MEDICAL LOG 004 - NICKI F SHARPE
CURRENTLY:
In the presence of a like-minded individual...
Nicki was just about to step into the cargo bay before someone said something behind her. Someone new. She nearly cringed at the thought of her own thoughts about to abuse her, until she made out exactly what he had said - Psychopath. For a moment, it took everything to stop herself from crunching The Medusa into a ball of scrap metal at the sheer indignation of it all; she wasn't a psychopath, she was just so smart that everyone else happened to be inferior! Quickly, Nicki spun around to glare at her new worst enemy-

Misogynist. Takes pride in his appearance. Full of himself. Very intelligent - VERY intelligent-... Nicki stopped, a ringing in her ears. There was something, something about him that made him and her similar. The word "PSYCHE USER" was almost imprinted in his blue eyes, in his confidence, because he knew that he was a psyche user. And this, this was an issue for Nicki, something she had to sort right away. But before she could get anything out, Scott started talking - apologising?
MercuryHg34 said "F Sharp, right? Sorry about before, I didn't realize that you and I were... the same."

For once, Nicki's mind drew up a blank for a brief second before she decided what to do next. And in that moment, Nicki didn't converse using words like some sort of simpleton; if he was a Psyche user, he'd know. Because in that moment, Nicki's gaze echoed Scott's in not only sympathy, but also intelligence - the kind where one's mind transcends thinking of itself, a human, as the centre of everything in the universe. An understanding of anything and everything so diverse that it must be insulting to be given things so mundane to do, such as small-talk with a person it's just met, when it can figure out half of someone's past by the way they hold themselves during a conversation anyway.

And Scott may be able to figure out that Nicki must be so very bored with the prospect of this mission so far that she must've felt pretty isolated with all of this brainpower and (almost) nobody there who'd begin to understand it. And with that, Nicki flashed a small and genuine smile - one that betrayed a glimmer of actual joy in the depths of those green eyes - at Scott, before they went cold and analytical and calculating again, and she decided to speak out her next sentence - a warning. "Dip into my Psyche supply and I won't hesitate to remove every single limb from your body whilst using my medical skills to keep you awake whilst I do it," she murmured to Scott with no trace of that genuine smile on her face. However, the tone softened a little as she added, "But I...I look forward to being able to learning more about you."

There was a slight emphasis on the 'more' part, as if she already knew a bit about him already and wanted him to know that in advance. Then she lifted her hand up in a farewell to Psyche-user Scott, and went into the cargo bay.
So I am accepted? Wonderful! Thank you so much.
Correction; I haven't posted because I can't figure out enough interaction to pad out what would be a single-sentence emote. I'm still very much around, just assume Nicki strolled indoors with the others come monday evening!

Oh hey Stitches! It's been a while! Heh, Espurr's an interesting character. I'd be interested in seeing how this goes.

I always, always object to mute characters. They create pointless contention between RPers without giving much in return. It's especially bad if we're looking to create relationships between characters.

It depends on the skill of the roleplayer.

Kiddo said Also, don't we have enough bumbling idiots in this shindig? I mean, sure, bumbling idiots are fun to play and can be fun to watch, but how the heck are we ever supposed to do anything if none of our characters actually know anything?

That's why I said that he's seemingly unintelligent.

If it is that much of an issue, mind, I'll withdraw my application and step out of the RP; I'm ambivalent to whether or not I am accepted either way.

If he can't talk, he can't really join the guild. He'll probably get carted off to either the jailhouse or the orphanage.

Espurr violently waves the advertisement for the Adventurer's guild under Willow's nose, beaming at her.

Just because he cannot talk does not mean he is unable to get his point across. Declining access into the Adventuer's Guild on the basis that Espurr cannot -talk- would be foolish; if he can follow orders (which he can) and fight (which he can, just not very well) then he should be given a spot in the Guild.

Also, one would believe that an upstarting guild working shoulder-to-shoulder with the police force would be in dire need of new members anyways.

So the plan is to have everyone at least on the ship for Monday and have it take off then at the absolute latest (I know I said this before but... w/e). Flippin' love everyone's characters. We'll either end up as a tight-knit group or corpses as Nicki/Scott/Risty MURDER US ALL IN OUR SLEEP AND TAKE OVER THE SHIP jkjkThere's still time, Cirus, for you to get your Psyche in but I would like an ETA on your CS if you're still reading this. Can only postpone for so long :3

I haven't posted because the cargo bay door is perpetually opening.
Well, I just finished making a character sheet in any case. I'm hoping to make a comedic character with some very big plot development, being funny sometimes and slightly unsettling other times. I gave him the highest level because, of course, the fun will start to happen when he evolves into Meowstic at level 25.

I don't understand the relevance or importance of levels in pokemon RPs if one doesn't plan to use complex tabletop systems to figure out how much experience we'll get per battle.

Hey, is there a spot available?

EDIT: I hope there's a spot available. I have plans for this one:

I'm starting to feel really sorry for Tide on this ship... I've lost track of who's sudden but inevitable betrayal he's going to be cursing :)

Don't worry.

Nicki will not betray anyone on this ship.

She thinks you all belong to her now.

I can't wait either, I'm working on my debut post as we speak. He may think he's a ladies' man, but it would take a very "special" woman to tolerate his antics.EDIT: First post is up, feel free to start hating Scott from the bottom of your souls lol.

This will turn to violence.

EDIT: Actually, no. It won't turn to violence. You'd be hard-pressed to make out those nicknames, especially when the first post said our files had literally almost everything blacked out. -Especially-, for Nicki, the sound file from PLU27 that states that she is absolutely nuts in graphic detail.

Thus far, Nicki's done nothing crazy except use her psyche, and the same goes for Pasal and maybe Risty. Names like "Jar-head" and "Klutz" are alright, though, because the rest of the crew have probably seen it first-hand.

You just got out of a cab and saw your crew in the distance around the back of Frontier 60.

EDIT EDIT - Your CS also says nothing about being able to read personalities and suchlike from just one look. But if you can, I'll drop you a PM, because we'll need to chat. (And by chat, I mean Nicki will probably try to kill you when she finds out you know, OR they make a deal together.)
