"I guess she's doing well for herself...I guess."Alden really only knows Alyssa by reputation. He's seen her around but never really spoken to her. He has, however, noticed that she seems to be trying very hard to be be prim and proper instead of just having fun. He has thought about trying to get to know her a little better to see if she really is so proper but as yet has not had the chance.

"He's a know-it-all but he's a nice guy. Having a smart friend does come in handy every now and then."Alden likes Marlin. Not so much that they hang out all the time but enough that he's not put off by his company. The only thing that kind of bothers Alden about Marlin is that he has a tendency to make Alden feel stupid. Not intentionally but it still happens.
L A W L I E T L A K E W O O D
"Slimy little weasel of a man."Lawliet is one of the few people Alden truly doesn't like. But then, as a thief, Alden is naturally inclined to dislike lawyers. At least those on the prosecution side of the court. He does his very best to avoid this man.
R O B I N H O O D
"When I grow up I want to be this guy."If there's anyone in Cedar Grove that Alden admires more than anyone, it's Robin Hood. Truth be told, he may even have a slight man crush on him. Alden and Robin are very similar. Both charming thieves with a casual disregard of the law and a drive to help others. The biggest difference is that Alden almost fanboys over Robin whenever he's around.
K I N G S L E Y
"Poor old devil. He must truly be in a bad place to inflict this way of life on himself."Alden holds a special place in his heart for Kingsley. He knows the older man from his time living on the street. Alden knows that Kingsley chooses to live on the street for whatever reason but he tries not to pry into his business. He still brings the old man food whenever he can.

"A truly wonderful human being...Oh, you're talking about Saara?"Alden has strongly conflicting feelings on Saara. On one hand, he kind of sees a kindred spirit in her and finds her occasionally fun, but on the other hand she's such a rampaging diva at times it's very hard to like her at all. Most of the time, Alden will hang around Saara simply because he knows his presence annoys her.

"I don't really know her. I guess she's got a cool look but that's all I know."Having really only met Maile in passing, Alden doesn't really have an opinion on her other than she looks kind of cool in that rock/goth kind of way. He knows she works at Merry Men's though, a place where he has been trying to get some work as their kitchen is much better than Moriarty's. So maybe he'll get to know her better one day.

"What a fun guy. T is a good friend and always up for a good time."Tarrant is perhaps one of Alden's better friends. They both have a good sense of adventure and fun and Tarrant always seems willing to help out with Alden's crazy schemes. At times, Alden feels like his friend may be a little too clingy but understands Tarrant's fear of being alone for too long so he does his best to hang out with him whenever he can.

"We've been joined at the finger for a very long time. Not having Amara in my life would break my heart."Despite their seemingly contrasting personalities, Amara is essentially Alden's best friend. They have spent centuries together and despite Alden's attempts to set her free, Amara refuses to leave. He appreciates that loyalty. Amara is usually the person that Alden goes too when he needs someone to talk to. She's the only person he feels truly comfortable enough with to open up about his deepest, darkest thoughts.

"She's a nice kid. She reminds me of someone but I can't put my finger on who..."Ruby is, in many ways, very similar to Alden. Their matching personalities mean they get along very well on the odd occasion where they find themselves in each others company. As both have a love of music, Alden often joins in on Ruby's songs.
C H L O E H U N T E R
"We'd probably get along if we knew each other better."Alden is far more aware of Chloe than she is of him. He wasn't particularly interested in her until he learned that she was also a thief. It peaked his curiosity and he has kind of studied her from afar ever since. He knows that she has potential but he also slightly worries that she may get in over her head. He has no doubt that she could take care of herself if she ever did but he worries more for the safety of Chloe's younger sister, Ruby, than he actually does for Chloe herself. He knows that certain elements of the criminal underground wouldn't hesitate to use Chloe's sister against her if they ever felt the need. So Alden keeps a close eye on both of them, ready to jump in if they ever need help.

"What a fine upstanding citizen. We should all aspire to such greatness or whatever blah blah blah."As the local law, Alden isn't particularly fond of Archie. He has had more than one encounter with the sheriff but has somehow managed to maintain his freedom. Alden doesn't like law enforcement in general but what really annoys him about Archie is his unmitigated arrogance. The thief will take every opportunity to subtly try to bring Archie down a peg or two. Despite the fact that Alden doesn't much like Archie, he at least respects the man for trying to do the right thing.

"Beautiful woman but I guess, in this case, it does only go skin deep."Alden doesn't really know Piper all that well but he's not impressed by what he's seen so far. She seems cold and just unfriendly. And on top of all that she's a lawyer too. He does his best to stay away from her.
