Whilst I make a start on the OOC today, I'll not post it until a few more people show interest. However its one heck of an OOC post so I'd rather it was finished for the people showing interest, instead of waiting a few days for it to be useful enough to make a CS.

I'm glad you find it an interesting concept! It's just my favourite movie, and recently I must've watched it 1000 times...so I thought "Hell, why not?"

I've got two interest checks running at the same time - you're the 3rd person to show interest. Once I get 5, I'll start work on the OOC!

I advise you to watch the movie. It's long, but it really is brilliant. I'm going to wait for 5 people to show interest before working on an OOC, because that's probably the number of spaces I'll put into this.

Sitting archly in a lavish room, the Third Witch Katashi counted each precious lump of glittering gold as she moved them individually from one box to another. The room was silent save for the crackling of the opulent fireplace and the clicking of metal on metal. Her cold blue eyes reflected the sickly yellow gleam from the gold and her wrinkled lips were pulled taunt into a greedy smirk. Silence permeated the area for an indefinite amount of time until the sound of sandals of marble floor interrupted Katashi's slow and deliberate counting. Three knocks upon the door and she could already sense that it was her most loyal servant Yoru. With an irritated sigh, the gilded doors were flung open. "What is it?!" rasped Katashi, drumming her manicured talons on the mahogany surface of her desk.

"You asked for the humans to be prepared for the realm shift. They are all falling into position now." reported servant Yoru in his usual hollow tones. he stood as stiff as a board, staring vacantly towards Katashi and awaiting further orders. The Third Witch's grin alighted at the new possibilities of the humans, ever since she heard of her cousin being forced to hire one...well, everyone in the whole damn Spirit Realm knew how that turned out. Business over at Yubaba's Bathhouse is booming. The Third Witch had to keep up with her distant relative, lest she loses valuable customers...

"Very well, Yuro; hurry up! We'll have them in by sundown, and working by tomorrow morning, and if they don't..." breathed Katashi, staring at a thousand faces from the reflection of the golden nuggets, each one as cold and as hostile as the next. Servant Yoru continued to stand to attention, allowing the Third Witch Katashi a moment to think.

"...If they don't, then we'll feed them to the spirits. Who cares about a bunch of snivelling humans, anyways?"

Hello there! This'll be one of my first RPs - a High Casual RP based on the plotline of Spirited Away, one of the popular movies created by Hayao Miyazaki.

The setting is a few months after the plot of the original movie itself, in a separate Bathhouse from Yubaba and the others. (Well, separate, but vastly similar to the actual thing; but instead of turning away certain customers who can't pay enough, the Third Witch is known to accept all who come bearing gold.) The characters of this RP will be human children ranging from 10-16 years old. In terms of the actual posting style, I'd prefer it to be high casual - a minimum of 2 paragraphs per post and a decent grasp on English grammar.

There will be very little combat in this RP. If you've come looking for an action-filled hero movie-style of Spirited Away then you're sorely mistaken; the RP will actually rely on the human children and their physical weakness as there will be a lot of toiling labour, and moving around a fair bit. You are more likely to be accepted if your character is realistically as 'strong' as the age you are representing. Chihiro is shown having a lot of difficulty keeping up with the other workers, and she doesn't get any better at it for the entirety of the movie. It's much more fun and interesting showing a gradual adaption than to suddenly be able to do everything!

In the RP I will not have a set 'character', but will play the roles of the NPCs which you could interact with. The main one would be a bathhouse worker similar to Lin from the actual movie.

The RP itself has a simple objective, but a very complicated method of getting there. The overall goal is, as a human, to find and get to one of the Spirit Tunnels leading out of the Spirit Realm and return home. However, trapped on a bath-house in the middle of a vast ocean that stretches out almost endlessly, the task will be much harder to achieve than one might think. Making friends with the workers and proving yourself in the bathhouse will reap rewards, but be sure not to be tempted by greed, lest you wish to stay there forever.

Keep it to rank, imo. Magic isn't something that can really be 'cut and dry' in a sense - I mean, a fireball can look like a fireball or you can stretch it a little with some skill and make a fire javelin. Healing spells could be a glow in your hand or they can drip out of your palms like bright white liquid light. Gives you much more freedom to do whatever you choose.
