I mean, maybe Ive missed a crucial plot point that prevented them from doing these things...

...You mean the part where they are trying to keep their existence a secret from the muggles, which were a majority of the world's population?

I think magic would've been more liberal in Hogwarts if they didn't have the rule of 'no magic in the corridors', but there's plenty of spellcasting in the common rooms.

Ravenclaw's mascot was a raven, not an Eagle.

I think we should keep to 4 houses, and therefore four mascots, but I agree that the names can be fixed up a bit. Keep foxglove, perhaps a herbal theme on the names?

Here's a few -
iris characterizes pure heart; courage; faith; inspiration - Griffyndor?
wisteria indicates steadfastness - Hufflepuff?

Takumi waved cheerily at the leaving Leo, and returned to her soup with vigour. She was quite hungry, and staying up most of the night due to...noise, was not very enjoyable. Admittedly it only would have taken one of her to get a good night's rest in order to be refreshed, but such is the way of Master Azga to keep things incredibly loud and "amazing". It was just a mild irritation that she had to suffer because of it!

Meanwhile, her blue-robed self listened with interest to Faye's offer. "It would not be very becoming of me to weild something so...loud," offered Takumi apologetically. "Perhaps something small and elegant would be suitable?" She mused. It was worrying to think that she would require a weapon at all, but surely if she came across another bad person she may have to show the weapon off a little. But actually using it? No, Takumi could never bring herself to do that. Could she?

Her train of thought was abruptly interrupted by a sharp, burning pain in her foot, so she scuffed the dirt idly and listened to Faye's excitement whilst the source of the problem was dealt with; the pink-robed Takumi had been bumped into, sending soup onto her slipper. When she heard the apology she just smiled, kneeling down to wipe it off with her hand. "No bother, Drina," assured the geisha. She straightened up and heard Drina offering a break, something she desperately needed right now. Without showing too much relief, Takumi replied with "Actually, I was planning on getting dressed into something more suitable and assisting in the packing..." Takumi paused a little, looking weary. No sleep, multitasking and these uncomfortable slippers were really draining her out, even with her siphon.
Personally, I wouldn't want the magic to be tampered with beyond adding a few more impressive spells and maybe a couple extra classes. I'd still like the original classes (potions, defence against the dark arts etc) but the reason the spells weren't impressive was because JK wanted a different kind of magic that was more practical than flashy.

Stitches, I applaud your posts capability of being both dizzy and rightfully balanced. *clap clap*As far as introductions you pointed out to windel, everyone is free to do as they wish and to the question of volume, Azga is consistently loud as he is consistently amazing XD

My target is to have Takumi also talk to Azga and/or Drin. The pink one is open, you two! Come say hi!

That.... that drawing... I thought was OK at drawing but.. that drawing is so good it makes me feel insignificant >.<

I need another backhand gif up in here.

Your drawings are amazing and you're better than a couple 'professional' artists because you just keep drawing. And you get better. Trust me, your drawings are great and I have no doubt that you will continue to be great.
I love the mind-meltyness of Takumi's antics. Poor Leo is reacting exactly how I would!

But you've gotta admit, it was pretty darn smart of me....I get three times the amount of RP! \o/
Yeah, I take French as a subject but I'm more into art/English literature. Still, I tend to think that the French language is so pretty, and interesting...it's pretty fun trying to get the gist of a book in French, for me.
Yellow-robed Takumi drew herself higher, and smiled down upon Leo. "There is no difference," she explained with an endless supply of patience, "between any of me. You are talking to the original right now, and I am talking to you, talking to Faye, and enjoying a delicious breakfast whilst I serve Master Azga's dinner guests."

Pink-robed Takumi flashed a smile at Leo in sync with her yellow-robed copy. Disorientating was a light way to put it, at the very least. They all moved with striking similarities, all of Takumi resonated a certain pride and grace that invited respect without demanding it. There was a pause in conversation between all three of them, and this was not uncommon either, for it meant that one of Takumi's selves happened to be listening to someone else. Yellow-robed Takumi carefully poured soup between her lips without tarnishing the pristine image that the make-up created, and pink-robed Takumi was far too busy to speak anyway.

Meanwhile, blue-robed Takumi let loose a tinkling laughter as Faye suggested that Takumi would come as she was dressed right now. "Worry not, Faye...I wear this garb only when I am entertaining, and I entertain off-stage too, sometimes." Replied the geisha. She smiled politely as Faye rushed off to grab something...and all three Takumi inhaled deeply, and all three of them looked revitalised, replenished. With undertones of genuine gratitude and sincerity, the blue-robed Takumi bowed her head deeply so a curtain of black hair covered her features and said "that was a very kind thing for you to do. I assume that is rose incense?"
Interested.
