Blizzard Entertainment supports the tyrannical government of China. Blizzard Entertainment ends the careers of those who dare dissent against their chinese overlords. And they're not the only ones...

In other news, Republicans in Oregon have laid siege to the state capital, shutting down the democratic process. They have the support of right-wing militia groups who have shot at police before.

Bio

I've been on and off this website for six years now. Right now I've only barely got time for one RP, and even then I mess that up. Trying to be more consistent and online more often, because I really do enjoy online roleplaying. Hopefully, one day I'll be able to write as much as I used too. Until then, I shall brood gloomily in the shadows.

Life goes on! Hobbies change and so do schedules. I hate ghosts, so I'm trying to put myself to rest as best I can with a status and bio officially marking my departure. If I'm going to do any writing, it's going to be working on that book I always wanted to finish.

asphalt lad has entered the building!?!?!?
so, now that I've levelled up, I get to pick a new power? I'm not sure what kind of power level it should be at.

Right now my working idea is that he can use a special ability called Phalanx to give an overshield to everyone in the same battle as him, giving them more durability. I'm not sure by how much. In the game, Phalanx doubles teammates health across the entire map for like thirty seconds. So, if you time it right, you can save a teammate by giving them an extra 100 health or something. But timing isn't really possible here, lol.

So I'm thinking it's an ability that gives everyone like, a shield worth 50% of their health for the rest of their battle? Or maybe it allows them to take like, a big hit for free? Or I can only target specific person has more health? I'm not really sure. But the base idea is that somehow, I would like to give my teammates some extra protection against damage.
@Lugubrious

ALCOHOL

Alcohol listened closely to the council of his people. Killing Pepsi would bring the Jaguars upon them. It was their "code of honor." Even though he doubted they knew what honor really was, those were the rules they played by, backwards as they were. Al must consider his moves carefully.

Pepsi would be locked up and kept in jail, the mayor thought. His reason was as follows: Execution makes a martyr of most, especially when they intend to be one. Executions would ratchet tension with Plaza into full blown war, nobody needs that. It would also show weakness and fear. However, letting him go would also show weakness. That would be betraying his codes and be broadcasting to everyone that we were subservient to Plaza. Keeping him in jail is costly, but makes a point. His ways of savagery and war can be contained. HE can be contained. Just a man with a sword, nothing more.

Dark eyes flicked from Twice and Glock. Al rubbed his chin and then locked his eyes with Twice. "We won't kill him. He's our prisoner, now."

He glanced over at Glock. "Change the schedules back the way we had it a while ago. Two guards near the jail at all times. One patrolling the nearby area, another directly watching the prisoner. I'd like you to be one of them, Ms Glock. You can be Warden if you accept. Little more pay, less patrolling, more responsibility. Up to you." Glock was competent and she was in the right mindset. Twice would be too eager on the trigger finger if Pepsi did something.

As he spoke quietly, he shouldered the strap of his shotgun.

Then, he stepped around the guards and took a couple of steps towards the cell in which Pepsi is sitting. He rose his voice to a normal conversation level.

"Twenty years in prison. Open up the hatch in the corner, toilet goes to the sewer. Two meals a day. Be good and you might get yard time." The last part was facetious but his tone of voice did not change.

He turned back to Glock, awaiting her answer and perhaps expecting Pepsi to say something aswell. Al would not grant Pepsi a proper audience, however. First he would let the prisoner stew in the cell.

@Lugubrious thanks, i will edit that in.
Magnumus Agoston, Centurion.

Level 2 - (7/20) EXP
Location: Scrap Yard Endzone
Word Count: 570

Centurion had managed to get the Slicer off of him, turning the table. Now he was ontop of it. He stabbed it through the cannon, disabling it. He left the blade inside the Slicer and began smashing it into submission with his fist. Eventually, it crumbled and stopped moving.

Breathing heavily, the Centurion raised a hand in the air. "Ha haaaa! I got one!" He turned around and saw that his comrades had left for greater battles, defeating the other minions of evil. "Oh."

Well, he couldn't blame them, he thought. His fault for being slow. The Centurion would have to do better if he was to match his companions. It felt odd not having Legionnares by his side. Focus! He chastised himself. The Emperor needs you. He felt isolated without his empire. Perhaps the Master of Masters news had shaken him more than he knew. Could he truly be the last survivor of the Empire? All of those people, lost? The lands that he had fought and trained his entire life to protect were gone. Forces far greater than he could ever comprehend were at work.

He slapped himself across the helmet. Right! The time to act is NOW!

Boots slamming against the scrap covered ground, the armored man sprinted to catch up to his companions. Micheal, Bowser, Blasermate, the Master of Masters, Tora, and Minako, though he did not recognize the latter. Fortunately all of the enemies were desaturated, so it was easy to tell friend from foe. Fierce bright orange painted onto his cape trailed behind Agoston as he waded into battle. Quickly, he got his bearings. The hard-hatted man, Engineer, his sentry, and a metallic creature. All of them were armed with large guns. Luckily, they were all distracted. Simply having the numbers advantage in this fight was a huge boon. Too many variables, and a lesser tactician could get overwhelmed. The rabbit men were a wild card.

The moment was his! No more waiting! No more floundering! He was a Centurion and he would seize his opportunity and his enemies by the throat!

---Inner Monologue Over, here's the relevant bit---

"CARPE VICTORIA!" The Centurion shouted at the top of his lungs, charging forward. In moments of great passion he would slip into the higher language. Indeed, he was taken in patriotic fervor. His plan was simple, but perhaps difficult to pull off. Get the Engineer. He trusted his comrades to dole out their attention wisely. Hopefully, the Sentry and Bastion would be caught up with his allies while he was a part of the crew who attacked the Engy directly.

His friends would have to avoid being crushed by the tower, but the Centurion was already at full sprint when he reached the danger zone. He tried to zoom underneath the tower before it fell, dodging the falling blocks as well as Bowser and the Master of Masters. Determination steely as his blade, he surged forth, barreling up the rampart on the right to get the Engineer while he was switching weapons. He pitched hard, skidding his heels on the ground as he pivoted to meet the Engineer and his Sentry on the archway.

If it could be done, a metal gauntlet would wrap around the barrel of the shotgun pushing it away from Agoston, and a shoulder pauldron would smash into the Engineers face. Knocking the possessed Texan back, Agoston would then try to reverse the grip of his gladius and slam it down into the large yellow glove of the Engineer, not knowing it was a robotic hand underneath and not one of flesh. If successful he would wrench the embedded gladius towards himself and then throw his fist outward in a punch toward the Engineer.

oh, man. my brain. there's so much. i'm not gonna be able to keep track of everything, but I think i once again have acquired "The Gist".

So, while I was being useless and dumb everyone made it to the Engineer and Bastion, right? Now we are fighting them and the Rabbids?
