol still wasn't satisfied. She had reached the limit of monopolizing entities by business alone. But what else was there?
She recieved a call from her parents. They hadn't seen her in such a long time. Her dealings had caused them to go bankrupt because of her anti-small business policies. Could she spare money? They could live the rest of their lives on just a small donation from her. That's when Carol realized just how truly powerful she had become. The ability to ruin, or carry, lives with the signing of a paper. With a hungry smile she did not answer the request and had a few people evicted just for fun. But, no, this was just the beginning. 
Galatec. She heard the name before, but they were very good at their job. She hadn't realized it, but they had control of several planets. Military forces, hostile takeovers...they were the corporate machine that could really use her. Provide her with some real fun. She applied, they accepted, and she was transported to a place known as New Earth. Her mission? Claim New Earth has Galatec's domain. They knew what she could do, and she didn't live up to her potential, they would simply deny her and probably take over her company. But she proved them right. New Earth was easy pickings for her skills. Regional Manager was hers, and she willfully submitted Wellington Enterprises to Galatec. Regional Manager of a whole planet, and a military of Githkins at her command. This was too good to be true. She was one of, if not the youngest Regional Manager in Galatec history. 
They would show her no mercy, they wouldn't treat her with any pity, and she gladly accepted the challenge. For one day soon, she would be head of Galatec.  Oh, she would make such a wonderful inter-planetary dictator, wouldn't she?

Talents: Ms. Wellington has an incredibly sharp-tongue, and has a way of persuading people into doing what she wants.  Due to her advanced education, she has also invented quite a few weapons for her personal arsenal.
Hindrances: Physically, she is healthy, but not strong or fast, or even very co-ordinated. 
Powers: No inherent special powers.
Equipment: She invented and got her engineers to build her an expensive "Power Glove". An exoskeleton hand she mounts on her right arm, the palm of it containing a glowing orange circle.  Kept in her office, it fires a Hard Light projectile the size of a common bullet. However, when it connects, it creates a powerful magnet. She can throw what she hits with her Power Glove's shot with tremendous force. It has limited power, though, and something may be too heavy or provide to much resistance for it to use it's full power. It is still a very deadly weapon.
She also has a powerful hand-cannon on her person.

"Tell me, what do you think happens if you fail?" Ms. Wellington stood from her desk and approached the man meeting her for an appointment. She sat down on the corner of the table, one leg dangling off. She maintained eye contact. The man was silent. 
"Well?" She inquired again.
"I don't know, ma'am," He managed.
"Mr. Radford, I think you are aware of the consequences, but wish not to talk about them. But it's okay, I understand. Death is often a hard topic to discuss for those with weak spirits like yourself,"
Mr. Radford jumped. "Ma'am? I don't think-"
Carol interrupted. "Ah, see, there it is. Offended? About to speak your mind to a woman who could have you killed on the spot?"
Mr. Radford, went silent, but nodded.
"Yes, Mr. Radford,  you do know the consequences of failure. But I believe that you are skilled enough to do as I ask. After all, I cannot run this place on my own." She smiled. Mr. Radford was not comforted.
She went to her feet and walked with swagger behind Mr. Radford, placing her well-manicured right hand on his left shoulder. She stared out the window with im at the rising mega-structures of New Earth.
"Can't you see it? Isn't it beautiful? All of this, under my control. And you, Mr. Radford, get your very own piece of the pie," Her voice became sing-song as she finished her sentence.
"All you have to do..." She finished her complete circle of her desk and sat back down in her lavish office chair. She slid an electronic pad of information towards him, beckoning for his signature.
"...Is find me those Rangers." Her smile faded. She swivelled her chair around and gazed upon her empire. 
"Make it happen, Mr. Radford. It is of the utmost importance."
