Yuuma is the youngest in his family, he has three siblings, two brothers and a sister. His father is a Yakuza boss, though their group don't actually follow traditions, they're more like a syndicate who's focusing on gaining influence and power.... so yeah that's just Yakuza minus traditions and honor. Yuuma and his siblings have been involved with their dad's 'work' at an early age. Three of them have been subjected to the experiments of the very tecnologically advanced Academy city and had been turned to powerful espers, Yuuma included.

There are times when even such a kind-hearted boy like Yuuma get angry and since Yuuma is the type to hold his temper to the point of bursting, it gets a little scary when he snaps. Yuuma's personality drastically transforms from a kind-hearted boy to hot-headed delinquent when he gets a taste of alcohol.
