Welcome Tommy :)
Looks exciting and epic!
"Aaaahhhhhhhhh...... *yawn* The Gate of Lindbluuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuum" Jack yawned once more.
'T was totally dark, the night sky filled with a gazillion stars. Here and there a shooting star.
Lindblum's "Festival of the Hunt" was famous for it's gorgeous weather. In history records it was written that during every edition of the annual festival the weather would be extremely nice. Even if 'weather forecasts' would say differently. The locals would always laugh at charlatans trying to fool them with rainy days to come.

The (annual) regular visitors were already familiair with the shooting stars. During the 14-day festival it was a custom to watch the night sky at the first day of arrival, but because so many visitors entered and left the City of Lindblum, there would be many stargazers every night of the festival. Like a touch of magic.. Uniting everyone with the Universe.

And so Jack decided to wait a little while outside of the gates, talking to the guards instead of entering Festival ground.
It was then that he heard how a free spot become available at the evening program of the "Festival of the Hunt". If Jack wanted he could go on stage and perform some of his songs. Next day's evening he was welcome to make music at the Inn's bar, while the day after he would already perform at the main stage, after the 'Final of the Hunter's Challenge' ended.

"....yes, yes. I will contact Baku immediately next thing in the morning" Jack spoke to the friendly guards. "Have a great night. Nice stargazing for both of you!"

The guards Reno and Zeno opened the gate to let Jack in. Immediately after Jack and his horse set foot on Lindblum territory the gate closed.
"Let us go to the inn, Beautiful. Both of us can use a long night's rest."
Jack put his tin whistle in his backpack. "That is alright, we all have our unique passion" Jack smiled.
"I'd love to hear more about your enterprises. What do you do from day to day in your workshop??"

Jack travelled much and was genuinely interested in other's stories. Now he followed Will to his home, wondering what it would be like to live in Hereford. Jack sometimes glanced at the arrows and bow in front of him. "Such a beautiful quiver, did you make it yourself as well?"

He heard Will ask him about his travels, he instantly became in a trance state and began to talk about his journeys.
"For starters I did not know I walked so far already, but I have to confess that I fell asleep at the back of a wagon yesterday.. I guess that's where I lost track, tee hee."
While they were talking Jack breathed in the atmosphere of beautiful Hereford. It was nothing really new, because he had been there as a youngster. But alot had changed over the years.. Nature's finest trees, flowers, grass, animals, river beddings were flourishing as birghtly as the Sun.

"....And then I travelled back to London to perform for the last concert with the 'Merlins'. It still hurts sometimes when I think about it. How I'd love to make music again... I feel that moment will come again during this lifetime."

"Would you mind telling me something about your personal life?"
Heeey a big post about his history is Great!

I feel one post about the journey is sufficient ^_^

I am looking forward to your post :)
"The Festival of the Hunt is an annual competition hosted by the church in the Business District of Lindblum in Final Fantasy IX. It began centuries prior when the city was but a huge forest. The festival is held on January 20th.

Warriors from around Gaia are called upon to test their strength against ferocious beasts. Various creatures are released onto the streets of Lindblum, and can be defeated, each for a certain amount of points. The hunt lasts twelve minutes and whoever has the most points at the end wins the title of Master Hunter."

This is what we are talking about 'Festival Of The Hunt'.
Kill sauvage beasts to collect points. The ones with the most points win something they pick beforehand.

EDIT: This is not a Final Fantasy IX roleplay.. It's just a funny similarity to put in this story.
is this the festival of the hunt, please tell me this is the festival of the hunt.

Hmmmhmmmmm... Well I haven't thought about it.
I chose the name Lindblum for just it's namesake. Seems some FFIX lovers are here. :-p

I am thinking about it, and yeah, we can have a Festival of The Hunt.
Just let me start that designated activity. Probably this weekend, so prepare your characters for it.. to participate or just to watch!
"I'm on my way to Lindblum.. Let's celebrate, let's celebrate!
The festival's always amazing.. Let's celebrate, let's celebrate!
I am thrilled an so excited.. Let's celebrate, let's celebrate!"

Jack was playing his small guitar and singing a new song, as he does most of the moments when he is very excited for something. The only real reason he does this is to play away the nerves, but these songs were always well-received by his audience and fans.

His surroundings consisted of grey and brown mountains. Here and there were trees with green and orange leafs. In the sky were gulls, crows, hawks and pigeons flying high.
"Hmmm... Pigeons? That means I am getting close to Lindlbum city" Jack smiled. "If I remember correctly Lindlum is right behind that mountain pass. And if I am wrong it will take me several hours extra...."
Jack sighed. "Oh Well.."

"I am just so excited... Let's...."
